I created a folder under general/path settings and have a new folder 'reaper recordings' where I save all my audio files at but Everytime I open up reaper it says save project (this is what I want) before I record anything. I name file, and when I do a a folder pops up 'reaper media.'. How do I rid of this folder and what is it for? Ty
I would also like to add why does an auto saves folder show up but it has nothing in it? I created a folder auto-backuo so I'm confused. In all I have audio files (media), auto-backup, autosaves, backups and the rpp (which is not in a folder). Ty in advance. Love your vids.
@@boareserke To change the track size as he does around 2:53 just double click Track Panel and you should get a drop-down arrow on the right-hand side. You can use that to change the settings. I didn't have the percentages options either. When in doubt I just double click and that often works.

The first setting I need is how to make text bigger. Everything is so small. Also I don't understand why no DAW has a feature that zooms plugins to make them look bigger. Even if they lose quality of image at least they would be readable. Scaling is so messed up with everything and no DAW has an answer.
Depends on the screen your are using, I work on a 50" and every thing looks so big that I had no space, and I had to rescale Reaper´s down a bit. I just looked in the net, and I found that you can do that at: Preferences: general: advance UI/system tweaks; check the box, Scale UI elements of tracks/mixer panels, transport, etc by: and there change number, below 0 it will go smaller, over 0 it will go bigger. For the plugins, some of them let you rescale other do not. In my screen some of them look so big that they take a big chunk of my working space... resizing the Ui has solved the problem, a little bit. Font, and texts can also been change.
