Walking away from that rather than checking on people -- maybe in the end he was just showing us how utterly broke he is. Hope he gets real help before he does real damage.
lmao he was all over Ja just for doing something on SM w/o breaking any laws... Now this dude endangers lives and then runs and he expected 1-2 games lol he's such a homer Normally he's pretty great when it comes to things like this, but on this he's been real bad
Honestly, though Nick admits fully and thoroughly that he’s a homer so everything he says you have to take with a grain of salt. It’s Patrick Mahomes that’s been putting on that seasoning that defense too they just make nick look smarter than he is
Yes, Wildes. Rice needs to stay his behind at home. He needs to avoid any situations where he could continue to put his career in jeopardy since he clearly doesn't make sound decisions yet.
He’s charged with multiple felonies. Most people have pre-trial conditions, and “going out” after something like that, isn’t something you should be doing. When you are facing felonies, NO, you shouldn’t be going to the club til 2 am.
There's immature, and then there's being an idiot. The heat is on you. For god's sake, behave yourself. I bet he went out, drank and/or did some recreational stuff and lost his cool. It's beyond stupid.
I think Rice's problem isn't the drag racing itself. Don't get me wrong it's not good he did it but I think the bigger problem was him leaving the scene after getting out of the passenger seat. I mean he walked right by people who were recording it on their phones.
@RawwRex You act like rashee rice is jerry rice, although that still wouldn't matter because the chiefs have won without a 1 Wr the last 2 years they're fine .
Rice was coming along and prolly would’ve turned the page this season and our defense carried us for the most part we can’t keep struggling on offense bro Mahomes was very mid for his standards last season
Rice is important to the Chiefs. They need to do an intervention and subject Rice to significant restrictions such as no night clubs, no strip clubs, and have a team designated individual drive him when he leaves home. Otherwise there is no need to keep him. They took a chance on Rice the same as they did for Hunt and Hill. After Hunt's rookie season where he led the league in rushing, he was released mid-way through his second season for assaulting a woman and than lying about it. The Chiefs will take a chance on players, but they will not tolerate continued bad conduct. Edit: and neither will the fans.
It was stupid, yes, I give u that. But he didn't kill nobody so its not the same. One guy got over a decade and one will get community service or something
@@talonm8487 he's getting 8 games at least Also the result shouldn't fully dictate instead of process. Obviously he's not gonna get 10+ years like Ruggs, but the racing and leaving the scene he might get some time
@timocruz510 I think money buys alot of things including freedom. I've done time and a good lawyer probably coulda got me out of it. I believe he does get 6 or 8 games (if he doesn't get into any more trouble, which honestly, who knows at this point). I agree the outcome doesn't mean it wasn't a very stupid and selfish act but as far as the court will see it, it is far from the same. I wish he would just straighten his life up and realize most people only dream of the opportunity he's been given but unfortunately I don't think he's ready to give up that life or his friends. It took me til I was 28 and 2 trips to prison to straighten up
We do need Rashee Rice. This is not jus a regular year for us... We are trying to be the first team to ever 3 PEAT!!! We need everybody. This is one year that we have to give our players 2nd and 3rd chances.
@@Sambam1981 Hollywood kinda booty tbh and all the WRs are tiny RZ offence gonna struggle if run game can't punch it in. It was already pretty average last year
@@timocruz510 That's what we picked up Jared Wiley for... and man, the size on that guy... 😱... so now we've got height, AND skill on our side... bt the MAIN reason we got Worthy and Brown, was not bc so they can be targets for Mahomes... bt to OPEN up the field for our TE weapons too!!! Sure, Brown and Worthy will get carries... bt their not the teams primary targets... and if we add Zay to our receiving core... then Hey... Adios 👋 Rashee Rice
He's 20, son... never mind not having time to get concussed, a young body heals faster... also CTE manifests by random bouts of violence, not racing with your boys...
Rice just stay home. Have a party at your home. Tell everyone don’t bring anyone here unless you ok it with me. Drink party and be merry. Just real it in mom someone check him and keep him in check. Don’t mess this opportunity up. Someone help him out be that voice and humble his ego most people never have a opportunity like this
Witness statements could be from people who know him and are protecting him. This dude lost the benefit of the doubt when he nearly killed people and fled the scene. The only reason he took accountability is because he got caught on video. Stop caping for dirtbags.
@@Y2K2PointO it could be. And it could be from people that don't know him. I think it was just as bad as you to do what he did with the accident and I think it's stupid to be up in the club. Not covering just shared what was reported.
