Fantastic job on your Jeep project Bob,,,it looks and sounds amazing. With so many questions to ask,,lol,,I would like to say one thing. THANK YOU 🙏 for posting this video. Watching this video warmed my heart and was a distraction from our current state of our world affairs and our nation to control this outbreak of the virus. Take care of yourself and your family. Be safe. God Bless you.
Man, what a nice thing to say!!! I’m thrilled that this video brought you even the littlest form of relief from the nonsense we are subjected to each day. Have a great one!
Mike, thanks my man! Project Rowdy and your informational videos are a real inspiration. Life is all about helping others and you’ve done that x1000 with your project. Can’t wait to hear yours!
@@BobWilson84 Cheers! I'm still plugging away. The Bodywork is just consuming alot more time than I expected. Spend 10 hours this past week stripping paint. I know you've been there. Love all the Paint details you shared. It is helping me plan my strategy. Cheers!
Awesome video Bob ,,, in my search for more information about the Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 i happened across your Videos.thanks for the inspiration (as my project is a 71' Chevy Vega with a SBC to LS3 conversion)
Cool project you got there. I can’t say much about the efi system yet since I haven’t really got past starting and warmups. So far I can say the connection to the tablet was simple and the initial programming was a piece of cake. Let me know if you have any questions, I’m no expert but happy to help.
Subscribed a while back and must complement on the Immaculate build Bob. Very Impressive! My overall question is Did you integrate the factory GM computer in conjunction with the Edelbrock Pro Flo for some components to run, or is it completely operating by way of the Pro-Flo EFI? Thank you for sharing. GT
Bob, when you ran wires from engine bay to cab, did you use and connectors like deutsch so if someone ever had to remove the tub they could disconnect?
I got my fenders back from my paint buddy. did you have any issues with the brake lines on the driver side running on the frame? not sure if I should relocate lines or start cutting the fender. I did the 1" body lift.
Cool, I had no problems along the drivers side. There’s one cross member between the tub that’s a little tight, but with your body lift you should be golden
@@BobWilson84 I got the fenders on. In the end I put the CJ fender next to the mirrored Yj fender on a table. Following the profile with a sharpie. It turned out good. Thank you for your advice and videos
What didnyou do for wiring the alternator? From my understanding there is no wires in the edelbrock harness for the alternator. Was curious what you did for that?
I'm looking to do an LS swap myself into a 79 Firebird and have a stupid question. Does the ProFlo replace the need for a factory harness all together or are there bits you have to reuse? Non of Edelbrock's promotional material or web site say anything about this. Really hope you can help me out.
Not a stupid question at all! The proflo was awesome and I’d recommend it to anyone doing a swap. The only wiring you need to reuse is the harness on each valve cover for the coil packs. If you search for “coil pack harness” you’ll see what I mean. Also, I’m nearly certain they were the same left and right, so if you don’t already have them it should be easy to find used. Ok, good luck!!
@@madrabbit9007 The pro flow doesn't use knock sensors, they are eliminated. I choose to cover the engine valley with a fancy plate just for that purpose.
BobWilson84 well, I didn’t take my Jeep apart bolt by bolt like you! Open headers for now, going to a shop at lunch to quote putting in an exhaust, I may put an electronic cutout in just in case I want to be obnoxious in the future. My wife said the same thing about the nice day! I’m glad I have an “isolated” hobby during the craziness!
