As a Korean fan since debut, I probably can explain a lot. 2NE1 means 21 century's New Evolution. They're kind of a big sister and senior to Blackpink (same company, YG. YG has a lot of great singers including BIGBANG, WINNER, AKMU, Treasure. PLEASE check out BIGBANG too.. ) The girl who you said that can dance is Minzy, the youngest. She was only 15 when they debuted. The girl who was with the cards is Park Bom, one of the oldest member. She's the main vocal. The girl who you said she was familiar, is Park Sandara. She's the other oldest member, and the only member to stay after they were separated until she left YG. The girl with badass pants, is CL. She's leader, also a soloist now. You should check out her "The Baddest Female" "Hello Bitches". She also made a full-member performance after 6 years at Coachella 2022, with her own money. Fire's 2NE1's debut song and people still watching their live performance say that 2NE1 haven't had any back dancers but has the energy to cover it. And I personally recommend I don't care, Go away, Lonely, Ugly, I Love You, Falling in Love.

This was their first (debut) release, they won song of the year and best new artist that same year. This group, and this song in particular, were defined the "girl crush" style of kpop girl idol groups. Every girl group since has been influenced directly or indirectly by their existence. This song is the most widely known song in kpop, from the most important group. Definitely check out the 2011 and 2015 mama awards show performances. For a rapid education on the kpop trainer/idol industry, and how all this entertainment is made, I suggest watching the "21NE1 TV" series. They're available on RU-vid with eng Sub. Season 2 covers a lot. They came up in YG after Big bang, and you can learn about how they fit into the larger industry. G-dragon and TOP are both producers and had more than usual creative control with Big bang. 2NE1 was an experiment to expand the appeal and success of Big bang across the gender lines. The leader, CL (Lee Chaerin), has always been passionately involved in high fashion. She is now and has in the past represented multiple European fashion houses like moschino, Balenciaga, Gucci etc, and had a lot of influence over the costumes and stage concepts. Her solo career is important to follow, she is a maverick and is paving the way for Korean artists (NOT agencies) to work in US and Europe. By now everyone recommended you react Hello B**cheap, you should check out "5 Star, studio rap version" from CLs channel. Also see her live performance of +THNX190519+ on Heechols Sketchbook (the whole set is really good, and gives a good sense of where her head was at when she started producing Alpha) Minzy is youngest of the 4, primary dancer with a hip hop style, she is energetic and fast learner. Very driven to carry her weight and help the team, she has always worked hard to make her teammates proud. She started at 17 and was good, and then blossomed getting better every time they released a new single. She is amazing and owns a dance studio. Sandara Park, or Dara, was a few years older than the CL and Minzy. Dara had a career in the Philippines before 2ne1, she was the most popular and loved celebrity there. She was/is an actor, singer/dancer idol, fashion model, spokesperson and product representative. She is as well known in PH as maybe the Beatles or Michael Jackson. Anyway, she is often kind of minimized by fans as being the "visual" for the group. Actually, her contribution was much much bigger than that, she had years of experience with "how to do things" and internally group while CL made sure things got done. Park Bom was main vocal for the group with a unique voice and ability to sing emotions and feelings, she is an amazing human and deserves love. She was always the fierce protector of the younger girls and the group, and nurturing towards Minzy and Dara when they needed it the most. I've heard that fans called them "puzzles" because the 4 were like pieces that fit perfectly together and didn't work unless they were complete. This turned out to be very true. I became a blackjack after they disbanded, and it has been fascinating and fulfilling to learn their story. I believe they were extremely strong and extremely fragile at the same time. Take 1 away and it falls apart. I would love to see what concept and music they would produce without YG or anyone else interfering.

They are the OGs of kpop... The first hiphop girl crush group. The first girl group who had a world tour and open the opportunities for the next generation/s. Your fave one (the one in the motorcycle) is their leader CL. You should check CL's MV "Hello Bitches" and she released her other new songs Chuck, Lover like Me, Spicy. She is the baddest female kpop idol and no one can replace that. Better also watch their live performances namely MAMA 2011 and MAMA 2015, 2013 Olympic Seoul Stadium, Crush live performance. They are super well known of their live performances (no lipsyncs), charisma and stage presence. Dont expect choreography, sexy and cute poses from them.
