You just witnessed the greatest rock frontman of all time IMO, and i'm a massive Jim Morrison, Freddie Mercury, and Robert Plant fan but no one had charisma like Bon Scott.
The lead guitarist Angus Young, his biggest influence was Chuck Berry. ( one of the pioneers of rock in the 1950's & 60's) When you see Angus skipping across the stage, iit's kind of his tribute to Chuck.Chuck used to do a duck walk on stage
Great reaction Sarah plenty more from this concert up on youtube plus live in Paris 1979, Bad Boy Boogie, Sin City, Live Wire, Hell Ain't a Bad Place To Be, Shot Down in Flames and Problem Child just to name a few.
@SarahDengler Brian Johnston sounded very different with Geordie, his original band. When Bon Scott past away they couldn't find a replacement until someone mentioned Brian, and then they remembered Bon telling them to hire Brian should anything happen to himself. Story goes that Brian developed this " new" voice by deliberately trying to sound like Bon.
Excellent! Bon Scott will always be my favourite AC/DC front man and Angus, well he was born that way. When he was learning guitar as a kid, he broke his leg, or was it his arm 🤷♀️, anyway, he was bouncing around the lounge room with his guitar, practicing. When his older brother George and his band the easy beats became famous, Angus couldn't get past the cops guarding the house from screaming fans, when coming home from school. He tried to tell them that he lived there and one of the cops said, "That's what they're all saying". Lol 🤣
Lucky you. I seen them in 81 and 96. Tickets were high on the Rock or Bust tour. Closest they got to my area was 2 hours, and 200 a ticket. 😢didnt have the money at that time.
I feel a bit guilty about it, but I enjoy AC/DC. Y’know, some of the lyrics. But it’s so invigorating and full of life, like on steroids! I saw them live, and Angus Young came down the aisle on a roadie’s shoulders ripping on his guitar. He looked like a madman. Amazing band! Your reactions make it even more enjoyable. I’d love it if I had you with me at a concert!
Welcome (albeit belatedly) to the other dimension - hard out hard rock The drummer Phil Rudd is a fellow Kiwi (ie New Zealander) The rest of the band - Andy and brother Malcom - are kinda Aussies but actually Scottish immigrants since childhood
Love Bons version. ❤❤But the best live video of this song is Live at River Plate. Angus jamming for fifteen minutes while Phil just kills the drums like in this one. ❤❤thanks, enjoy, one of my many top songs.
@@kevinmcgeown9727 Exactly. I prefer RP because of Angus's performance I feel was better. If I wanna listen to it for the vocals, then I do prefer Bon on certain songs, and Brian on others. Thanks for your insight as well.
Hi Sarah, please consider adding Greta van Fleet to your list of rections. I don't think you have reacted to them yet. The song "Heat above" is a good starting point. Or really anything they compose.
This was awesome❤I have a good one for you. I haven't seen a reaction to this song...its "Cook With Fire" by HEART. If you don't know them, you should.🙂 They have many really good songs. Some of my favs are "Sing Child", "White Lightning and Wine", "Mistral Wind", "Cook with Fire" (#1). Let me know if you listen to any. Thanks❤❤❤
The name of the song is Let There Be Rock, not they totally the wrong pronoun, in some places in this messed up world it is against the law to use the wrong pronouns.😯
