Dude, I know what it's like; when I was 13 I came down with Diabetes, when I was 14 I lost my brother, 2 years later I lost my cousin, and then when I was 18 I lost my Dad, they were all killed without alcohol involved, I thought I would go in my 20's but today I'm 53....I just got a new kidney so I feel like I'm 21 again....

Let's start with this: I was sick and puking up blood from drinking so much everclear, and I was thoroughly miserable. But I had Netflix going and Big Mouth was playing, so I was kinda halfway listening to that. For anyone who's never watched Big Mouth, it's one of the most depraved cartoons ever produced, and in the back of my mind I was wondering what the heck was going to happen next. What happened next was the end of the first episode of the second season, and during the credits they played this song. I hadn't heard the song since 1993. I got myself sitting up somehow and found the song on RU-vid. That's when all of the memories came sailing back to me, and I sat there like an alcoholic who had just finished his third bottle of everclear for the day. To say that it didn't make water fall out of my eyes would be a lie, because water DID fall out of my eyes. I kept thinking of my brothers in arms who had suicided themselves, and I felt myself getting angry, too... But this song is such an unbridled masterpiece of harmonic arrangement, and using only voices, a guitar, a piano, drums, bass... All would have taken away from the song. It is one of my favorite songs now oddly enough, because every time I hear it all I can think about is SUICIDE. To my brothers, who I tried many times to join in eternal oblivion, but I suck at suicide because I kept being alive after six attempts: Jerral Johnson Jim Bob Kemph Joe Dale St. John Marty Banks And One woman, the wife of Jerral - Sheryl Swain. I don't know why most of you chose to do what you did to yourselves, but each one of you took a large chunk of my heart with you when you left the world. And that's a hard thing to live without - about half of a heart.
