Good thing I had that fire extinguisher in the garage! Please SUBSCRIBE and LIKE the video if you enjoyed! It really helps me out a lot. Check out my Instagram: 2_vintage_ Thank you for all the support!
This is one of the most challenging repairs in my opinion. No room, timing chain, two pistons. This was a spectical to behold in young Joe's career as a braaap, braaap tech. You do very well. Very well indeed!
Hey Dude? Do you ever take a break. I can't stop watching what you do. You inspire me to want to buy something for me and my son not running and make it run. Every young man needs to have this knowledge. Great videos.
You're reminding us that we should all make sure to have a suitable, working fire extinguisher in our garages/sheds. Well done, these things happened and you reacted fast.
gotta love it when the rig catches on fire, you handled that well btw. Next time I would just go straight for the fire extinguisher, blowing on it just gives it more oxygen
Its going to run! 👍probably won't hurt to relap those valves, redo that head gasket. I'm confident that you got this bro👊 did you see that second flare up? 😯 no worries man! It means its working 💪, rats chewed up an old truck I had, I fixed all the wires, injectors ect, removed nests, ran great, took it to smog it, woooof, caught fire in the smog test! Little nest in the cats heat shield I missed. Burned up the starter wires and stuff, replaced right there on the spot, continued the test and it passed! Everything just about is Fixable, good luck!😎👍
You sounded like the big bad wolf when you were trying to blow the fire out 22:05😂 no way I would have tried to crank it with one carburetor on pouring straight gas into it.
22.04 who didn't see that coming way to much gas bro... I would never have put that much fuel in a fresh rebuild and no exhaust pipes and no intake boot. But im sure you learned that by now.. Im not raggin on you bro but damnit man...
Dude those mules are the most stubborn machines in the SxS market especially the old ones. Good luck with that old thing, new rings will help I think. Keep hammering bud you'll get her.
We see that giant extinguisher sittin in the corner every video ... its saying "one day youll appreciate me" ... surefire way to piss off yer wife is to burn down garage
Dang really sucks you gotta tear it back apart. I really enjoy ur vids. Makes me feel good knowing I'm not the only one dealing with annoying small engines😂😂
I forgot to say, why not pull the plugs and put a little fuel down each cyl. Also check the time again, and spark? I know you will eventually start it!!!
Bummer you put so much work into it to not fire right away is a total bummer but the gap on valves seems offly huge for that but i could be wrong!! Its happened once that i will admit too!! Good job anyhow!! Nect time the beast shall fire!!!
I always find it interesting to learn about new machines from your channel and how each machine differs from each other. I think you should try getting a Suzuki lt230
I'm thinking to raise the idle screw setting on the carbs to allow more air in. Mabie it will run. I did hear the cylinders fire briefly, but I think the idle is set too low to run. More cranking amps
Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but as a fire fighter here blowing into fire doesn’t work because fire Lives off of oxygen so you only helping it
You're working is clean! Nice work on everything! Good vids! I like all of. Them! I want that. I am 36 Crippled. I use to know. U do great work on everything! Don't listen to everything!
Those cylinders probably need to be bored the reason why you don't have any compression. You put a stock set of Pistons on some cylinders that are out of spec. You need to take those cylinders engine shop and have them Mike the cylinders you probably need to go up to the next piston size or the rings of wore out. I like that you keep your projects low budget but sometimes you got to spend a little money if you want it right. 28:00
But I love everything that you do I will be 13 years old but I’ve fixed my dad‘s ATV that’s been selling for 20 years me and him put a new motor on his Go kart you rebuilt the Jetske and I really don’t like dirt bike by myself and when I’m being frustrated with my dirtbike or something I always turn to watch your videos
Check timing that can cause compression to read low a buddy of mine bought a motorcycle that was reading low on all cylinders it was just the timing wasn't set right
It's really doesn't matter what position the rings are in as the turn in the cylinder when the engine is running so what ever position you put them in will change as soon as you start the engine.except 2 stroke rings that have locating pins
