I guess you watched the match last night and that is the weather we have had for months rather than 6 months of snow. Unlike Norway where your tarmac is above the surroundings and water washes off the surface, we in uk operate a different way . Your higher level roads remain clear, even felt safe for me with riding in the rain and beside those snow banks. We in uk have the reverse system and all the rain washes mud and debris off of the fields and on to our tarmac. Despite months of heavy rain, much more than usual, our road surfaces are destroyed, pot holes, gravel and I am glad I do not have to ride in the dark trying to guess if this is a puddle or a deep wheel damaging hole ahead. Glad to see you will soon be able to enjoy some more twins on tours.
Hopefully Villa will give away some point in the last games💙 Great to be back on the Norden but the weather forecast says 15 cm of snow tomorrow😡 luckily for us temperatures will go up this weekend(15-20 degrees)
@@simpleguyon2wheels1975 No longer need to leave home in the rain, as I can choose which day to ride and Dartmoor national park, here in Devon is 5 miles from home. Just had a two hour ride in sunshine before more rain tomorrow - apart from a bmw service recall last month (My R1200RS SE got a free new drive shaft, rear bevel drive and all rubber boots etc renewed free of charge rather than £3700 cost) where I had to ride there for delivery and three days later for rainy collection I avoid rides in the rain. In the last 10 years I have done more riding in Norway rain on my 4 trips than I have done in the uk but hopefully we get better weather this year. Going the same route as you - I ordered the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 last November, still waiting but due in next 4 weeks!
It has been too long😁 unlucky for us there is coming more snow this week😡 The temp is going up to 15 degrees in a weeks time so hopefully that will be the end of it👍
As beautiful as Norway is, and as much as I want to visit and ride there - I'm glad I live at a latitude that lets me ride almost all year long! It was good to see your joy at being back out on two wheels again. Safe travels!
