ATEEZ has his own sound that we can realized oh this is so ATEEZ. Yet their discography are diversify and versatile. Listen to Don't Stop, The Real, Rocky, Wonderland, Hala Hala, Dejavu, Guerrilla, Halazia. You cant find the similarity of the music but the sound are so ATEEZ, the way production team arrange the music, the last 30s signature (their nickname by knetz), the anthemic sound. If you listen to them more, your reaction will be "oh yes. This is SO ATEEZ". And yes, they have rapline - Song Mingi and Kim Hong Joong. The main vocalist, Choi Jong Ho known as the best 4th gen vocalist. They are the only group that have 'demon line' coz when they perform live on stage, they are kinda got possesed and turn as a demon performer. You can check on yt or tt about this. They known for their stage presence. I recommend you to watch their Kcon LA performance, Kingdom show and Immortal Song. Where they had sing and perform live.😊
Well, one of the groups you mentioned got me into Kpop. But Ateez snatched me so hard I blacked out. And the thing is I can't even look back or stan another group. The power Ateez hold is just out of this world. The vocals are chefs kiss. The rap, chefs kiss. And the stage presense is simply out of this world. No one is touching them on that. Also, hearing one Ateez song and drawing a conclusion on them shouldn't even happen. Ateez's discography is a whole cocktail even though they have their own sound (what people call the "Ateez sound"). And hands down one of the best if not the best in Kpop. Ateez are simply in their own lane. They don't do what everyone else does and that's how they had all of me. I love " unique". No one is touching them. And their new album? The production is out of this universe. Bouncy isn't even my favorite on it even though it's catchy. The bsides are illegally good.
I would say Ateez is one of my top K-pop groups. Going in I only knew one song Guerilla( there is definitely more rapping in that song) and I went to one of their concerts last year and left a lifelong fan. They have such a presence. I've been seeing their journey now and they are really coming into their own. This whole new album Outlaw is great. Bouncy isn't my favorite song from that album but it's the most catchy which is why it makes a great title track. Some songs I think you could really enjoy that are some of my favs going into learning them are : Guerilla, Halazia, Hala Hala, New World. They are really talented men. Great dancers, singers, rappers, you can tell these guys like each other. Mingi's rap voice is so unique sounding, he's really starting to gain my attention. Hongjoong with the blue hair is the Leader and main rapper as well. Hopefully you guys can enjoy some of their other songs. But respectfully you don't have to like them.
Absolutely love that you're getting into Ateez and yes they are so amazing, they are my ult group along with BTS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Mingi is the main rapper, Hongjoong is lead , and Seongwha is a sub rapper.
If you’re looking for Stray Kids 2.0 you won’t find it with Ateez. The groups are different. However their two rappers are extremely good rappers. I’m more drawn to vocals but I enjoy HJ and Mingi’s raps styles a lot. You didn’t seem all that engaged with Bouncy probably because I think you were expecting Skz. Songs I suggest you check out: Fireworks Hala Hala Halazia Geurrilla Answer Deja Vu The Real Wonderland I also suggest you watch some of their live performances. Ateez strengths are in their performance-each song is like watching a mini musical or painting come to life. I also suggest you watch and listen for the Ateez sound-which is always there across various genres rather than for Ateez to have somebody else’s. If they aren’t for you-then they aren’t.
You didn't seem to engage much during the video with the music or the MV content in terms of analysis or reaction. Ateez do so many genres, sometimes multiple in one song and are somewhat experimental with it as well. Maybe you would like Wake Up, Dune, The Leaders, The Ring, Don't Stop or Hala Hala. But the group is not strictly hiphop and there are more vocalists than rappers. And they don't prioritize rapping over the singing or vice versa. The main two rappers up until now have been Mingi and Hongjoong with Seonghwa doing vocals mostly and some rap. (Seonghwa rapped more on the most current album.) They are also out of this world when it comes to live stage performance.
Another thing about Ateez is that almost all of their songs and music videos are part of a larger, anime like storyline where Ateez are pirates that can use a magic hourglass to travel through time and across dimensions looking for treasure, having adventures, and fighting bad guys. Each of their albums is labeled with a chapter name and an episode name and number. In each chapter Ateez visits a different Alternate Universe or time period.
Thanks for the react but please don't expect Ateez to be like Stray Kids or anyone else. Ateez are a high energy, theatrical group with outstanding live vocals but the rappers are great too because they have distinct tones which I prefer as someone that grew up on chopped and screwed rap. Mingi is deep and gravelly. Hongjoong is high pitch and nasally. If you want more hip hop then Ateez b sides. Ateez title tracks generally support a very strong story line and world vision . That vision isn't wrapped around in hip hop. They dabble in rock, trap, edm, rnb, country, etc but the story line is mainly the focus. I suggest the Hala Hala full performance mv as there is also a Hala Hala 3D teaser which is actually amazing, the teaser is only 1:28 seconds, To The Beat, Don't Stop, The Leaders, Dune, Win, Halazia, Thanxx, Fireworks, Guerrilla {rock/ hip hop}.
You guys might like their song Guerrilla. Plus the music video is pretty cool. Their main rapper, HongJoong doesn’t even rap in Bouncy because one of their vocalists (who had originally trained as a rapper) wanted to try rapping on that track. So Hongjoong sings the chorus instead.

