Thank you for your reaction video and welcome to Angelina’s world. Angelina is Norwegian, her full name is Angelina Jordan Astar. Her father is Swedish, her mother is Norwegian from a Japanese father and Iranian Mother Mery Zamani who is a poet and a painter and was a child prodigy in her own rights. She started singing at the age of one and a half when she fell in love with Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”. A year later she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and showed lot of interest in artists like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, and Louis Armstrong. Angelina pestered her mother to enter her in “Simons Show” as she called it from the age of 3. Her mother relented and entered her in Norway Got Talent at the age of 7 where she auditioned with Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday. She went ahead to win the the big prize at the finals where she received 46% of the votes while the remaining 9 finalists combined received 54%. Angelina said she likes singing because she wants to bring joy and love to the whole world. One of her dreams from a very young age was to sing at the Nobel Peace Prize concert. She accomplished that at the age of 8 singing Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World. After winning NGT, she was flooded with offers from major music labels as well as Disney but they were all turned down by her and her family in order for her to continue her education and to protect her artistic integrity. Her uncle/manager in an interview last year he talked about music labels top executives who would fly to Norway on private jets with huge contracts offers but would leave mad and frustrated because they never expected being turned down. Angelina is fluent in Norwegian as well as in English. She also speaks some Swedish which is very close to Norwegian and probably learned it from her father. She also speaks Farsi which she learned from her grandmother as well as some Japanese that she picked up from her grandfather as well as her mom and uncle who lived for a period of time in Japan. She actually performed a Japanese song at a concert in Japan. Most of her performances after NGT were for charitable children organizations where she helped to raise millions. At the age of 6 and while travelling in another country with her family, she came across a young orphaned shoeless girl who was weighing people on a bathroom scale for some coins in order to support herself and her siblings. After chatting with her for a while and without prompting from her family, she gave her shoes to the orphan girl. She recorded that incident in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot when doing that in public to remember that girl and to remind herself and us about the many needy children around the world. At the age of 9 she wrote and published a book about that encounter making her Norway’s youngest published author. Proceeds from that book are donated to children charities. Angelina Jordan has about 140 songs in her repertoire. Late last year she signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. Her versatility is unmatched. She sewed that outfit herself from fabric printed with designs painted by her grandmother, a famous Iranian artist, Mery Zamani, well-known in Norway. She was a child protege herself, writer of poetry at a very early age. In case you noticed the woman who stood up and cheered at the end of Angelina's performance, that was her grandmother. In this performance, she stands about 6' tall, but now she's said to over 6'1". As to her being barefoot, she doesn't wear shoes because once she was traveling and she saw a kid without shoes. She asked her parents why that kid didn't have shoes and they explained some kids are to poor to buy shoes. She gave that kid her shoes. Now she sings barefoot to bring awareness to the needs of poor children. She also made the outfit she's wearing, which is printed with images of her grandmother's art. 🥰 In the front row you can see from left to right, her grandmother, mother, and younger sister. 😊

Angelina Jordan is a music prodigy she started singing at age of 1.5 years and more than that she started with Billy Holiday Jazz. Angelina speaks 3 languages, designs her own clothes, and has written a very popular book called "Mellom to hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) a story about why she wears no shoes during her performances, and like her name she truly is an angel with a heart of gold. Angelina won Norway's got talent she started the competition at 7 years old and won at 8 years old. Her younger years before age 13 she was watched over by her mother (Sara) and her Uncle who just wanted her to grow up normal. Her mother and uncle Turned down almost 90% of all requests for her to perform but even so from age 7years to 12 years old or so, she has been all over the world (Mother never more than a breath away) Angelina has produced over 130 covers, and she makes all of them her own, all of which will astound you. New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. Angelina's mother is Norwegian, her father is from Sweeden The artist grandmother (Mery Zamani) on her mother's side is from Iran and her grandfather (recently deceased) from Japan both grandparents are very involved with Angelina's growing up, Angelina's song a million miles is about losing her grandfather. Although Angelina didn't win AGT champions 2021 she was signed to Republic record label and is producing new music 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Save the world shes on her way to a world market that I'm sure she'll dominate.

Angelina is a musical genius who learned singing with Jazz at a very early age thanks to her grandma Mery Zamani, a renamed Iranian painter and poet, who introduced her to Jazz playing her collection of Jazz recordings. Then she listened to all great classic singers searching in RU-vid like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, but also Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley. She arranged the songs she covers (+ 130) since at last she was 7 years old and participated to NGT. Often her covers are better than the originals or the best rendition of it. She won NGT singing Jazz: "Gloomy Sunday" (audition) and "I'm a fool to want you" (a capella) by Billie Holiday, "Bang bang" By Nancy Sinatra and "Summertime". She released 5 originals: "7th Heaven", "Million Miles", "Shield ", "Oslo" and "What is life". She is also a compassionate person who cares about children in needs and environment.

Howie's words after the song were prophetic. So many people wanted to know who this Angelina was, to have given such a mature and extraordinary performance. In turn, we all fell down the rabbit hole. She was/is self-taught prodigy with a surreal wisdom for her craft out of keeping with her contemporaries. Angelina fans (aka angels) have watched her earliest performances in Norway when she was 7, to the present time.
