@@mrsamick24 good news is they haven’t changed a thing on the RMZ since 06! Lol I’m from the days when the only yellow bike you could ride with pride was a YZ. We had a friend who was always talking up the RMs and he would push his more than he rode it. Ahhh good times

@Dino Lupi I’m sold on the Beta line of bikes. Hard to beat their 300RR race edition for the enduro/off road that I primarily ride these days

@Dino Lupi I’ve had every color of bike over the years, the Beta is top notch and should be considered by anyone looking to buy a 2 or 4 stroke bike. Their balance/chassis is second to none

100% of factory teams cannot ride a Suzuki at all.

Wot I found with my Suzuki was clutch faded after a hand full of hard laps,, front brake rubbish and as heavy as American cheese burger eater.

yea i agree i don't get the kick starter hate ... i mean for a kick start bike you can spend a few hundred and add a electric start and on the flip side for electric start bikes you can spend a few hundred and add a kick start ,, yes i guess it sucks to have to spend to get what you want but really it isn't that big of a deal

I wish they still had a factory team. People forget that Makita Suzuki was THE team to be on in the early 2000s. The G.O.A.T. rode them, Dungey started out on them, Reed won an outdoor title on one, Travis Pastrana was on a yellow bike for nearly three decades, Alessi had probably the only shot at a 450 title he ever got on a Suzuki in 09. Sad that they have kinda fallen off the last four or five seasons.

For real. We're so influenced by what's on the media. I have a YZ250F, but I rode one of my friends RMZ's and had no issues. Besides the kick start, I feel like the color's are the only thing local weekend riders should really look at when buying a bike. Just pick your favorite one.

Dude you're talking about MSRP the whole point about Suzuki is being so great because you don't pay MSRP. I found 2019 and 20s 250f in the $4,000 range and $450 in the $5,000 range. 2019 RMZ 450 is still basically the same bike. Not to mention it's basically the same bike as any other Big Brand minus an electric start. The only other thing they need is front fork work and for the 450 rear shock work. The 250 has a great rear shock and good forks a lot of people just replace the 450 shock with a 250 one. Is it a little bit slower than the competition yes does it handle is good debatable does it have an electric start no it's a suspension is good no it's not but with a little work it can be. These are worth saving four Grand to me.

I'm good friends with a Ktm/Suzuki a Shop. You know why they sell the rmz so cheap ? No one buys them and they get stuck with them . That's why the ly can go for 5k .....

@@4touchdowns1game29 spending average market value of a brand new bike is worth it to me so that why I get a product I can enjoy. I have had a 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2017 rmz. I loved them all but it always left me wanting more

@@alanpectol902 yeah nobody buys them because of the stigma of them not being updated and being bad bikes and not having an electric start. So it's actually good for you if you're going to buy one. A perfect example that I remind me of is the PT cruiser GT. Back in the day and even now neon and caliber srt4s or expensive and marked up and are still hard to find clean ones, few people knew that you could just go buy a PT cruiser GT which nobody talked about because of how ugly they were. Almost all the parts on the PT cruiser GT are interchangeable the only difference being the air intake. All the suspension components etc are the same as is the same platform. To this day you can still get PT cruiser GT's for super cheap because people write them off without having any idea what a steal it is. If they have people that race rmz's professionally be it few and far between they're good enough for me and you. Honestly for 99% of riders they are great bikes out of the box and all we need. The 250f I rode hadn't been updated in 2 years but it honestly rode better than the brand new yz250f I had just ridden. All It had was a tiny bit of suspension work and a muffler. The forks weren't quite as good as the YZ but they were close and it was a little bit slower but It handled a lot better and felt more natural in the air not to mention it was like $3,500 cheaper. Also the RMZ motors are supposed to be bulletproof.

I tried an rmz450. Hated it. Got on a yz. Would never go back.

My buddy got a yz450 no valve adjustments at 400 hours, my bike needs a wheel bearing at 400 hr

Nah, like they say kick starter keeps you young. If I bought a 2021 bike I’d either buy a 125, 250 2 stroke, or a Suzuki 250f for the reason that the only bikes that have a kicker anymore are a 2 stroke, or a Suzuki. They need to start putting them back on bikes. One day that electric starter is gonna go out in the middle of a race and how’re you gonna get your bike to start then? Put the buttons on sure, but always keep a kicker on for a backup at least.

I have enough batteries in my vehicles I have to deal with , don't want to deal with charging a dirt bike battery.

you do realize you can add a after market electric start to the bike right? they're like $200 , quit being a cheap ass

If your a competitive amateur suspension and engine work is on every B class bike. When you do that to this bike your not 2 seconds slower. A high level rider can see a difference on the stock bike but upper level amateur don’t ride stock bikes anyway!
