Thomas didn't get enough time to produce. The hip injury he was coming off of is a debilitating career changing type of injury. Not to mention playing in Cleveland with LeBron puts alot of pressure on players to produce and puts guys under the microscope. If you're not used to that kind of pressure it can catch guys off guard. Thomas needed time and he just didn't produce fast enough. Cavs needed production asap and he just couldn't answer the bell. I wish him all the best but it was a trade the Cavs had to make.

Cavs should've traded Kyrie for Booker and a role player or two. Not only would you have a rising star that would do even more damage with LeBron passing the ball, but Kyrie would be on a shitty team in the West and Boston wouldn't be a problem at all.

I think IT was struggling with Cleveland because he is still not 100% healthy, and he had too much pressure to play as good as kyrie with LeBron, and when he played with Boston, he had no pressure he had good teammates and was the leader for the Celtics, IT might play better with the Lakers than with the Cavs because he will have young talent that can defend like Boston and the Lakers could use a really great shooter like IT but might have to come off the bench when Lonzo comes back and the Lakers need a good bench player like him

Not a fan of IT but I feel bad for him. I still have doubts that this trade with the Lakers will work out for him. Just my opinion, I would love to see him go to the Spurs. I'm not saying that he'll go there to be a franchise player, but he can be an offensive dynamo off the bench. They have big men who can roll/pop on an IT screen, although he's a defensive liability, for sure Pop can work it out. IT can learn a thing or two when it comes to defense.
