Now through the end of October 2019 we have launched a TeeSpring campaign to raise funds for equipment for the channel, but to also give back to the community. Our goal is $6,000.00 with $3,000.00 being split between two animal rescues here in OKC. Rabbit Rescue OKC and All Paws Rescue. Help out so that we can provide them with the donations to aid their needs for food, toys, bedding, and all other needs for the foster animals while they look for a home. Visit the TeeSpring store:
teespring.com/stores/rabid-he...
and if you need gear anything bought from American Legend Rider through my link will also be added to the total and can be found here:
americanlegendrider.com/?rfsn...
Also for each $500.00 we go over you win as well. We will be giving away a new GoPro Black edition of whatever the top tier is at the end of the campaign, so 7 or 8. And more than one can win. If you purchase from any of the channels above please keep the receipt because we will ask for proof, go like our Facebook page, and comment "I'm In," and we will select a random winner. Must be a US resident.

I love my Guzzi Flying Fortress. I rented a Street Glide for a week and didn't love it. The Guzzi FF handles better, looks better and turns heads everywhere.

Great review. I've gotten about 15,000 on mine now. It's my 10th Guzzi and quickly becoming my favorite. If you think they're good at less than 500 miles, wait til you hit the 10K mile mark. They really break free then.

Thanks for making the video. I need to ride one of these! I've been drooling over them since they came out. Heaviest bike I've owned was a BMW K1200S, but have ridden my father's old Kawi Vulcan 1500, which was 800 something lbs. I'm getting to the age a nice cruiser sounds like a good idea (last bike was a dual sport). I think I saw in the comments you bought this bike? How is it on longer rides? Is the stock seat any good for long distance?
@RabidHedgehog
@RabidHedgehog 5 лет назад
Here is the follow-up to this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xyRSTZaiAyA.html I did indeed purchase this very machine and I do believe that it is very good on longer rides. Stock saddle is good for that as well. I will say at first it takes a moment to figure out how to get your legs into a position to dodge heat on hotter days coming off the engine, but once you get there you feel nothing. This for me being 6 feet with 32 inch inseam just backing up my feet on the pegs and riding Harley style, which is legs out from the tank, and the air just flows right on by.
@SuperGinkgo
@SuperGinkgo 5 лет назад
Full dresser (bagger?)/ultra tourer really quite niche here in the UK, you see the very occasional Goldwing and the BMW K series around but they are real expensive here... I would love to see that motor or maybe the 1200 from the Griso in a Le Mans reboot, now that would sell!
@RabidHedgehog
@RabidHedgehog 5 лет назад
I would love to see that as well. This is the first Guzzi engine that is Euro 5 ready therefore it allows it to continue on where as the 1200 had to go for now. So it would be lovely if they decided to give us a Griso 1400 SE.

You must keep at least one hand on the handles at all times. If you don't do that, the torque spin will throw you to the right in a NY hurry. My 500cc BMW did it too. This one is 1400cc, so it responds quicker than mine. Dont try to show off by riding "No Hands". It doesnt work on this bike. The review you did was awesome!! These bikes are great for touring on. I just hope there is aftermarket parts for a top case and something to keep the passenger in his seat as these have a LOT of torque. I do mean a LOT. !!! Don't underestimate the torque!! Its not a bike for a sissyboy. That motor puts out lots of power like the narrator said.

Wow! Carbon fiber, and the whole nine yards! Who wouldn't love this Bike!! Those Italians did a great job in the R&D Department! And Yes, the heat when its cold or wet keeps you happy and your legs dry! Not even noticeable in summer and I live in Phoenix, Arizona where it's over 105*f most every day for 4 1/2 months of the year! Kudos to the dealership you have on Oklahoma City! Test riding one tomorrow....still torn between the mgx-21 and the 1400 touring. Now that you have had this bike for a little while I wanted to ask you if you miss the foot floor boards from your other baggers?
@RabidHedgehog
@RabidHedgehog 4 года назад
I will always miss floorboards and heel-toe shifts. But the way the MGX tucks your feet in behind the V twin the wind does not effect you as a conventional touring bike with feet forward and pegs. It's still a nice ride and the vibes are not heavy in motion.
@akula1055
@akula1055 4 года назад
Love your reviews, they are much informative and enthusiastic than many other channels. I have a question about how is the MGX21 when you ride at slow speeds like 25 to 30 mph and when you ride in roads like the A1A in Florida. I am 5.8 and 175 pounds and was told that the bike is to heavy for me. Thanks and keep up with the excellent work. Cheers.By the way I am not a novice rider, I been riding for more than 30 years but I am not as strong as my golden years LOL.
@RabidHedgehog
@RabidHedgehog 4 года назад
This bike is an interesting one to get used to. The biggest thing is getting it off the stand. It has a large steering stabilizer that makes it tough to do the trick of turning the bike off the stand so to speak. Also the bike is top heavy as well. Is it too heavy for you? It is a maybe. It does have that taller saddle and if your legs are not easily on the ground then leverage will be hard to come by and you will not be able to easily lift it up. Holding at stop lights is pretty easy as once the bike is up it is balanced. I will say the wider saddle might hurt leverage again. If you can find one the best thing to do is sit on it and work everything for about 15 minutes and you will know. Riding at slower speeds is fine, though it has the typical 21 inch front end flop over in less than 10 MPH maneuvers. But 25 -30 is not like that.
@akula1055
@akula1055 4 года назад
@@RabidHedgehog Thanks for your answer I may better go with the V9 bobber sport which I like and is much more light and nimble. But comparing the prices the MGX21 now is a better bang per buck than the bobber I am also considering the V7 III Racer. I watched a video from you saying that the difference in power between the V7 & V9 is marginal and the V7 handles better, am I right. Cheers from Qatar.

@@RabidHedgehog its an intriguing bike, though im wondering if it sits in that place where its fun at first, then ends up as a red headed step, where riding it makes you want something more specialized. What i mean is if your preference is to cruize it id be telling myself theres better cruisers. If your preference was twisties and sporty speeds, then id be telling myself theres better sport bikes. This happened to me with an Aprilia Futura. I was riding so hard decided just get a rsvr1000. Before that was K1200RS and thats a heavy pig to throw into turns, but she did it.
