FIRST REACTION to UNB - FEELING, ONLY ONE & BLACK HEART MVs & MORE! (Request) 

The chemistry between the chosen members of UNB was unbelievable. I miss them :( The Unit was the most enjoyable survival show I've ever watched (and I've seen 10+ of them). It was such a friendly environment, maybe because all the contestants were already idols, but the non-successful ones, so I think they just understood and connected with each other on a deeper level from the beginning. It was also very touching show, because we could hear all their stories (I needed tissue more than once). Thanks to The Unit I started listening to so many boy and girl groups that were on the show, like ONEWE (then MAS), Imfact, Madtown, A.C.E, HOTSHOT, Spica, Laboum, cignature (5/7 girls were on The Unit) and many more. If you like to see some pretty talented, but underrated idols - The Unit is for you.

The unit was the only survival show I've truly enjoyed. It wasn't perfect but the environment was friendly and there was little to no toxicity. It's even more sad that the management was horrible and they let all this potential go to waste, the members had really good chemistry together. Sometimes when I go back to the episodes, i recognize some people I didn't know when I first watched it. The shock I got when I noticed that Onewe was in The Unit and I just didn't know them back then. I could have found out about them wayyy earlier and I'm so mad at myself tbh 😭

The unit was the only survival show I GENUINELY enjoyed. Hangyul (ex-X1) was on The Unit and actually said that he enjoyed The Unit but didn’t enjoy Produce

I love UNB! The Uni+ was such a great show, I was really cheering for all the contestants (though especially Jun [because UKISS!] and the Matilda girls) and Black Heart's choreo is GREAT, it doesn't come out as much in the MV but I have watched lots of the stage performances XD

UNB and UNI.T deserved so much better. They were managed under MBK and MBK has great artists but really bad management, maybe even the worst I've ever seen (artists fleeing to other countries to get away from them bad.) UNB were amazing dancers and they had so much potential so I'm so mad at MBK for giving them 2 seconds and then dropping them months before they were supposed to have disbanded. I would definitely recommend watching The Unit, it's the best survival show I've watched out of produce, mixnine etc. and the episodes are all on RU-vid and subbed and there will definitely be some familiar faces (ONEWE, A.C.E, cignature, April etc.) Loved your reaction to them and I hope you check out UNI.T (who had even worse than UNB disbanding after like 6 months or something with crap videos and minimal promoting).

Thank you for your reaction, Kaia. The blonde dancer that made you go "Ooh" in Black Heart is Hangyul. So yeah, one face you might know in that video. Also.. they were badly promoted but really cant even compare with how bad promoted UNI.T was. UNI.T had members from groups April, Spica, Dalshabet, Sonamoo, Laboum, Hello Venus, DIA, The Ark and N.CA(soloist) but they only debuted, got few videos on YT as extra content (apart from joint content with UNB like a Weekly Idol episode) and after few months they got one cb. Titled "Begin with the end". That was a disgrace. Even the videos were much cheaper. Sorry for my rAnt, just to give perspective. The Unit was an amazing show but the outcome kinda bittersweet. They had freaking Taemin, SanE, Hyuna as judges in the first round but somehow the managements of the groups were not that good. Btw. BAE173 is now under MBK (Pocket Dolls Studio to be exact) - agency that had UNI.T and also DIA. When Hangyul and Dohyon entered Produce x101 they literally said that they are there to save MBK.

UNB had a sister group called Unit that were formed on the same survival show as them, I hope that you will react to them soon :)

UNB members had such similar dance levels that they could perform choreo like Feeling SPOTLESSLY, and honestly that's pretty rare. These idols who have already debuted getting another chance to promote and see fans and make music, it really just hits ya in the feels. Thanks for reacting!

yay!! thank you for the reaction :] unb was basically a group full of main and lead dancers. euijin and feeldog are also some of the best dancers in the industry imo and deserve WAY more attention but people barely mention them when talking about idol dancers

Still these days I remember UNB, they are a group so talent and I'm think if they continue like a project they're be popular for these days I miss them

im not a unb stan, i dont know them enough but i love their music and choreo and so holy crap every time i saw one of the busking performances in my recommended i would end up spending hours just binging their choreos and busking videos from like 10 different angles cuz it was just so fascinating watching them dance.

I think the person you recognised in Black Heart is Hangyul from X1 (now BAE173) at 21:15. He just missed out on the final group but featured as a dancer in the MV. I sooo wanted him to debut with UNB along with Beatwin's Jungha, who is also featured as a dancer at 21:16. I don't know if UNB were mismanaged or if the fact that they were created by a KBS program meant other channels/stations were not keen to promote a competitor's group. I can't recall where I read this so I could be wrong. The Unit thankfully introduced me to A.C.E but it's a difficult watch, as most audition programs are. The show was a second chance for idols who had already debuted and featured many of my favourite slept-on idols (ie. Feeldog, MADTOWN, Spica, etc). Also, it might just be my Choice-bias but I feel like A.C.E's Jun fell victim to evil editing. After watching Mixnine, I could see why Jun was strict and frustrated with the other contestants. How was he to know when his standards are based on training with Chan, Donghun, Wow and BK?

