Had a power failure. The grid went down and when it didn't come back on for 15 minutes I went our and flipped a few breakers and now the house is running completely off the solar system. I am surprised that the house is only pulling 1,600 watts with most of the lights and 1850 with the dryer running. At this rate I can keep it like this over night as long as I dont run the AC.

The system I have is using the EG 6500ex inverters. I am quite happy with them but I have learned that the company will be sunsetting them. So I am thinking will parts and service be available years from now. I am considering an upgrade to the 6000xp or the 18kpv but undecided which. but for now I will just think about it.
