Lately there has been a few motorcycle manufactures that have brought out retro bikes (Triumph and Honda come to mind) but Kawasaki has done the best job by far.
Hm. I love the look of this one. I've got a ZX14R SE in the garage, but I'd like something a bit more chill with some classic style for daily riding. It just looks a bit small under big guys like us IMO. I wish they scaled it up to a true muscle bike, and made it about a 1500cc with as much torque down low as a Mining Truck, haha. Then I'd be really intrigued. We always get shorted on the muscle bikes in the US.
I am hearing you, Would be great to have naked ZX14 style bike with a bit of bulk as well as the Z900RS,Could call it the Z1400?? Give it some classic styling and a Fat rear tyre...Ahhhhh what a thought, Thanks for watching, enjoy...
Bought mine three weeks ago here in Ontario. Bought it at Inglis Cycle in London, ON. Great shop. Wasn't able to get the SE edition so settled for black. Stunning looks! Awesome bike.........love the feel of the bike and the performance. Got 685 kms on it. Just comparing Petro Canada 94 octane and Shell 91 octane (no ethanol).
Hey there Outback Al, Thanks for watching and commenting,We mainly do this for fun and have a lot of fun doing it.We are at Team Moto Kawasaki,Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Better known as Heaven on earth...Stay tuned for more soon, Thanks.
Exhaust begs for aftermarket, and I have seen Akropovic already into this bike. Get rid of the underbelly catalyzer and drop about 30+ lbs... I WANT the pipes to blue... This dual layer stuff is stupid and adds weight.
Aussie Kawiman must of watched this vid 30 times leading up to mine arriving. I was still in plaster when I ordered it. I’d hit a deer on my 1299 Panigale and had few injuries and the bike got written off. I ordered the Z’ed as soon as I was paid out. This vid kept me going until it arrived, especially the wheelies 👌🏻👍🏻
@@benjibradshaw69 ,Awesome Ben, Glad to have kept the dream alive for you mate..Glad you are all healed up and riding again, Kept the front wheel skyward mate...Love it mate.. :)
Hi Basharat Tahir, We do too mate ,as you can tell, Thanks for watching, Hopefully will have some new videos soon, just waiting for heh ninja 400 to arrive and the Z900 Cafe's,Keep watching,Thanks
I saw the real thing, but it felt quite large. (実物見ましたが、結構でかく感じました。) It is too big for Japanese for being made for foreigners. (外国人向けに作ってある為に日本人には大きすぎます。)
I’ve already done nearly 1,000kms since Wednesday and the more I ride it the more I love it! Easily the best bike I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a few.
Hi Richard Mann, Yep technology has come a long way but the seat is still a little on the hard side, but still comfortable,Take one for a ride and see what you think, Thanks for watching..
I think the suspension will be fine for a pillion but as per most bikes a long ride is usually broken up into a few short rides and it would be criminal not to stop and let others have a look at this Beautiful bike. Will get the missus on it and see what she rekons, Thanks for watching, Enjoy
New bike was it ever run in correctly as the manual suggests would not want that bike or to buy from that dealer if it was not as it would indicate their lack of standards.
Madalf71 I’m 5”6 I ordered one . Can touch floor on balls of feet. A lower seat is an option . But I have a “metal bones” in my Left leg abs knee is limited to 110deg angle . So lower seat mite acute angle . I think I’ll be on in std seat. So for now I’ll leave it as std .
Thanks for info, will jump on and see. The seat looks fairly thick, so the lower one should not feel like a plank I hope. The $660(if I'm right) is a hefty price for another seat. The look of the bike is fantastic especially the kitted one in the other video. Keep up the good work.
Hi Andres Hernandez, I get where you are coming from but as we have limited time to get a review up a couple of monos and a bit of fun does not hurt any of the bikes, You should see what the factory guys do to the bikes, And we have never had a problem..After all it is a Kawasaki..Thanks for watching.
Hi Big T, Yeah i tend to make most bikes look small,I'm 6'4" and 125kgs, but this Z900RS is bigger in the flesh than it looks,The seat height is tall so it is pretty good to ride. Thanks for watching,Enjoy
Hi Chippy Boy, Yep $18k for awesome attention to detail, Cool looking, Great feeling it gives you when riding bike. I do know a lot of bikes a hell of a lot more expensive and don't do what this one does for the road rider....Try it for yourself,Thanks for watching,Enjoy
Yes, you said it... A lot of hype to try and sell this thing. One thing I noticed right off is why the hell does it have a gear indicator and then on the tach a Big Green 'N' for neutral... Lmfao.
