She did this song this summer at a classic Norwegian outdoor concert, now a full-blown 16-and-a-half-year old, but she was holding a microphone. The hand gestures she unconsciously employs in this clip to emphasize the emotion of the song were simply not available - it was a much more subdued version, but no less impressive. Also, she is just beginning to grow into her pre-teen growth spurt in this clip. Her hands (and likely her feet as well) are enormous compared to the rest of her but, unlike most pre-teens, she does not seem awkward at all, manipulating these temporarily-outsized limbs. They just obey her, adding to the emotions she pours into the song. Furthermore, she did this in one karaoke-style take, doing things WH normally did not do outside the magic of a studio setting.

You should listen to AJ sing It’s a man’s world, she shows so much power in this song blows me away. Check out the live version at a outdoor concert. I think she’s only 12 when she sings this song.

Her versatility with different register singing, as well as different genres, is unmatched by any singer ever. After hearing her do 'Whitney' here, go to the lowest of continuously low registers imaginable when she does the gospel classic 'How Great Thou Art' where she sounds like Elvis.

I have teared up many times listening to this cover by Angelina. Some people say “how could a girl so young sing with such feelings” and then chalk it up to reincarnation. Maybe there’s some truth to that, but there are some lines in that song that sound like the feelings of a tiny baby for its mother: “Don’t walk away from me. I have nothing if I don’t have you.” Is there a more overwhelming emotional experience than that? If you’ve ever been really heartbroken, you know that no matter how old you are, you can still feel those infant emotions.

one major thing to know about this recording, WHITNEY took several tries and recordings spliced together to get the final product. yes it was perfection, BUT, ANGELINA did this in one shot !!!!!!!!!!!!! was it perfection, no but very damn close !!! this was done in early 2019 right after her 13th birthday !!! WHITNEY was almost 30 !!!

Whitney was 29 when she recorded this with a full studio production and it took her over 20 takes to get it where she wanted ! The Barefoot Princess recorded this around her 13th birthday whether before or after her birthday is up for debate. However the video was not posted until 2 months after her 13th birthday and what is truly amazing is that Angelina did this with nothing but a backing track IN JUST ONE TAKE!! One of the VP's at Republic Records ( where AJ is signed ) said that were only 3 artists that he had ever worked with that could record a song in one take - Beyonce , Sam Smith and Angelina !! Pretty good company to be in !!

G, the day is coming. Very soon. We love her so much we remain patient for that special day when the announcement is made that she is going full steam ahead with her career! I hope she comes out with albums one after another because there is so much for her to record on them. In my opinion she is the best singer I have ever heard in my life and I've been around the block a few times. I tear up every time I hear her sing. Who else can do that to me? No one. It's been said that AJ performed this in response to those who said she could not belt or hit the high notes. She pretty much showed she can do whatever any song reguires. Some voice analysts point to minor flaws but miss that at 13 she sang parts of the song WH often did not sing live but mostly in studio recordings with all the magic that allows.

Whitney Houston was 28 years old when she recorded this song and Angelina is either 12 or 13 years old in this video.

In the years that I have been following Angelina, I have seen two different thoughts on how old she was when this was recorded. One side says she was still 12 when it was recorded, and others say she had just turned 13, as the video was posted in early March. I myself have never seen anything definitive either way, but I think it would be safe to say it was done within a month either way, of her 13th birthday. That being said, it is a remarkable tribute no matter what her age was. Oh, you should check out her newest cover of "My Funny Valentine" that she did on Valentines Day as a Thank You to her Angels. Good or bad or not, Angelina seems to have far more versatility than any other singer in the history of the world. Not better than one or the other, she just has the ability to changer her tember, her timbre, her tone, her phrasing, and her voice. I am sure it is deliberate on her part to sing as close to the original singers of the songs she has sung. Her version of Lord Thou Art, (as sung by Elvis Presley), is a prime example.
