We're all haters outside of Northern California. Not even really haters, we simply think they and their QB is over-rated. This is probably your last chance this year before rebuilding.
@@deciuswtasbyhow can they be? When’s the last time they beat us? I can’t remember lmao the last time they played in the regular season they got blown tf out in Santa Clara
The question is ridiculous honestly. The chiefs and 9ers are perennial superbowl contenders at this point. They also play in seperate conferences. Their odds are basicly the same
I'm begging someone to fact check nick on this show. Rams beat the niners because they had already clinched the conference and were RESTING their players
@joshuahartman2555 that's my point, it was a throw away game. Niners had already beaten them earlier in the year with their full starters. A game that ACTUALLY mattered
I love how nick thinks the rams will be good, but constantly says how the kelce loss is big for the eagles…. Both are huge losses, but the rams lost the best defensive player ever not name LT😂
The Rams went on a huge winning stretch the last few games of the season and were playing lights out. I think the Rams will be really good this year and surprise people and give San Fran a run for their money.
“Nobody went off in the Minnesota game.” Kirk Cousins went 35 of 45 for 378 yards and two TDs, Minnesota scored on 5 straight possessions. How is that not “going off”?
Purdy will be even better this year. He actually got a full offseason to train properly and will get his first full training camp without having to rehab an arm. Niners still have most of their key playmakers. This year Purdy takes a leap in commanding the offense and making more off-script plays.
I feel like it's also on the table that he never touches the numbers he put up last season. CMC is a ticking time-bomb. Kittle and Trent are old. Deebo and Aiyuk trade talks crop up here and there. After Purdy gets paid, we'll see whether he can elevate a less talented supporting cast.
Trent is old kittle is not. Either way they were both still the best at their positions last year. Aiyuk could be moved but he's mostly a result of the system instead of being super talented imo. CMC is a bit of a liability but I think his history of injury is more due to him being the only real offensive weapon his teams had and being overused which is not the case with the niners. This team is still right in it's prime Superbowl window and a little better as a unit than last year.
@@megilacuttyjones735 you really sold out he played the next week nobody plays the next week when they had a concussion the week before you need to go do your NFL homework
@@bmass0828 when can the lies stop is that you son they have taken people out of games you seen that right but didn't know until he was on the plane and played the next week tell me one time that happened so I can look it up please
Nick said the injury gods would punish the 49ers for getting rid of lance. All they did was reach the super bowl with Brock Purdy. He just hates the kid for no reason at this point, the team is still in tact so I believe they could make it back.. like would it be difficult? Yes. But it’s possible.
He’s so clearly scared that purdy’s start to his career is just as good as mahomes so far. he can’t figure out how purdy is doing it when he’s not 6’5 230 lbs so instead of giving honest takes he trashes the kid. Then throws a tantrum when ppl don’t agree or call him out on Lawrence or Williams. Saying a rookie that hasn’t taken a snap yet is better than an mvp finalist who made it to overtime in the superbowl is just stupid.
I’m really rooting for JJ this year I think he can make some noise and make the Vikings be a dark horse team this year and be the Green Bay packers and light up the league when no one expected.
@@jaxsontuttle4932Vikings are well coached on both sides of the ball. They definitely have a chance to surprise some people. I think Darnold will get the first shot to start which I think is the right thing to do.
He only pick and chooses what facts to use. He’s a gigantic hypocrite. And the other 2 are scared to call him on it bcus they don’t wanna be kicked off the show. Smh it’s sad that this is our sports media world now. All hot takes and no facts. Smh
@@megilacuttyjones735 Brock Purdy got out played by his own WR. Kyle needed trick plays and refused to go for it on 4th and 3 in OT because he didn’t trust Purdy and Mahomes outplayed Hurts on 1 leg Hurts fumbled that game away and Patrick was perfect in that 2nd half and let’s not talk about Jimmy G…
Last 3 years niners have had the least rest out of any other team, but of course Nick doesn’t care about that. Also the Chiefs literally have the 12 easiest SOS this year
Didn't the 49ers reach the Superbowl just three months ago? And who was their QB? Right. It was Purdy. So Nick saying the 49ers will never reach the SB without Purdy is just plain biased and stupid.
I don’t understand why anyone would think the Chiefs have any interest in winning the conference this year. They are in their LeBron Cavs 2nd stint era, where their season starts in the playoffs and the regular season is just about making sure you win enough to make it in.
"In the last 30 years the only team to go back to the Super Bowl after losing it was Quarterbacked by Tom Brady" (2018 Patriots) Interesting Stat - Just goes to show how tough it is to rebound from losing the big one. Last QB to do it before Brady Was Jim Kelly, who did it 3 times in a row! (1991, 1992 and 1993 Bills)
Nick is lying. The Rams beat the 49ers in Week 18 when the Niners rested their starters. Also, Kirk Cousins absolutely demolished the Niners defense that game, it wasn't that Purdy played awful.
Hey Nick Brock Purdy played in Iowa for 4 years at college. The cold doesn’t affect him like you think. Maybe actually do a little research before making yourself look like a fool.
Seriously? stacked deck against the Chiefs? 49ers play FOUR teams coming off a bye this season....Dallas, Buffalo, Seattle...and yes, KC. They have the biggest negative rest days since 2000. This after leading the league in the same category LAST year. Remember that 3 game losing streak? Yeah...two of those teams were coming off the bye. Also... RE Minn: Cousins LIT UP the 49ers D (378 yards and a 107 rating). Brock didn't play poorly till the end of the game when they were behind and he was concussed. RE Rams loss: It was week 18. Niners rested their starters. Brock didn't even play. Its stuff like this that makes me think Nick doesn't even watch the games.
