Ive been a casual Slipknot fan for a while. I dont always seek them out but love a few songs. This... today... 10/22/2022 is the first time I heard this song. ....Instant goosebumps and jaw drop....
My favorite line is "you want the real smile, or the one I uses to practice, not to feel like a failure!" I remember being 11 or 12 practicing a smile for the same.... this song is insanely awesome \m/
Slipknot is the craziest concert I have ever been to and nothing has yet to top them. Corey Taylor can take an entire crowd that is moshing and make them stop by putting up his hand. It was crazy. As soon as he put his hand down, the crowd went right back to it. Insane energy and exhilarating expierence.
@@chefkochmurat2550 Like every artist or whatever thing you craft, you CANT stay the same, you would go crazy, you will evolve & change. But "sold out" please...
decades no since multiple decades would imply 2 decades so 20 years and iowa came out in 2021 and its not better. Neither is it better than Vol. 3. But def the best album from this decade since its better than gray chapter lmao
I can never get over goe fantastic Corey's vocals are. As a young singer I look up to talented singers who can be both melodic and raspy. Corey, M. Shadows, and many other metal singer have had massive impact in me. I love slipknot so much.
They are INSANE live. I saw em twice now and their performances are filled with energy and it just takes you to another dimension man, i felt DRAINED and ENERGIZED at the same time after
That concert in the video was Download Festival 2019 in the UK, I was there. Seriously, there's nothing like it, get yourself over to the UK for download 2020, you'll have the best time!
Honestly this is one of my favorite songs they have released since iowa. Seems more true to the core like the first two albums. I feel like this album wont be nearly as "commercial"
As someone who’s first slipknot concert was knotfest 2019, this show literally raped my ears (in a good way), and left me wanting to go to 5 more of those shows
Constipated Communist Respect, both those songs are fantastic; but we also got to consider Layedback is still new to the metal game and although those songs are great and he should definitely react to them! I think Pisces would be a great first song for him to react to as an introduction to the band. But that is just my opinion! Lol plus nothing says that once we get him started on Jinjer that he won’t react to all those great songs!
I'm a big rock/metal fan and I love when you react to those videos. So cool you expand into different genres of music. You got a new subscriber in me! Keep it up 👍
I got so much time for you man, humble, authentic, down to earth, open, true. Been binging a load of your videos today and I love these metal check out videos, I'm tuning in every Sunday from now on!
The older stuff is raw - full of emotions and energy, trying to make it. The new stuff I wouldn't say is commercial, I still love it. They have matured, and defined their sound, and their new stuff is RAW in it's own way. It's hard for a band to find a new level of raw after 20 years. This shit is amazing, and can't wait for this album to drop.
That expression at 4:02 and face at 4:06 pretty much equals epic metal reaction, quality music approved, Slipknot has been in my top 10 for 20 years, this album will surely put them in my top 3 of all time
I was in that crowd!!! Was insane the energy. The entire field was full, you couldn't see where the people ended at all but they didn't play this. Good editing for the video ✌
I was at the show were this was filmed. It was the third time I’ve seen them live. Possibly the best gig I’ve been to for a while. Never stopped moshing! Glad you liked it - new fan.
I was at their show for Knotfest 2019, the 2nd show on the tour, and the pits were crazy, shirts and trash was being set on fire, circle pits, most amazing moment of my life so far
Cardinal Copia I’m going to Knotfest on the 11th of this month. Btw, nice name. Ghost was my first concert. I saw them on November 1st of 2018 on the “Pale Tour Named Death” tour that they did.
Slipknots older stuff was heavier with darker tones, lyrically and musically, while their newer stuff is somewhat softer and more emotional, in my opinion at least
But you have to remember that the band evolved. At the self-titled, they were in their early 20s. Now they are in their 40s and have families. The band members grew has persons and has a band
Corey just isn't able for it, same for some of the others but he's pushing 50 so what are people to expect? You get idiots (not you) giving them shit for being 'softer' and it makes no sense. In fairness, some of their new songs are very similar to their old stuff.
I agree to a point in the case of slipknot vs stone sour I always felt stone sour was the high minded emotion band and slipknot was the raw open wound emotion. Both can be truthful but each has its place though over the years they seem to have muddled out twords each other. I'm not up set with it though. Feel they have taken the best of both and now the knot is fully matured into awesomeness it always was but with the wisdom they have gained from the years of hard work and harder rock.
Yo man, it's mental to see that they used the festival I attended as their music video. Amazing band live and the atmosphere at that festival was amazing.
I love them and I'm 15 and heared of Slipknot couple of years ago when my sister listened to them. Since than (11 years) I'm fan of them. Next year Imma go to their concert in Amsterdam :D I'm so fucking hyped!
Cory Taylor is the lead vocals. He has more than just this, which is on par for him. He hasn't lost a beat. I agree Duality and Psycosocial are great ones.
