Hi Chris, I guess I'm one of those who at first was a bit put out by the slowness of this, but of course, I was watching a reaction video with interruptions. This video from Lieben-Toten has made me realise how much being there in the moment must have made this an incredible experience, and I really enjoyed it and can see how great this performance is. I only hope Angelina comes to London, UK soon.

I wish every Angelina angel will be able to see Angelina in concert. I was in the 5th row at this concert and this song was easily my favorite vocal performance I had heard live in concert. No recording can fully capture Angelina's voice and how it impacts you.

I was maybe 15 feet away from her throughout the night, and Angelina’s voice just melted me through most of the 18 songs that she sang for this concert. I can't believe I heard all of this live! It was my first Angelina Jordan concert, and her in-your-face emotive singing completely goes right through you, and it was difficult to find one without tears in their eyes for quite a few of the songs that she sang in Portsmouth, NH, at The Music Hall on 9-22-23. It was her first USA concert that was completely sold out! It was just an amazing time! ❤

I agree with Big Angie fan, Chris Walker, that this may be the finest performance of Angelina's live career. Not to say that others aren't fantastic as well, but seeing this in person was a whole different level. You could hear a pin drop during the entire performance except during applause and Angelina's voice filled the music hall. I had the good fortune to be there, living only 90 minutes from the venue! I am hoping there will be other opportunities to see Angelina live, and I'm sure it will happen in time. Thanks for a great reaction, peace and love.

No one can stretch the beauty and tone of a note like Angelina. It's so difficult to slow down a classic like this, live, and have it sound so touching and gorgeous. She poured every ounce of love and feeling into this performance. And her humility at the end was just so heartwarming. FYI there weren't supposed to be any recordings allowed, thus the combination of multiple recordings.
I was there. In tears as she sang. In fact, you see my Silohette in several places on the video as I sat directly in front of Chris and his wife who made this video. Every time I watch this video I tear up again. Absolutely fantastic performance! Angelina at her best!
Wonderful reaction. I also was blessed to be in Portsmouth for this stunningly beautiful performance. It really was art at its finest / most exquisite. You mentioned she sang the song the way it was meant to be sung - that is one of Angelina's most wonderful gifts. It's like there is an ideal way to sing any song, that is flowing out there in the universe, but very few can perceive it, immerse themselves in the stream, and then bring it back to earth and perform it in just the right way - but she can. She's done it any number of times. She's amazing. Anyone who can see her live in coming months and years, should do so.

She was mesmerizing.. I was there and you are so ight..This is the way it was meant to be sung .. A tender, aching and loving plea, "are you still mine? " It was like a communion ... it was religious .. tears on all faces...I am so happy I was there. .

It is so, so difficult to sing clearly at such a slow pace... It is really a thing Angelina is extremely good in. And I think she loves it to slow songs down: she has done that before.

I've enjoyed watching her since sh was 7 performing in Norway's Got Talent, which she won at the age of 8. She has 4 performances which you must watch. It's entertaining also to watch the judges expressions during the competition. You can go back further when Angelina perforns for the very first time in a studio singing I Who Have Nothing. English is her 3rd language yet she's reading the lyrics, at age of 6. Such an extremely talented young girl. My all time favorite though is I Put A Spell On You at age 9. Watch as she hands over her notes. Already doing her own arrangements. There's so much more for you to enjoy.
Angelina seems to slow most songs a bit. Like so many singers today they are trying to show off there range and go loud and louder as the meaning of the song gets lost . With these singers you hear their voice, but with Angelina you feel the Lyrics; you feel every word . Her voice reaches your very soul. Loved your reaction. Thank you . It is heartbraking and heartwarming the same time. All this passion and all that soul. This is the Angelina I love. And this is so much better than her own new songs, where I miss a big part of Angelina.
When she was much younger, her rendition 'at home' of this song was 'spot on' with regard to Bobby Hadfield's 'Gold Standard' rendition and I placed it as the 2nd best version I've ever heard. Burt now, she applies her Jazz roots to the song and overcomes musical accompaniment that wasn't 'spot on' for sure. Still, she is able to apply her musical magic to the song and had people standing and applauding vigorously at its ending.
Now that you’ve heard this, it would be great to see your reaction to her version of this song at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Kork a few days ago. She changes the energy of this iconic song in a wonderful way, and it evokes a different reaction for many. Angelina is the only artist under 18 years old who has been invited to sing at this prestigious event. The Righteous Brothers "just" covered it but most probably credit them as being the "original" due to the incredible solo by Bobby Hatfield. IMO, AJ's version, while perhaps less dramatic, conveys the meaning of the song better than he did ... still both are next tier performances.
Just compare this performance with what she did at 11 what she did at 11 with that adorable pure kiddo face with the flower on her hair to me was even better than the original but here I don't know what is going on with her I dare u watch and react to that one which I mentioned then u will see what I was talking about 👍👍💙💙💙
