Completely agree with shady. The question should be should the ravens and bengals be worried that they have to play the chiefs week one. Not saying the chiefs will win both of those games. But if they do, the bengals and ravens could already be in a bad groove to start the season in a division where all four teams could be in the playoffs.

So far no one has stopped them. Last year was their weakest year (so far). We will have to see how this coming season goes for them, but just tired of hearing about them all the time. It's the patriots all over again. Only difference is I don't dislike KC like I did patriots

The Chiefs led the league in Holding Penalties in 2023 (30), they were 5th in 2022 (24). In the last Two Super Bowls they’ve had ZERO Holding Penalties against them. They'll lose when the NFL lets them.

You’re nuts if you’re betting that they will make the Super Bowl. That’s just a bad bet. Do I think they have one of the best chances of the AFC teams to make the Super Bowl? Yes. But still a bad bet. Odds are +550 right now. So yeah not that great of a bet. In the AFC you look at the Ravens +900, Bengals +1200, Texans +2200 and Browns +3500 All of those are better bets because of the odds. Baltimore and Cincy are bad bets still imo. That Browns line is kinda juicy though. If there was a bet the field vs Chiefs, I’d bet my savings on the field lol.

So two seasons ago when we lost hill, every one was saying that the chiefs are done and then we go on to beat the eagle in the super bowl (never mind the fact that the afc west exception the chiefs brought in seemingly everyone that they could). Last season albeit a little easier schedule we played at our absolute worst on offense and still (with the help of overtime) still beat the 49ers to repeat as champs. And this schedule is a daunting one???

All I'm saying is that everyone counted the chiefs out when we traded hill and let the honey badger walk in free agency two years ago, and even last year when we lead the league in drops and offensive penalties but we still proved everyone wrong and won back to back. Don't count the red kingdom out just because we start off with Baltimore and Cincinnati at home nonetheless

Almost everyone has a 3 in 10 or 3 in 14 this year. Along with no regard for cross country travel, international games, bye week placement, none of that. This is the worst scheduled season in the last 10 years for most teams. It is brutal all the way around.

Well NFL gave the back-to-back super bowl champs the 17th hardest schedule while the ravens and Texans were given the 2nd and 4th hardest schedule.. 17th hardest schedule and the chiefs sounds like a good recipe for relatively easy super bowl run especially for the back-to-back super bowl winners...

The regular season’s difficulty only matters if prevents the Chiefs from getting into the playoffs. Does anyone truly think that’s going to happen? Of course not. Going on the road because they’re the #3 or #4 seed isn’t optimal obviously but they handled it perfectly fine last season. I agree with James-wake me in week 18.

It's not who we play. It's the structure of the schedule. The NFL doesn't care about the health of the players when they market a team that has the fewest days in between games of any team, they play on every day of the week this year except Tuesday and it's because we're being marketed by the league. Just another hurdle. Hopefully we won't have injuries that plague us because that's part of the game anyway. It's not the opponents I'm talking about. As I said, we SHOULD have tough opponents. But I don't care who we play, I give every opponent respect at this level.

That is nothing compared to the schedule the Bengals played the last 2 years. Last year the Bengals had the hardest schedule of any team in the NFL since the year 2000. They played 11 playoff teams and 14 teams that ended with a winning record. So 9-8 or better. They literally only played 3 games against losing teams last year lol. Yea

Every game last year that the Chiefs lost was to teams who had more rest. Three of those teams were coming off a bye week. The other three had 2 or 3 extra days to recovery and watch film. My hope is that the Chiefs lock the down the #1 seed by week 17. They could then play the bench on Christmas day and the last game of the season

I don’t think the opponents on the schedule is the biggest challenge, I feel like the week 6 bye might be problematic…. That’s only if they start getting banged up and hurt down the road. I never want any team to get hurt ever but if they don’t get a first round playoff bye it could be a looong stretch

The schedule relativly easy actually. Ravens, bengals, texans are serious, the bills and steelers i gotta see first but dont think they are atvthe same tier as the other 3. I dont think we will get a weak chiefs team like last year. If mahomes has an achilles, now we are talking but unti then this is ja 14-3 or 13-4 schedule given they could have a bad day and drop a few but even with 12-5 nobody thinks they gonna miss the playoffs

It is not just the opponent. It is the 3 games in 10 days in 1 stretch and then 1 home game in a 49 day stretch. That creates a more difficult dynamic as well besides just who the opponent is

The show forgot to mention.. all those teams on the Chiefs schedule are saying, Ravens - in week one have to play the Chiefs, Bengals - In week two we have to play the Chiefs, Falcons - in week three we have to play the Chiefs... Every team should be worried about the Chiefs. The Chiefs aint worried about any of those teams because they've been there and done that.

I don't think folks in general truly understand and appreciate the Run Patrick Mahomes & this Chiefs team has been on. Since Mahomes took over the snap in 2018 the Chiefs team has yet to go on a REAL VACATION and by that, I mean missing the playoffs or getting bounced in the 1st or 2nd round. It is truly something to behold even Tom Brady and the Patriots went a whole DECADE without winning a Super Bowl.

This is not a bad schedule in terms of opponents. The AFC central is tougher than the East or South, but the NFC south is not very good. I've always hate the way they stack the deck to make teams pay for winning the previous year, but at least the all get punished in a similar way. I see no reason why the AFC west teams should suddenly be competition. Only one has any quality at QB. I am still shocked Denver let Wilson go. He was never the problem. The Chargers seem to have potential every year, but by now the smart bet is to assume they will continue to be the Chargers. As long as the AFC West remains so weak, KC should have no problems reaching the playoffs and we all know that they are more than prepared for road games, if it comes to that.

Too many short weeks? A Wednesday game, Friday game and Saturday game. There are teams that play multiple Thursday games which I would argue is worse.

3 games in 10 days is tough no matter what 3 teams we talk about. Additionally the chiefs have 2 separate times this coming season where they play on Sunday then play on Thursday. Thats ALWAYS tough!!

As much as I cant stand them, thats not a bad schedule at all.. 5 maybe 6 tough games in total, they are not losing all of those.. 12-5 AT WORST CASE.. Probrably 14-3.. I dont understand why people still doubt them. We HAVE TO get them back! Go get them Joe. I dont care where we play them in the 2nd matchup because we will be seeing them again after week 2!

I’m with James! Don’t pay attention to them until the playoffs! Well - actually I’m not because even though the Chiefs always come back to win, their division just got a whole lot tougher! The Chargers are a good team and those wins the Chiefs eked out won’t be there this year. Raiders May give them tough games and some physical whipping. The Ravens D shut them down once they calmed down. Maybe other teams took notice. Never count the Chiefs out though! 🖤💜
