It's such a blast. I by no means consider myself to be a terribly skilled rider but its so much better than a big 4x4 would be on the trails. I don't understand how the sport quad hobby has declined so much. Nothing other than a dirt bike could take these trails at a somewhat high speed.
@@deepwoodssittin2737 when I sold my YFZ 450 I bought a Bruteforce 750. I did this because I bought a house with more property and needed something that I could work and play with. And it does just that. I think it just comes down to needs out of a purchase. With the mods to my 750 I believe its faster in a drag than my 450 was. I also have a modded 800 Sportsman that is fast as hell for what it is. I love to ride in snow as well and thats where my sport quads fell way short for me and these fast 4x4s clean house. Im now at the point in my life I can afford to have multiple toys and the sport quads are luring me back. I miss the light weight and sharp handling of my 450. However being in my 40s this time around Im going all in on suspension mods for comfort because thats one area the 4x4s blow the sport quads away.
@@rzl07375 love those brute forces. A good friend had a 650 back in 2004 or so and we used to rip that thing all around. I should have a 4x4, the family cabin is on 160 acres...so naturally i get shit all the time for not having a trailer hitch haha. But then I wouldn't be able to touch the whooped out trails that surround the property. I'll always try to keep at least one sport quad in the stable for those trails.
How are the chatter bumps on this? I’m looking to buy a 660 and really stopped riding trails in Luther MI cause it was just painful to ride on an older Polaris 4x4. Looks like a lot of fun!
I've got YFZ shocks on mine and after some tuning they aren't as bad as they were before making adjustments. There are a lot of sections of trail around my place that I would hate to take at speed with a 4x4. That being said, I am a bit out of shape and the whooped out sections kick my ass after awhile. You can throttle/wheelie through them but after awhile it gets tiring. But like I said, I am a bit out of shape...still has to be better than a 4x4 though!
@@deepwoodssittin2737 Thanks for the info! I am a hefty guy who doesn't ride too often, so that will make my decision easier. From the videos it certainly looks way more pleasant. Do the YFZ shocks bolt right up?
