@@jaysonsmith7264drafting isn’t the GM’s only job. You know how I know he’s good? He built and rebuilt 2 elite super bowl rosters within a 5-6 year span. GM’s sign the free agents and make the trades as well as drafting.
They won the draft. This was crazy just how many guys they got that I think will be impact players. This is an Eagles team with still a lot of talent that just got a lot more of it at key spots. Howie Roseman does it again. Loved their draft
Yeah I'm really hopeful the Eagles get back to form next season. But I do think it's anyone's for the taking. Detroit, Eagles, 49ers, Packers, it should get quite intense!
@@JWLSportsHere is my problem with pronouncing that they won the draft, they said the same thing about the 2022 and 23 drafts and the production from those drafts really doesn't translate. Are we sure they won the draft and didn't just draft popular names that won't turn into impact players?

I loved the off season trades, draft was good. It was a lot like it's been the last few seasons. Build o during trades and d in the draft. For some reason the offense Is elite. Maybe switch strategy for next season and get some vets on the defensive side. Younger is good but I think the defense could use some vet leadership
Eagles had a better offseason and draft than the Cowboys. Cowboys haven’t even signed Dak, brought back washed up Zeke, and lost most their OL. It’s the Commanders and Eagles this year. And I trust the Eagles with an already proven good Hurts to win the division
Yeah there's a lot of weird public hate towards the Eagles. Not really sure why. They've been one of the best and most consistent franchises for the last 20 years or so. So to ever just cast them aside makes zero sense to me. They literally beat the GOAT in the Super Bowl with a backup QB! Pulled of a trick play where that backup QB caught a TD pass against the GOAT Defensive coach!

To real though, The eagles were winning that game. The reason the 49ers were QBless weren't fluke plays. It was because the pass rush kept destroying the QBs, lol

The Eagles got Two 1st round talents, some solid developmental prospects, and added a 3,4, and 5 for next year. Trotter was projected as a 3rd and they got him in the 5th. Nick is conflating draft value with team success. The Eagles "Winning" the draft, simply means they maximized value. They went in the draft with a little, and came out with alot.

@@JWLSports only speakin on the small tangent of howie being responsible for 20 years of work. But again post 2018 the eagles have been a great team once if we being objective. And speakin on the draft past 3 years its been mid in terms of production. Only smitty and jalen(to a degree) have hit. So maybe drafting only georgia/bama players isnt a great strategy
Eagles beat Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills, Tampa, Vikings last year all of which were playoff teams. It’s very clear they had issues with OC and DC being over their head on play calling. You’re nuts if you think this roster isn’t top 5 in the league.
I bet if any of these players were KCs picks Nick would be saying Brett Veach the best GM of Football. KC literally is carried by Mahomes and Andy. If Andy had a QB half as good as Mahomes he Would still be in Philly. Nick tends to forget everything good in KC came from Philly’s front office.

I used to enjoy Nick Wright but he has become so biased against the Eagles since the Cheifs became relevant.. Howies draft board had never mimic’d the public’s.. just the last few years he has made the correct picks so it has been closer at the top of the draft. He just took Jalyx Hunt in the 3rd which was not consensus.. he took Landon Dickerson in the 2nd while injured and Cam Jurgens was considered a reach. Then go back and he completely failed going of and taking Reagor instead of Jefferson. Loser is just searching for things to hate on the Eagles just like he always does with Jalen Hurts
I completely agree! I don't mind some fandom and fun/light hating on some other teams. But he gives biased analysis and claims it's not. So it can be pretty frustrating.

Nick and Colin literally had a conversation a few months ago about leaning into takes that get engagement on social media. Whether they fully believe it or not, they will lean into takes that create controversy. It made me completely stop listening to Colin, I like Nick even though he’s a biased weasel. I think he's strategic who he chooses to praise and support for clicks. He knows Dallas has a HUGE fan base. If he likes them, then that fan base will like him. Grows his brand.
@@JWLSports did anybody say otherwise? He just said a lot of the drafts get immediately overrated. Roseman has drafted 4 pro-bowlers in the last decade, with 2 being Miles Sanders and Wentz (who could hardly be seen as elite players).
