First Rotimatic in UK - Reviews 

Morning Dr Sowmya, all Rotimatics sold in UK (I know) are compatible for UK I.e 230V supply voltage and 50Hz and comes with UK three pin plug.

Absolutely worth it. I am still happy with this purchase. There are still some days when we encounter errors, got use to it. Family sitting together and eating hot rotis / chapati... just worth it 👌

Yukta Chiranjivi cant recommend more. I am using it from last 6 odd months almost daily. No issues at all. I am sticking to Pillsbury atta setting, now there is almost no wastage.

I am in my 9th month of using Rotimatic almost daily and I am very happy with it. There are odd occasions once a week where there is an error in the machine or roti is half cooked but for the convenience I get, I am happy to bear that. I would still recommend the machine but still, think its expensive but if you love hot rotis then worth it.

I wish you all the best with your purchase. Personally its worth the buy. Answer 1 - you have to remove 3 parts the kneading unit, the rotar and the kneading plate, clean it to remove the atta and then chuck it in the dishwasher. Answer 2 - I clean it every night i.e when we load the dishwasher but use rotimatic twice a day. There is a weekly and monthly cleaning cycle on the site which I tend to follow. Answer 3 - if you can have fresh hot rotis at a press of a button then why make it in advance. To Answer your question no they aren't as good as hand made fullka or chapati as the rotimatic roti gets a bit chewy after a while. But you can eat it, i used to eat them regularly in tiffin (pre covid era)

I usually apply ghee before packing the rotis in tiffin. keeps it soft... Heat it for 30 to 40 sec and your are good to go... Obviously they are not as good as hand made rotis but does the job of filling my belly. Yum Yum...

I use Pillsbury or Ashirwad. One should stick to the atta listed in Rotimatic settings

If your rotimatic is under warranty then chat with service desk and they will help. I had few problems and they were very helpful in resolving them for me

I have tried to get 38 to 40 Rotis one time. Just had to top up the flour / atta and water couple of times during the process. There were couple of errors like thick dough and half cooked rotis. But it saved efforts of making 40 rotis. 😎

Cleaning is simple there are video available on rotimatic site. All removable parts are Dishwasher safe.

Mine was among the very first orders in UK hence it took 4 to 5 weeks to deliver.

Rotis and Puris. People recommend using rotis for Fajitas but that's not the same. I stick to Hot Rotis which it does really well.

Yes as noisy as the cook 😆. But it gives you nice warm rotis.

Still working for me flawless. I would call it a piece of perfect engineering

@@saurabhsole I think the machines they churned out in late 2019 were nothing but polished turd. It made real bad rotis and was throwing random errors every few runs. After multiple updates and remote sessions, the machine was returned. Maybe I need to put some faith in your comment and make another purchase.

@@tan_k I had some issues and errors in mid to late 2019. I raised a case with the helpdesk and they resolved it over the air. It took them a week to get the best setting (i chased them every day) but since then it's all well. I do get errors once a while but that's fine, got used to it. All the best 👍
