First Test of the Wellcraft 355

coming from an axopar 37, it is light fun and eye catching... but i am excited to see the build quality of the wellcraft..... so many issues we have had. not sure if we will jump to the axopar 45, which is the same price point but still worried about the axopar quality.... excited for wellcraft to blow new life into this market.

Can't wait to see it. Looks like it avoids some of the problems I have with similar Axopar 37 and Nimbus C11.

Beautiful boat

I like the concept. Concerned, however, about the headroom at the helm. The tester was crouching to see out all sides. I am 6'2" so it matters. Also the boat seems a little light. As a 30 year veteran of touring the Bahamas I would like to see a version of this a little heavier (sturdier?)

$600,000 of Fun! I remember when Bayliner was king of the boat world. This boat is better and faster but wow. $600k really? For a 35 footer?

Commuter yacht is a good description. So curious where this very euro-styled boat is made since you stated it's the first time being seen in the U.S.?

Does it have genset for power when anchored ⚓️?

This is NOT a test, but an overlook of the boat...

Seems like a direct copy of what Axopar and Nimbus are building, with a less efficient hull as the 37 Axopar reaches 52 mph with twin 300's. Wellcraft's quality was average at best so hopefully Group Beneteau worked on that.