" If you don't want to get in trouble, stay out of stupid situations. It ain't hard..." ---- It is. If it wasn't then humans would be peaceful animals. lol
Chiefs are better with Rice in terms of on-field talent -- but maybe you just have to look at this as another kind of injury -- he's making himself unplayable although he can still technically play. Sad to watch. The Chiefs have overcome worse with Mahomes -- it's probably better to get it over with in the off-season, I suppose. Why can't we just get some WR talent? Why'd OBJ go to Miami?
Rice must be so stressed out over this. He could potentially get cut and never play in the league again. Oh yeah he's also getting sued for like 10 million over the racing incident.
Imagine arguing stats these days, especially baseball lmao. Here it is Noone can beat shohei's exit velocity, he holds the record look it up. Fastest pitch was bla bla bla look it up. Hahaha . Hoewell let's play ball I guess lol
Punching someone is really a small deal to NFL on its own, on its own it'd prob be just a fine or a small suspension (1 game maybe), but yeah this is a reason to easily extend any possible suspension for the racing, dumb AF
The NFL isn't consistent in it's punishments... so he might be out 2-3 game or the whole season... good old Roger appears to be very erratic when handing out punishments...
He's young and stupid, like I was, but I paid the price, and he needs to do the same. The fact that he hasn't learned anything yet says that he isn't trying. If you are not trying, then you are not working for me, sorry. He had his chance, now give that same chance to someone that appreciates it. inmho.
I don't mean to be racist, but is this something more accepted in the black community? I'm not thinking it's widely accepted, I just mean, is it more common? It's just something that seems insane where I live, excusing it in any way due to age is insane to me, even a 16 yr old wouldn't do that typically. If it were an empty highway in the middle of the night, I wouldn't even care, but a busy highway makes it morally disgusting in my eyes
Perhaps you've never been to Dallas... and NO, it's not JUST a black thing... I've seen even ELDER whites, latinos, young whites, asians, middle eastern, etc.. all speeding like they stole somethin, cuttin ppl off, running drivers off the road... ANYTHING to one up you... in the city of Dallas... it's all kill or be killed, that's what it seems like, driving out there on 75 and 635... mfs is insane as a whole, fam... 🤷♂️🙄🤦♂️
saying the chiefs dont need rice at all or that he’ll be easily replaced is dumb they need reliable pass catchers. also brou a lil too old yes 20 drive like that all that time😂😂just because in your day no one could afford them in todays time its common
Stupid reply that is based on you being used to crap from people. Grow up and expect more from people getting paid millions. You are part of the problem.
I don’t think people are being as critical of Rashee Rice as they should be. Nick Wright is clearly going easy on him because he’s a Chiefs player. But everyone seems to treat this like it’s no different than what Jordan Addison did last offseason getting pulled over going over 120 mph or whatever it was. Rashee Rice caused an accident that happened because of an organized street race involving his 2 cars so I’m going to have to assume he’s the one the lead the organization of this race. It seems like we’re judging Rashee Rice based on how lucky he was to avoid killing someone. Cause if Rashee Rice did kill someone this would be even worse than the Henry Ruggs incident. At least that was an accident. A wreck after an organized street race is not an accident it might as well be seen as intentional.
Yep a lot of weirdos defending him cuz they want a three-peat. Whack AF. Normally Nick is good on these topics but he's been horrible right from it's initial report. Give him 8 games at least
Nick kills me with his Lamar hate the guy gets hurt comes back with the best team he ever had, he wins 13 games and gets to the AFC championship game the team doesnt stick to their formula and they lose…He acts like Tom Brady didnt beat KC in Mahones first AFC he acts like Joe Burrow and Cincy didnt march in Arrowhead and spank Pat Mahomes and he didnt throw a pick to end that game, like he didnt look terrible in his 2nd Super Bowl come back and win two more he needs to stop hating…
@@williambishop7081 Bro everybody in the top five is close PH is above the rest like TB was when he was in the league… My point isnt about who is better my point is that he said he doesn't believe in Lamar because he just had played very bad in a playoff game and my point is PH played bad TB played bad in 2015 against Denver and won two more chips the way he criticizes Lamar is hate bro…
Wildes chooses the stupidest place constantly. Just goes the show never mind the fact he doesn't know sports he's even know how to pick good police. That dude just makes no sense on the show. But I guess that's what happens when you're born into a family that produces the shows. Your dad gets tied at giving you money doesn't want to give you allowance at 45 years old so he gives you a job On a primetime show even though you serve no purpose on the show....
@@cozyboyreacts2799 OOOHH... so you just acting scary... welp, we're gonna REAL scary if we land Zay Jones... how bout chu think about THAT before you open that stupid mouth next time
