He'll yeah....70s Philly sound....Blue Magic has a HUGE catalog.....they were compared to the Stylistics who were big at that time....Stylistic were bigger because they crossed over to the pop charts but Blue Magic was on heavy rotation on black radio at the time.....great reaction

I can relate. But…music is a representation of the era and people that create it. When you look at the chaos that has gone into making today’s world??: it’s no wonder that today’s music reflects the chaotic state of the people who create it. It’s not their fault. But…you would think that, (after listening to the music of their grandparents) they would realize this. You can’t expect the same generation that produced N.W.A, Niki Minaj and Migos to produce music like this. However…I would hope that they come to realize that music comes from within. And…if you love the music that was created 50 years ago?!? Then “maybe” you should look at the conditions that allowed that music to be born. However…YOU might have to change. And nobody wants to do that.

Ted "Wizard" Mills is on the lead. Trivia: The late Randy Cain of the Delfonics introduced Ted to WMOT(We Men of Talent) Records, and the rest was history, one of the best Falsettos out there. My favorite song by them is "Chasing Rainbows."

Music was very different in our day. Women were put on pedestals in the love songs. Women were not as forward as they are now, so we had to talk. We called it “ rapping” to a girl. You asked for their phone numbers and they waited for you to call. I went to college in 72 and noticed that the women from New York and Jersey were more aggressive but they were nothing like the young women of today. That is why I don’t understand these incels and the Kevin Samuels crowd. These guys have it much easier than we did. But you have to be about something. You should check out “The Makings of You” by Curtis Mayfield and “This Is Your Life” by Billy Paul.
