Bob Dylan is a great singer songwriter poet. His music has been recorded by so many artists. Peter, Paul & Mary do a great version of "Blowin' In The Wind". The group the Byrds did a few of Bob Dylan's songs such as "Mr. Tambourine Man" & "All I Really Want to Do". Some of Bob Dylan's early hits were "The Times They Are a-Changin'", "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall", "It Ain't Me Babe" etc. Dylan co-founded the supergroup the Traveling Willburys in 1988 with George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison & Tom Petty.

His lyrics have such deep poetic meanings there are college courses on dissecting his songs. In this one the person has gone from rich and important to a nobody. Her life is now upside down and she has to come off her " high horse" so to speak and be an ordinary, non important person like the ones she used to have no use for.

Dylan and Johnny Cash absorbed the punches but kept on truthin' anyway. No shooting stars, these gents are fixed stars in the musical heavens, and will be shining down for ages to come.

Legendary performer and song writer. I remember listening to this song back in the 60’s. The music is great and love the organ in the background. I must say you are my favorite reactor Stan and I’ll tell you why. You allow the music to play till the end unlike most other reactors who feel the have to interrupt every 10-15 seconds with nonsense. Your able to hear it and then give you opinion which I like. I’m an old guy that loves oldies from back in the day. Keep up the good work and thx.

To understand Bob Dylan of the 60s you have to understand the complete divide that happened at the time between the youth and the older generation, the "establishment". Dylan was a poet, a minstrel, for the younger generation and many of his songs of that time was a comment on the times.

Dylan and Cash knew each other going back to the early 60s, and did some work together on Dylan's Nashville Skyline album in, I believe, 1969. There were a number of songs they recorded together which did not make it onto the album, some of which you can find on RU-vid. When Dylan had his 30th anniversary concert, Cash performed at it for him - along with many others.

Yes, Dylan has a deep rabbit hole with many good choices for where to go next. "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" may be the one that best demonstrates his lyrical skills. "Subterranean Homesick Blues" bombards you with imagery and sounds like it could be a predecessor to rap. "Visions of Johanna" and "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" are 2 of my personal favorites. "Only a Pawn in Their Game", "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll" and "Hurricane" are anti-racism songs. I wouldn't normally recommend this, but since you mentioned Johnny Cash, Dylan recorded a song with him: "Girl From the North Country", the version from the Nashville Skyline album.

Okay, I am really curious... what is the deal with reaction video creators and the epidemic of Unnaturally Overblown Amazement Thumbnail Reaction Face? I see that many of the reactors suffer from this affliction, though thankfully many don't. I know it probably sounds like I'm making a big deal over nothing, but hear me out. I was pleasantly surprised that your reaction seemed sincere and honest. I say "surprised" because I half expected you would be making such insincere faces as the one in the thumbnail. Instead you were just grooving along to a decent old Dylan tune, and gave your personal thoughts afterward, which was cool, and you thankfully never made the face once. So what is the purpose of putting such a goofy, cartoonish, unnatural reaction face in the thumbnail? Does this actually bring in viewers? It usually has the opposite effect on me, it discourages me from watching, because I figure I am unlikely to see a sincere reaction, based on the thumbnail. As good as Dylan and this song it, almost nobody would naturally have such a facial expression in reaction to this song, or most songs for that matter.

This is where the group Rolling Stones got their name from and this is where the Rolling Stones magazine get their name from Bob Dylan

I think actually it was a Muddy Waters song that inspired the band's name. However, the saying, "a rolling stone gathers no moss" is as old as the hills. Dylan has influenced many writers, singers and groups, but, in this case, I've read more than a couple of times that it was a Muddy Waters song. It's easy enough to look up, but, just thought I'd share. All the best.
