Essentially, "the loneliest day of your life" is the day after you lose a loved one. You just feel a hole in you and feel so alone. You start thinking you cant go on and that you should have died, etc. and the whole world is burning down around you, but nobody else notices because its a personal trauma and pain you are working through . So while everything is on fire, nobody cares but you.
Basically, when someone feels that loneliness, it's easy to feel like everything around you is burning and nothing is going right. That's just the symbolism they're using in this. The rest is the band isolating themselves and folks who may not show they're lonely but everything around them is burning.
I mean, yea, if you go deeper into system of a down, then you'll get the deeper meanings of all of their songs. But im not trying to get too deep into all of this. Lol. Ima keep things simple.
@@mattx.x9504 He doesn't have a brother. Daron, the songwriter, is an only child. Most people interpret as it the loneliness we feel can be ever-present, or that the people are indifferent to the loneliness, as they continue on while fires burn around them. Important to note songwriter and video director are two different people.
@@BiGGPG Bueno, que mucha gente esté de acuerdo no significa que no haya necesidad de discutirlo. Mucha gente apoyaba a Hitler y el holocausto. De todas maneras, tu interpretación me parece acertada.
I have to say, back when Deer Dance came out, I was too young to appreciate the significance in the lyrics. But I definitely do now. I’ve always appreciated the fact that SOAD are anti-establishment... actually they were very progressive for their time
Its about social disorder and how isolating it can be when you realize the struggles that every person has to deal with alone, and how thru perseverance we can come out the other side knowing better than we did before. It applies more today than ever.
To me this song has always been ennui manifested in the song form. It's that feeling of being isolated even when you aren't and you can see that in the video in the way the band members are in the tour bus together but aren't speaking or connecting with one another. It's how we can be physically close but not connected. The video hits differently, like you said because of the protests, but the song also hits differently because of the quarantines. Crazy how universal the feeling can be no matter the situation
Cant Wait Till You Make A Reaction On “I Prevail’s” New Video/Song “DOA Ft. Joyner Lucus”. Its A Deep Message, Something You’d Respect, And Probably Something You Can Talk About. Touch Up On With Current Events. Im Currently Stationed In South Korea, U.S. Army. And Whats Going On Back Home Is Truly Heartbreaking And Out Of This World And Really Makes Me Scared For My Family. Others Need To Spread Positivity. Not Hate 🔥🇺🇸
Never heard of Starset so i just finished hearing both tracks mentioned. I like both but probably Telekinetic more because i like heavy songs with breakdowns. And My Demons has a catchy but epic chorus. Thanks yall! Adding to my apple music 😎
It’d be so awesome in your reaction videos you include a clip or a full explanation of what the song is about for your knowledge, and the viewers 💕 it helps understand the music on a deeper level
This song is incredible. There have been (and are) hard times in my life. When I listen to this song, I seem to clear my thoughts. I forget about everything. Just me and Lonely Day... And thanks for this video. I found ur channel about 3 days ago, and all these days I was watching ur videos. That's very interesting how u feel about different genres of music.
Basically the fire represents the destructiveness of a loneliness on the mind. How it just slowly burns in the back of our minds and we don't notice till it's much to late. At least thats always been my take on it. They even go as far as to say theat they'd join there group for anything, whether that's going out or death, just to get that human interaction needed on those low days alone.
"Why they be doin me like that?" The difference between a good artist and a great one is the ability to use dynamics and tempo to add a whole new dimension to the music. If your fans were sending you terrible rock music, it would just be LOUD.
Man I LOVE all your reactions to all System of a Down music and videos. Those reactions remind me exactly how I felt when I first found about this group 10 years ago. Please do more of SOAD music.
Bro, i usually dont like reaction channels, they bore me, but you... you're actually entertaining, funny and honest about how you feel about each song. keep up the work.
Hey can you please React to I pevail “DOA” their music video relates to everything that’s going on with the world! Today!!! Please please!!!! People like this do he can see this comment
Love your vids man. Especially these rock reactions cause you vibe the same either way. Real. I bet you’d appreciate this song called “Gravity” by Holding Absence. The music is genius, vocals are tremendous and the music video is perfect for the song. Keep up the grind man, I appreciate it!
Take a look at alexisonfire “this could be anywhere in the world” love the content brother and the different genres man keep it coming I love my rap but the rock gets me as well man ! All good music
Yo yo, I’m so happy to see your reactions to these videos.. I’m not sure if there is a video for this particular song or if your content restricts it but listen to “cocaine” by System of a Down.. it is truly beautiful.. thanks
Hey ladbackfdr it's been a rough couple weeks I'm getting medically discharged from the marine corp for breaking my leg during a hike and your helping me get through it with these reactions. And thank you.
I believed that the music video is portraying how society is on fire but most of the time people just keep going with their lives blind to or purposefully not seeing what’s going on, and not helping put out the fire, and it just keeps growing... day by day
I always thought this song was about the kind of day that no matter how bad things are, people passing you on the street don't care. So the fires in the background it's like a person who is having a very bad day, and no one notices it. That's loneliness.
Second, and also, react to the sidemen disstracks, you may need to find some video explaining them, and obviously some of them cant rap, but ksi can and miniminter is pretty good too, then you could also listen to the deji vs Randolph and then later his own brother ksi, so yeah, just a suggestion
@@Makerr99 I am well aware they were the best, it's just he clearly cant rap, and why would I say his are the best, I'll let him decide that for himself.
Why would he waste his and our time reacting to sidemen disstracks, when most of them dont sound good.... and they are jokes that he and most his people wont get? Stupid suggestion, so many real songs to listen to...
@@DrHirad one, dont come at me like that, its a suggestion dipshit, second, of course I know there is more to music , I'm not fucking stupid , I listen to music practically every day and can even play the guitar, finally, it might be a waste of your time, but he might like it, so how do you know it will be for him, so back off and mabye instead of going at other people's suggestions, make one of you'r own if its that important.
You gotta react to Family Bvsiness "Skip This Ad" produced by eminem. The song will blow your mind. Best hip-hop song of 2020. Like this so he see's it
Hey man! I found you recently and love your reactions and videos and the way you prioritize spreading a good word of health! If you get the chance react to Ryan Oakes Way up or Drinking about you!
