This reaction touched me. You said it perfectly about them caring about us so very much and making sure we know it, which is reminiscence of them not wanting to tell us that they needed a break. This song definitely hits hard. I love the message of not giving up because I know many times I have wanted to in my own life and more than just throwing my hands up. Their message of if you cant fly, run, cant run, walk, cant walk, crawl. No matter what it takes just dont give up. Oh and one thing, the people in black are supposed to be the haters and you know how Jimin gets shot, I think Taehyung as well, I read that they choose Jimin for that because of how much hate gets pointed his way, death threats etc. I just love them so much!

FAN FACT!!! In this clip, among the backup dancers, you can notice Lee Know from Stray Kids, in the past he was a backup dancer and even participated with BTS on a world tour! That was before he joined Stray Kids.

I suffer from depression and some days it's hard to even get out of bed and brush my teeth, last week I had a particularly bad day and I was about to let it get the better of me... But i swear to you I put this song on and it gave me the strength to get out of bed and get ready to face the day, just the opening lines where RM says today we fight...it made me feel stronger, I hope our boys know how much their music helps us. It is so nice to see a reactor who really, TRULY is touched by BTS and understands who they are behind their music. You are such a treasure, and your kind and genuine heart belongs in the Army! Since you love the inspirational songs so much, you HAVE to check out their song Tomorrow if you haven’t already. Suga wrote it at a time where BTS were struggling, and it’s an anthem about how even though today may suck, your Tomorrow doesn’t have to if you just keep moving forward and working towards a brighter future. I’m going through a very rough time right now, and the first time I heard the song I cried like a baby, so fair warning to you on that! But the song really gives me so much hope, and it’s my go-to when the world just feels hopeless. There’s no music video, but their live stage of this song is the way to go. I can't wait to see your reaction when you finally react to We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal sometime in the future. You have still have a long way to go in order for you to comprehend and see the references the MV has. That's one of my top 3 songs that pulls on my heart strings. Agree that Luke's reaction to The Eternal will be epic. But yeah, he definitely needs to have seen all the videos/songs referenced first (at least a vast majority of the major ones), to truly understand WHY that song is so meaningful to BTS & ARMY.

Not today is such a great song and the mv is so beautiful and you can see the story they are telling thru it. The message is basically to never give up no matter how hard something is and to never let your dreams die as if you work hard you will do it, also i love Jimins cotton candy pink hair in this mv aswell as his high note. Also im every video Jimins style is amazing and he always looks kool in what ever he wears, Jimin is my fashion icon and inspiration

A few years ago I had to present to some senior staff to prove the value of my position at the company. I pumped NOT TODAY before I presented. During the entire meeting, I took the energy I gained from the song and felt unstoppable. Let's just say, no one questioned me or my position when I was done. 😋

I’ve been thankful for the boys ever since they found me. I’m an aspiring writer and I’ve been working on a book which I had the initial concept since I was 14 (2004) over the years I’ve done bits and pieces, but I hit a depressive slump about 4 years ago and had done NOTHING on it. In this past 6 months since they came into my life, I’ve started working on it again, at this stage I’m only working on world building and character development, but it’s more than I’ve done since 2018. Not only have they inspired me and given hope that I’ll publish it one day, but their personalities and own characters have given me a background of one of my characters that had none. I had no idea how to build his past but now, NOW I have enough to create a whole prequel to this story eventually. Even if they themselves never read it, I think now that I have the motivation (along with my passionate disgust for my current job) I will finish it and get it published it’s my goal for my 30s 💜

I have always found this song so inspirational. The lyrics are so powerful. It gives us the hope to push through hard times. When this first came out, I felt like they wrote this song for me! Every time I am struggling with life, I will put this on, turn up the volume and scream out the lyrics. It is like a kind of mental reset. 🤣🤣🤣. You should watch the making of MV on BangtanTV. The poor babies were so cold. It’s really interesting to watch the making of videos - it shows just how much work goes in to making these epic MV. Most of their songs have them. Would highly recommend. Once again mate, a fantastic reaction. Made my day.