I don't think it will be bc of purdy but bc their defense isn't as elite or dynamic as it needs to be to take risks to be able beat chiefs or other teams that do take risks when you have to.
@@MrDavidknigge Lol Eagles offence was Shane Steichen. Once he left, so did the creativity. Eagles don't use Hurts under centre which means outside zone runs are useless. Eagles also used the least motion in the league last year. Those are two things Shanny lives off of. Brock is gonna tear it up once again bruh.
@@MrDavidknigge Okay and so is Mahomes lol. Dude had the best defence in the league last year (considering playoffs as well) Every QB needs talent to win lol. Both Purdy and Hurts are solid QBs. Tho I do think Purdy is a better passer and QB I'm just showing you why the Eagles offence stalled last year. Steichen's scheme was so important. Shanahan is gonna be in SF
Nick Wrong is clearly threatened by Brock to take the metaphorical throne from Mahomes who finished 8th in QBR & had 19 turnovers in the regular season. His boy is slipping… and before anyone says he got a ring, the Chiefs won in spite of Mahomes, not because of him.
The Rams rested their players too. Kyle & the Niners would gladly trade their meaningless, previous 9 game streak for the 1 win the Rams had the NFC title game a few years ago. 😁
Easier conference. Easy answer. Even if niners pay Purdy next offseason, his cap hit wouldn’t spike until the year after. This window is open for the next two seasons
someone needs to tell Nick Purdy is undefeated in divisional play. rams beat sam darnold when he fumbled because the air scared him lol. As for them losing to the vikings that was more kirk beating that shitty zone defense they ran last year, darnold or Mcarthy can't do that also brock was concussed in that game and played through it anyway
Tbh I think the Niners were the better team last year, yeah they lost in OT in the Super Bowl (barely)....but we can all agree the better team dont always win. Thats why Im a fan of a series rather than a single game to crown a champion cuz it doesn't allow a team to get lucky etc...but as it stands SF was the better roster top to bottom and they out played KC all fucking game tbh. A couple blown plays by SF was the difference and you cant do shit like that with 15 on the other side.
"Because the Vikings and the Rams beat them...." Yeah because that's how you determine whether a team will beat them the NEXT season. AND the Vikings got way worse, lost Cousins, and the Rams beat them with the 49ers resting every starter. Nick - its just bad.
The 49ers Superbowl window is closing the Chiefs got better the 49ers did not Kyle is the problem how many Superbowl loss has he been a major part of Brock has been good enough wait and see
Watch the Packers NFCCG again 2 plays before the miss FG there was a no call Face mask call on Greenlaw, lmao they would have gone 1 and done if it wasn’t for those 🦓.
@MrDavidknigge Ah, the predictable douche bag comment from some random who can't tolerate a thought that doesn't align with theirs. Find a corner and give yourself a hug. I said what I said.
This show is the only one that calls Mahomes the “best to ever do it” and they say it with no shame like TB12 never existed or beat Mahomes in a AFC Title and SB… it’s ridiculous
@@jctslice aaron rodgers has a strong TBE case over Mahomes. There is certainly a debate to had on that front , dont act like mahomes has no comp in that regard.
@MrDavidknigge No because he's counting the first day after the last home game as day 1 of the not at home stretch. So that means he needs to count the first day after the last road game of that stretch as being back at home. Subtract 6 days. And the bye week is in this period, which they're home the whole time. Subtract 14 days. Down to 29. There's a home game during that stretch too. By Nick's measurement, there's also a stretch of 50 days where they're only on the road twice.
@@caughtinthevoidfloyd5821 it died when you have the best RB that can take a dump pass for 60+ yards and a defense that gives you the lead and lets you play freely. Judge him even your 1 dimensional like Cleveland, Baltimore, and in the SB lmaooooo. But pay him
Yeah, the Chiefs are different in win again because they never get called for holding so it's a solid victory for the Chiefs and plus Patrick Mahomes is the golden boy for NFL and for the Swifty so they're gonna win a triple Super Bowl1st ever done in history by Mr. Golden boy Patrick Mahomes the greatest goat, ever to done it because he never gets called for holding
u 'pro' pundits sometimes inexplicably avoid the obvious pertinent thing. He who achieves 2 25+ qb runs advances to superbowl. Lamar didn't in his semi. Goff didn't on his semi. There is nothing wrong with Purdy. Saying otherwise is a lack of sagacious reporting and understanding.
Nick is hates niners and purdy so much he chose rodgers over them which I know was hard for him. Because they're a threat to the chiefs maybe not as good but a threat
More likely is the 49ers. I say that because the Chiefs will be facing better QBs on their path there. Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow are all in the AFC. Same with CJ Stroud. In the NFC, the best QB the 49ers will have to play will either be a Jalen Hurts coming off a bad year or Jared Goff. Goff is good, but not on the level of the 4 AFC QBs I mentioned other than Stroud possibly
You are correct that the level of competition in the AFC is much higher then in the NFC. And yet, the Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl in four of the last five years
@@MrDavidknigge them both getting back is very likely, but the question is more likely. More likely really means who will have the easier time in getting there
@@jctslice the Niners have made it to the Super Bowl two times in the last 5 years. The Chiefs have made it there four times. And yet you say the 49ers are more likely to get back there? By what logic?

Mahomes needs a minimum of 6 rings to be considered the best ever that's just how it is. Sorry Nick and Chiefs fans. And honestly he needs 8 because if he has 7 then Brady gets the tie breaker since he beat him head to head. I would at least entertain the discussion if Mahomes has 6, but until then he's not in Brady's universe.
