I can’t believe how effortlessly your doing 160mph+ whilst having morning chat!!😂 Absolute stig they would say here in the UK Thank you for the time always my bro🙏🏽
@@fabioribeiro5071 ....and VERY HIGHLY modified, of course....lol I had the first year GTI in the usa when they hit and it was a totally different car than the Toyota Corolla GT and Celica GT's that I had had previously.....the '96 8 valve GTI I had was a POS dog.....you could run faster than that car......then I got a Z32 300ZX TT and modded that one which was one of my fav ever cars until my EX totaled it on purpose one fine sunny day.....bloody hell.
Being from Scotland and using Mph I really appreciate when the Speedo shows Mph too. Actually switched my Speedo to show kph just so I can know the speeds in these videos 😂😂😂😂😂
@@robertkukulis8491 I have been but when it’s corner to corner so quickly it’s harder to compute. Just knowing the direct comparison is proving more helpful :) however I’m very rarely going quite as fast 😭🤣
That is the majority of car guys actually it’s not exclusive to uk. 😅 Here in Portugal we have a lot of uncultured people who think only in power and forget how to manage it. 🤷♂️
haha. feel good about the longevity, i broke mine in well and didnt even get to sport mode in the first 1200 miles, haven't launched it yet (12k miles so far), and only use sport/sport+ 30% of the time. and yet, it's still fun
The B58 stock cooling is fantastic! When I take my 440i to the track (B58 gen1), I change the coolant temp target and intercooler mode via MHD to Sport and Track settings. I track the car the whole day with coolant and oil temps in check throughout 20 min stints, runing Stage 2 E30, sometimes Stage 2+ E40
@MotorHeartAT I had one 430i 2018 convertible in Rock Snapper Blue, beautiful car, but a bit slow, so I sold it and bought a 2015 pearl white M4 convertible instead 🥶
Very kewl of Misha commenting on the floating chassis on those high speed uphill sections, that was prefectly portrayal for understanding it... very interesting !
Is it just me that is watching on every video at what speed he passes under the bridge? Haha this 240 crossed at 177 kph which is about the same speed as the panamera turbo s e hybrid with 200 hp less. It's pretty impressive
Descobri o canal hoje , muito bom pelo visto , viciei nos vídeos. Conheço a pista no automobilismo virtual , sou Brasileiro . Nem imagino o que estão conversando. Se ingles ou Alemão , mas que experiência magnífica . Essa pista é uma experiência incrível ! ! !
Sick, also team Bilstein T-shirt!! Rock n roll baby!! I can definitely see the suspension wobble some as it tries to keep up through the corners! You really love to drive!!
I couldn't help but notice your smartwatch and it got me thinking: considering how calm you are at such speeds, it would be really interesting to have some heart rate info on the screen
I measured it during Spa25 race in VW Fun Cup, it had no power steering, no AC, no ABS, 170 other cars on track, big fights. Did not go above 135, Dropped to 70 during FCY.
Misha a little suggestion that maybe will be interesting . Add a chase cam on the back of car *like in a NFS* but again not sure if that fits the regulations. Could possibly be a nice addition.
You were lucky with still pulling of this ride, we did a quick meetup afterwards, just before you wanted to take out the E46 Supercharger M3, which sadly didn't happen due to the huge crash and horrible weather.
your audience would also love a classic alfa... (pre 90's) though the tuned c4 was a refreshing and unique car in the channel, and apreciated. please, put a classic rwd alfa, (pre 90's) and iv'e bean waiting long time since the breathtaking GTV tease. peace
It still kinda surprises me how heavy modern cars are sometimes, I used to have a Buick Century estate late 70s early 80s model, the last RWD version basically identical to the Chevy Malibu of the same years, it was 1750kg, and compared... I also had a 1993 Volvo 240 wagon before, it was around 1250kg, it almost seems like a light sports car in comparison to modern cars... until you try taking a corner :P Also that blue MK1 Golf, you said he owned a camp site, so it is the one that used to be at Victoria Station then? I'm pretty sure I saw it there back in like 2017 as me and some others camped there.
Hi Misha, I noticed you often ask people if they have ABS and/or traction control while you're already on track. IMO that's something that could be corrected to avoid an accident. Take care
Love how the MK1 Golf is totally killing this BMW during Hatzenbach. Or as we say in Germany... "Fahrwerk, Alter!" P.S. I am pretty sure the MK1 would have stayed ahead all the way from Hohe Acht to Pflanzgarten. Misha get into this car, please!
@SaschaPallenberg The GT3 is so much faster through the corners than a M240i because the GT3 is lighter, has more downforce, much wider and probably stickier tires and of course a better suspension. The reason why a super light Golf MK1 is so much quicker is weight, most of all. Not the suspension.
@@Dathumm we are talking around 100kg. Suspension is the key when you look at how difficult it is to keep this M240i on the road. Too much power for the suspension. A proper setup and it would bumpdraft the MK1. There's no doubt that the weight to hp ratio is an important factor, but I am pretty sure that there's not a huge difference between the Golf and the Beamer. Hatzenbach is about mechanical grip, not aerodynamic one.
@SaschaPallenberg I won't discuss this further... You mentioned the reason why the Golf MK1 is so quick through Hatzenbach is the suspension. I say it primarily is the weight, period.
Tire pressure/temperature indication on the dash? What modification do you need to perform to get this on a M240i? Is it an M2 dashboard with ECU mods or something else?
The 2 series chassis seems to be a great platform to work from but it's a shame how much weight the M240 carries around. The 230 is 100 kg (220 lbs) lighter but way down on power.
@@fabioribeiro5071 I assumed as much since that's what's commonplace across most automakers. The reason they are so heavy is all the safety equipment, sound deadening, and electronics. At least it's not as bad as an EV.
Looks like the owner used your expertise to judge his tune and cars performance under stress. I don't think he would be looking to upgrade suspension as per your advise (it's not going to be tracked, just driven on the main roads I guess - that's what M240i is all about).
