In this video, you will discover how to take your first steps in the world of IXI Personal Flasher, the tool designed for ECU and TCU reading and writing via the OBD port of the vehicle.
The very first steps are: downloading the software from ixi.center and verifying the tool connecting with a Magicmotorsport account.
Once you get access to the software, you will be guided in identifying your vehicle, reading a file and creating an ID Session to download the read file. Do it all on your own or ask for help to a professional.
How to modify your file? If you have the knowledge, just download the file from the tuner suite on ixi.center, otherwise share your ID Session with the seller of the tool or with an expert from the list of international tuners.
Then, writing is extremely simple.

If I have two cars can I read both cars with the same tool or do I have to buy one for each car ?

Hello, thanks for your interest. No need to have two tools: with IXI Personal Flasher you can work on all vehicles as long as they are included in the Vehicle List ixi.center/supported-vehicle-list/

Hello :) Quastion about support for Virtual Read - Octavia 4; Leon 4; Golf 8; Audi A3 8y - DSG DQ200G2.1 TC1784 I have only IXI Flasher - without bench functionality I see that similiar car is right now supported (GOLF 8 DFY 1.5etsi dsg) I am thinking to return my IXI Flasher to local distributor because of not supporting my car -but i can i wait if there is possibility to add support for this bunch of cars There are really high amount/volume of cars on the streets with this configuration of engine and gearbox - that has issue with clutch tuning operations - waiting for ability to modify program (Octavia 4; Leon 4; Golf 8; Audi A3 8y) and the customers that are going to spend money for using another tuner'tools You have right now ability to support GOLF 8 -so i think adding these cars above should not be big amount of work for you. Are there any plans to implement functionality for Virtual Read DQ200g2.1 TC1784 - for Seat Leon IV KL 2021 1.5etsi in near future?
