Players are now getting squeezed from both ends as x bot just increased their fees due to the knock on effects of the pass (fewer people playing and SPS dropping). With xbot lite holder now paying out 20% to xbot and also having to pay for the pass plus any card or sps rentals, its going to be hard for any mid to lower players to justify continuing on. I have to say I was expecting a larger reward increase. Mine barely went up on my main and isn't up at all on my alt.

just gave it a try this season however iam not buying wild pass going forward-deactivating bot and focusing on Land-tournaments-Guild, maybe ill dedicate an hr or so on Modern rank play

It's a bot solving bot problem which will plague any web3 game. Splinterlands is the pioneer in web3 tokenomics, they're tackling problems, which most web3 haven't even come across yet, airdrop coins then what? Spl best web3 economy except for the fact, no one outside cares.

I like the season pass, just another great move by Matt and his team for sustainability via keeping the massive bot farms in check, providing a Dec/voucher sync, while staying true to the narrative, meaning not just playing "whac o mole," by introducing the season pass it will fix a multitude of issues that were negatively impacting the human player experience.

I don't see myself continuing with passes. As I don't have a ton of staked SPS, my earnings were less than the cost of the pass. I don't know why the pass doesn't scale based on the league you're in. I think I'll play an occasional modern battle, but mostly just Brawls as those return up to 10x vs. wild for me now.
