*FIRST ROLLER COASTER BEING BUILT! Winter Wonderland Construction Update #2 *
Today We are back at the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland construction site, the event will start on November 17th and Will boast many record breaking rides, although none of them are in yet, there is one (not so record breaking!) roller coaster that has gone in!. This coaster is racing coaster, a small junior coaster that has been at winter wonderland in past years consisting of a helix several times. So far this is the only ride to go up but many more have been arriving over this weekend!
There are two more updates left to happen, the next two weeks will be some of the most active weeks on this site, as the countdown begins, the map has come out and the groundwork is almost done
All of the wiring that is underground has been pretty much finished and the paths are almost all down. The bumper cars have also been seen on site as well at TWO large cranes
So much construction has been going on the past year with Project Exodus (Hyperia) at Thorpe park
Nemesis at Alton Towers
and Now Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
The main attraction, Olympia looping will be going up in the next weeks, a huge 5 inversion travelling coaster!
