@@m.ericwatson968 yeah but unless your listening to the Beatles or something you’re not “missing half the song”. Most drums, bass and vocals are down the middle, and nothing has been panned 100% hard left or hard right since the 50’s.

Beasties are among best beat flippers in the genre's history. Every track on Paul's Boutique is the ultimate example and when Mike came aboard their live shows were ALL about the flips

Not only did they have the best beats, they legit played them. Most of the tracks on Check Your Head and beyond are made up of The Boys playing their own instruments

The Beasties write most of their songs like science. They all start with a BPM (beat per minute count) and that is why the music may flip slightly from MC to MC. All three have their own flows.

old school is the best school. btw, people used to put panty hose over the mic if they couldn't afford a proper wind screen to smooth out the sound. I could never decide if that line means they got the money now to record right, or if they always keep it raw and don't care about that sort of thing. I never thought the panty hose were worn by anybody... but hey, it takes all kinds to make a world!
