Meanwhile in Germany, bi-level coaches are so ubiquitous in commuter transit, we have a short word for them: Dosto. Short for Doppelstock (lit. double level). They're not as spacious as the North American ones though. But they operate at speeds up to 160 km/h (100 mph).