ateez r one of my fave kpop groups, they r soo talented and amazing live performers and also apart from bts and skz, they have one of the best rap lines.
With Ateez, it's a mission of love. Their discography, song patterns and performances are too intricate to start at the end..It's heavy on the lore and storytelling. It's alot of musical exploration and artistic expression. And they do rap, however they do not have units, per say, because in Ateez * 8 makes 1 team*.. It's Ateez as in A to-> Z everything from a to z.. Comparing Ateez with Straykidz is like apples and peaches..Both f delicious but different flavors. Thank you for your time.
I hope you listen to more Ateez since virtually every one of their title tracks is in a different style, not to mention b-sides. At the same time a friendly suggestion to maybe pay more attention to whatever you're reacting to since this song had 3 rappers, all in a different style, and you only registered one.
It is ok if you don't like this song. I would like to recommend their song "The leaders", ""Win", "To the Beat", "The Real" , "Halazia" and "Hala Hala". Try to watch their performance. Trust me their performances are fire especially "Wonderland" stage on that show Kingdom.
Lol wrong song if you want to check out their rappers 😂 Mingi (cowboy in the bar) is a main rapper and the other main rapper Hongjoong (cowboy on the roof) only does the chorus. “Slow it down make it bouncy” which sounds so good imo! He has no rap verse in this song which is rare. Seonghwa (rapper on the motorcycle) usually does vocals so for us Atinys it was a nice change up to see him rapping. Especially since he was originally supposed to be a part of the rap line but ended up in the vocal line. If you like K-pop rapping (emphasis on fast rapping) then I don’t think ATEEZ will be your taste. Mingi and Hongjoong are more melodic with emphasis on flow/cadence. Same with GDragon and TOP from BigBang. I would also put BTS in this category. Especially Suga. All 3 groups can and have rapped fast at times but that’s just not their thing. ATEEZ and BB are my ult groups cause I honestly prefer their style of rapping cause it’s more familiar to me since I grew up on American hip hop. I suggest you check out some of their songs that have more Mingi and Hongjoong. Just be aware that even though the rappers are very good their vocalists are also very good so you will always hear vocals in their songs. They don’t have any songs that are just the rappers. I’m with you on the rap preferences. I often see a lot of G Dragon in Hongjoong. I also think Mingi and Hongjoong in Answer are fire. Their exchanged/harmony rap in that song gets me every time.

I love their raps in Answer cause they are more toned down and shows how really versatile they are. They can truly rap on any beat! Yes HJ is GD son and nobody can tell me any different! Both are my biases. I would love to see some HJ/MG solo songs like GD/TOP did Zutter or Knockout! The way HJ/MG switch back and forth in Treasure with their different vocal tones and styles would be so dope on a solo track!
I would recommend ‘The leaders’ and ‘to the beat’ Ateez only has 2 official rappers. 3 if you count Seonghwa but im not sure that thats official yet. But its really their only songs that has a more hip hop feel and they’re really good. It just has no music video so you would either have to react to it live or the lyric video

ATEEZ stands for A to Z, as in they have everything, so it's pronounced like the letter name A + tease. ATEEZ are known for their live performances, genre mixing, and their youngest who is widely considered the best male vocalist of the 4th gen. If they finish a song and it feels like something they've done before, they throw it out, so if only a narrow selection of music styles fit your taste, you'll enjoy the songs they have in that style, but they'll never be the group for you because their discography has a lot of variety. I suggest the other two title tracks from this series, so you can get a feel for what I mean. Guerrilla from the first EP of The World, has more hip hop, but it has a few surprises too (it also has verses from both of their main rappers unlike this one). Halazia which was part of a spin-off goes an entirely different direction. I'd be curious as to your opinion. They are very committed to their storyline. The World series is set in a dystopian world where the government has banned art and anything that invokes emotion. I read a comment once that said if Stray Kids are the band kids making beats in the back of the class, ATEEZ are the theater kids using the front as their stage. I thought it was an good analogy which highlights their differences. ATEEZ are musical storytellers, and they're really good at it. Thanks for the reaction!

