I am 60 years old and I knew all the singers of my generation, but none comes close to the impact I feel for this artist. No matter what genre he sings, everything makes him a masterpiece. It is a phenomenon that points to a world mega star without a doubt. Thanks Dimash.

This is at the Slavic Bazaar, where Dimash competed and won in 2015. He comes back every year to sing. This year was special because he was also a judge. He does quite a few gorgeous and emotional songs where is does not go to the stratosphere. Check out Amanat, Karagym-Ai (a tribute to the composer, his teacher) and Samaltau, all are done within the last year and are scaled down and very emotional and intimate.

My reflection focuses on: I. ) The Title of the Song: ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS in truth and in reality this phrase is only applicable to God alone, why… because He alone is endless, and is never easy to come across going to Him casually, much more His dimensions in whatever aspects is cannot be measured. We don’t know really how God come into existence and in His being, because nobody is above or greater than Him, much more no one created Him, He come into existence in his own power. We cannot also fully understand or measure the depth, and length and height of who God is… especially His power, love, beauty and wisdom, which I believed He has revealed it clearly in the BEAUTY OF HIS CREATION. In Gods own design and will, indeed our existence in this world is really a gift and a grace beyond human words, out of God’s great love, generosity and goodness lavishly bestowed on us, but sad to say, it is only for a short time, because by nature everything that exists materially here on earth passes away, nothing lasts. But even if this is our human reality, still God is…and is always worthy of all our praise and gratitude. II. ) As the song progresses, we come across this phrase in the lyrics: THE SOURCE OF MY CREATION. Obviously, this is the truth of our human existence and being that it really came from God. Remember that … our parents do not create us, but are only Gods instruments that we can have a physical body. Yes, materials things like: houses, cars etc…, are human creation, but if God does not give us life and intelligence, still human being cannot do anything. So in the end, we always go back to the source and truth of our existence = TO GOD WHO CREATED US. III. ) Another phrase in the lyrics: SHOW ME THE WAY TO REACH THE CORE OF MY LIFE it is beyond our human capacity to show the way and to reach the core of our life, no matter how holy the person is. Why …? Because each person is a mystery, unique and different, nobody can fully understand who really we are, that is our sacred space which only God can penetrate. God alone can lead us the way to reach that core of our life because our existence comes from Him who created us and He alone knows us deeply through and through. IV. ) Finally another phrase in the lyrics is: TAKE ME HOME BACK TO MY SOUL after we come across this life on earth, our soul will go back to His Creator and to its final true home which is in heaven, the fulfillment of everything that we are longing for, and there, we can fully experience true, endless, perfect dimensions of joy and happiness beyond all human telling and expectation, when we will be united with our God more closely. Why is it necessary and significant for us the realities of this song..? Hi Tom, Awesome reaction to this phenomenal performance. Yeah this theatre is open on all three sides, it was the 'Slavic bazaar' in Belarus 15th-19th July, Dimash won this competition in 2015 and has been back twice as the special guest and a judge. Same this year, this performance was at the closing ceremony and he sang "Love is like a dream" and "Be with me" in the opening ceremony .. they just adore him there!! He was sat with the rest of the judging panel up in a box at the back where it is a solid building, for the four days of the competition. This song was for the soundtrack of the movie "Creators - The past" and you should take a look at the others from the opening, as you say there is a difference to his voice now especially in "Love is like a dream" his low tones in the vocal fry are noticably lower !! 👍👍👍😊😊

👉 This song is the soundtrack for an Italian science fiction film called "Creators- The Past" starring William Shatner, Gerald Depardieu and Bruce Payne ... The premiere was due to take place in March 2020 but has been postponed due to the pandemic. The premiere of this film in Italy took place on October 8, 2020. Director Piergiuseppe Zaia composed the song (main song, he says it) as well as the rest of the soundtrack. A trailer for the film was released in January 2019. The video was released in June. Thank you, a nice reaction! I agree that the last note could be the HIGHlight of the song, but everything before it is also incredible. Actually I like most those tender breathy tones in the beginning and in the middle. For example, when he sings "and hold me tight" he holds the note so carefully as well as "tightly" that it is like a warm tight embrace. Overall I love how he uses his voice in so expressive way in this song, and how low paced but still dynamic everything is. Mesmerizing.

The video for the song Olimpico was filmed in Kazan (Russia), and Slavyansky Bazaar is a festival that takes place in Vitebsk, in the Republic of Belarus, one of the former Soviet republics, like Dimash's homeland, Kazakhstan. On the day of the concert, July 18, I could not come to Vitebsk, although I live 165 kilometers away, in Mogilev, because I had a big celebration in honor of my birthday. There is another video to this song that's a take from the movie I believe. It's very cool. However, I love this performance as well. True he didn't need that much reverb or maybe none at all but I'm not sure any audio engineer could ever make Dimash sound bad. LOL After all, he is Dimash the Great!

Thanks for your reaction by the way these are full notes not folsetto notes. When Dimash reaches the soprano octave, he uses both chest and head voices just like a soprano even better couse he reaches the colorotur soprano voice. Those who use falsetto only use the head voice, so they can't hit full notes. It may be so for other mens, but Dimash is an exception. While studying classical music at the university, he worked as a soprano for a while because the number of sopranos was low. We are talking about such a man here.

Pierguiseppe Zaia is an Italian director, writer, producer, and composer. this song was written for an Italian movie " Creators--The Past" and he thought he would have to hire 3-4 singers to do this song. One of his producers told him to call Dimash, and the rest, as they say, is history. You must look at the video, there are two, less reverb.