There was a theory of Only One MV that in the end when they look back they're looking at their past selves and people who are there for them, that those people are the reason they're not giving up for their dream until now. I saw it in twitter, I kinda forgot... But that was memorable theory because it does show by the song and the ending scene... Thank you very much for reacting to UNB! They're a great group! :)

Not at me tearing up watching this because I miss UNB ;~; I'm glad Chan is back with A.C.E ofc and that they're doing relatively well but I do miss seeing them together because their chemistry was just so fun and good. I also don't see the others doing much stuff, I know Jun's been acting and Euijin went back to Bigflo and they released some stuff a while ago but nothing really recent and I don't even want to get started on Hansol's situation.. :l I want a UNB reunion! It doesn't have to be a full on album but at least a variety show or something together pls ;~; Also, I would absolutely love to see you react to The Unit, as many other comments stated it was one of the most enjoyable to watch because the vibes were just so positive most of the time and the bond between all the contestants was great!

I highly suggest you to watch the unit (out of any survival show). It was the only survival show I truly enjoyed, because they weren’t cruel towards the idols and it allowed idols who hadn’t been successful so far to make themselves visible and have a “second chance”. I also found so many new artists to listen to like imfact, madtown, laboum and mas (aka. Onewe).

Honestly the whole reason why i got into kpop was bc of the unit and UNB was the first group I actually liked, but man i was devastated to find out that they disbanded even before i knew them. They’re such talented guys and the mistreatment they faced was such an injustice 😭

The 2nd one to sing in Feeling (he was also the one who spoke in French during the song) is Jun. He actually came in first place on the reality show The UNIT. He is the platinum maknae of UKISS. I say this because not only can he sing he also raps and acts in dramas and on stage and he’s an artist. He put out a solo album full name LEE JUNYOUNG pls react and pls react to his group UKISS they debuted the same year as SHINee. Their current line up consists of Soohyun( he’s the only original member left) Hoon and Jun. They have a lot of good music. They just never got popular. They are my bias group. Most people know them from the song Manmanhani. In fact Hyuk (VIXX) Eunwoo(ASTRO) Wooshin(Up10tion) Ooon (Halo) and Hyungwon(Monst X) aka the cartoon boys did a cover of it. Oh btw Hyuk along with Seunkwan from Seventeen are big UKISS fans. So pls check out their music. Especially 0330, Neverland, Stop Girl and Playground ( the only song they got a win on) They are highly underrated

omg never thought you'll be reacting to unb. at first i was so happy/excited that you react to this but Only One making me emotional again. these boys, they were so good but really unfortunately wasted by the management. seriously one of the group with crazy talented dancers (as you can see them doing freestyles & that was only few of them there) & great vocals. genuinely great bonding among the members too. thank you so much for this.

i love UNB so so much тт_тт got interested in Unit coz of Feeldog, a good friend of Hoya from INFINITE and ex-boyfriend of Bora from Sistar + a very good and wholesome man by himself. But fell in love with Chan and ACE, enjoyed the great music and chemistry of this boys They still hold a special place in my heart and i miss them a lot Also they had so much potential as a group and deserved a lot more .. it still saddens me ^^"

I miss UNB. They were so good and I just wished their contract was longer than 7 months. But I understand why it had to be short since most if not, all of them belong to other groups. If you have time, you should watch The Unit, Its actually a very enjoyable survival show. Yes it was a competition but the atmosphere was generally friendly and heartwarming. This group had AMAZING dancers. So their choreography is top notch. What saddens me a bit is now that UNB is gone, the only member who's still continuously active in music is Chan with A.C.E.

One of the best groups made from a survival show. They should’ve gave UNB a much longer promotion. The members have great chemistry . Wahh I miss UNB so much. Fun Fact : HANSOL is a former SM ROOKIE . He is supposed to be a member of NCT. He left SM before he participated in The Unit. Currently he is a member of NEWKIDD.

The one whose face you most likely feel is familiar in Hansol, because A) he looks a lot like Yuta and B) he was an SMRookie alongside NCT, but ended up leaving SM, but he still features in a lot of pre debut stuff (and his hands appear in the rearranged From Home MV)

Only One is THAT song. Now I must listen to it over and over again. I didn't actively follow them or The Unit, but I've seen enough clips to know that the show was full of supportive beans and friendship. (I want to watch it... but I know I'll get attached because I have too much love to give lmao)

alot of groups that are a result of survival shows don't get enough promotion, same as with 1the9 as far as i know, and the yg mixnine thing never ended with a group. but then again some of the big groups are also results of survival shows, like monsta x, stray kids, winner etc. maybe it's a bigger issue when there are members from different companies?