You were completely talking out your ass. It's alright, it made me laugh - one of those throw your head back and cackle laughs. Bobby is in ikon, but I like his solo stuff better. I think G-dragon was in Big Bang, but he might not be anymore...hollup, google is a thing...no, that was T.O.P. who left. Hollup, is, incidentally, my favorite Bobby song to drive to. Ateez took a while to grow on me also - I was drawn into kpop by stray kids, and ateez is definitely different. It's good music to pretend you're doing something epic to, when in reality you're just cleaning the bathroom or something.
Thank you for the react but Ateez is not like Stray kids. They have a story line unlike many acts who just put out songs. Yes, they have some hip hop but they don't stick with one genre nor do we want them to. If you want the same style, do stick with the people you already like. Since kpop is highly saturated, you can def find more groups like Stray kids. Ateez is mf EPIC!!!!!!!!!! Check out Mist,Lights,Utopia,Desire,Dazzling light. It has usher-tyrese-the weekend vibe. They have different sounds and they experiment genre. Their leader rapper and lyricist influence is mostly rock. But they’re still young so their generation still has impact in their songs like EDM,hip hop ,psychedelic,r&b and 80s wave. Their song wonderland and Fireworks has more Depeche Mode and tears for fears vibe! Their music is the best and hella different!!!

ATEEZ is the chillest 4th gen kpop boy group ive ever known. Chill but powerful, a strong opponent. They arent 4th Generation's God of Performance for nothing. Stage presence-wise. Versatile. so its funny if someone compare them to other groups like you dont know who REALLY is ATEEZ 🙃

I'm late, but if you prefer more hip-hop and trap, try The Ring, Wake Up, Dune, The Leaders, and To The Beat. Maybe Outlaw and Django. Ateez isn't your average Kpop group. If you'd describe them in one word, it's cinematic. Their production is melodic and grand. If John Wick went to Seoul and had a club shootout, Ateez would be the background music. Hard edm, lots of complex synth production, big stadium vibes, anthems, and ost/film score music. Tbh, Stray Kids can't hold a candle to Ateez. Their lead producer, Eden, is the best in the industry. No contest. I love Bang Chan, but Eden and his crew are on some godly shi. I'd also rec Cyberpunk, New World, This World, and Halazia. They aren't as hip-hop driven, but those tracks showcase the sheer epicness of their production. Bouncy is mid. Don't let that song be your impression of Ateez. Their sound design is untouchable and easily the best Kpop group around right now. They have the best male vocalists of the 4th gen, they are the best performers of 4th gen, their rappers are only second to Changbin, and the production has a level of polish that's unrivaled. Ateez will take you to a place you've never experienced before in pop music. Just let it happen. 🤣🫰
@@emmylia Bouncy was the weakest track on the album. Not sorry. It has one of the best chorus drops of any Ateez song, but the rest of the track is messy and kinda all over the place. If you listen to it objectively, it's nowhere near their best production. It's still a decent song and I'd rate it highly for a title track, but Ateez can and have done way better. That's why I consider Bouncy mid. And mid for Ateez is better than the S-class songs of most other groups- whoops. See what I did there? 🤣

I think Ateez are always better live and best watched in the full cam version. This choreo is super simple compared to others but that was the intent. Their goal was to create a song that anyone could sing and dance to. Very unique for them because most of their songs are hard vocally and with the dances.
Also I recommend reacting to their first dance video before they were ateez called kq fellas p1. It's fire. Theor literally known I'm kpop to be some of the best performers. Cuz they don't play bout performance

yeah it was cool just a bit all over the place and a lot going on, i feel that stray kids does the organized chaos the best. ateez is more cyberpunk esque but it doesnt fit everyones vibes
@@emmylia i liked it but the switches were rlly fast for example mingi vs seonghwas raps or jonghos high notes. it felt like 10 different songs and was hard to follow. some people want a song to flow more consistently and this one was pretty inconsistent. again i liked the uniqueness but i see why it’s not the style that everyone likes

For this song Hongjoong sang the first and second chorus instead of doing a rap verse. Off of this album (The World: Episode 2) I think you would prefer their b-sides: Outlaw and Django more. The song may be more mainstream pop sounding, but the MV is heavy in ATEEZ lore, as they are telling a full story throughout their MVs and albums. They release trailers for their MVs to provide context about what's going on. Other ATEEZ song recommendations that probably will intrigue you more are: HALAZIA; Guerrilla; HALAHALA; The Leaders; Thankxxx; Don't Stop; Paradigm. Like most k-pop groups they have a distinct sound but their discography includes songs that fall into a ton of different genres.

Idk what songs did you listen to, but Ateez is definitely not a "very noise music" group. They're one of the most diverse group out there in terms of discography!
BIGBANG is 2nd gen and IKON is 3rd gen. Btw, i don't think ATEEZ music are noise music. If you listening to their songs closely, you'll hear that each one of their songs really well produced and unique. But it's understandable that their music might be not everyone cup of tea