So glad you reacted to this, one of my absolute favorites and one of the first MVs of BTS I saw. It still draws me in like no other. Did you realize this song follows Spring Day on the You Never Walk Alone album? Not Today is BTS 's answer to the question: so what do we do about the injustice of the Sewol ferry tragedy? How do we respond to the institutionalized pushback against seeking change? BTS gives us MLK 's stirring words and their own in an anthem for social activism. No wonder the Korean establishment has always looked sideways at BTS. And you're right, RM is awesome in the MV, truly the leader of a band of seven wolves as Hobi says. Aren't we glad they're on our side?

I totally agree with you! Part of the reason I consider myself an ARMY is because BTS feel genuinely grateful for their fans. I feel like some artist take fans for granted, but BTS love us just as much as we love them! It's honestly amazing. They have so many songs they made specifically for their fans! Like no other artist outside of K-pop does that! I also find it so touching that Jungkook LITERALLY has the fandom name tattooed on his hand. BTS are in this with us & it's such a great feeling.

I love the look on your face when they danced in a triangle on the "ice"! It mirrored my own the 1st time I saw this (then I showed everyone I knew: "just LOOK at that! Look how amazing and in sync they are! ") . And as to what you said in the beginning, in general all of their music helps me get through the day, especially since my husband of 30+ yrs died on Jan 1st of this year. But the other day I was driving home, feeling like shit, sobbing as I drove down our rural road, and this song came on. I started laughing through the tears and I'm all like, talking to myself in the car " fuck yeah boys. Not today!" And it did help me through that day. It was kinda amazing actually, because shortly after that " love myself" came on and at least for a bit that day, I felt like I could actually do this. That I wouldn't die, wouldn't just exist, but I would live on and even if I fail in my endeavors, I felt that at the least I wouldn't go down without a fight. Love your reactions 💜

When Russia invaded Ukraine, and Ukraine didn’t fold, this song is what played in my head. And the Ukrainians taking refuge in the subway and the image of J-hope’s birthday greetings just made me feel so much empathy for the Ukrainian BTS ARMYs who alway put on such huge displays for BTS members

This song has been my strength for the longest time. When life (or family) gets in the way of me feeling powerful, I play this loudly and it gives me the nudge I need to stand up for myself. TODAY WE FIGHT ! Yeah ! Such a good inspirational song. Sometimes I use it like a mantra, singing loud with the CD in my car, when I'm going at work, knowing that the day will be bad and harsh and I have to repeat for myself "if you can't fly, run, if you can't run, walk, if you can't walk, crawl" ... A quote by Martin Luther King and the conclusion is "whatever you do you have to keep moving forward". That's what I try to do, every day. BTS help me so much ! Their music, lyrics, their messages, their love, but also the exemple they give to us, keep moving forward inspite all the storms and bad things they have to go through. Theses guys are incredible, and so special, as you said. I'm 58 years old, and I have NEVER feel for any artist what I feel for BTS and the seven members, and no one has the same impact on me than they have - in my whole life. Personally my top song of BTS in my playlist, when I read the lyrics it made me cry bec I was at my lowest then when I watched this mv. Like you said the lyrics just hugs you. I'm working 10.5 hours a day getting back to life after cancer treatments and dealing with a stressful life. They just lifted me up and I'm so thankful to BTS, I'm in clinical remission. That's why I love them OT7 😍

Hi Lisa ~ I read your reaction to Luke watching Not Today by BTS. I was home this summer for about 6 weeks recovering from surgery for cancer. Watching BTS really helped me keep my mind focused on something other than my medical issues. I’ve been a fan for about 2 yrs, and I just love BTS. They are so awesome! I hope your remission continues! 💜

You hit the nail on the head. BTS gives so much more than they receive, and that's no shade on ARMY! ARMY loves BTS and is loyal to them BECAUSE we know how much BTS loves us and how hard they work. The one regret I have is that I did not know about BTS sooner. I just came to know about them in 2021. Jimin's "LIE" live performance was pushed to my feed on RU-vid. I watch dance videos, which is why Jimin's video was pushed to me. I could not believe the talent of this man. I loved his vocals and his dancing.....beyond words. I had to know who he was and.......bam....down the BTS rabbit hole I went. They are true humanitarians. If you look up "humanitarian," you will see a picture of BTS. They are pure souls. I cannot figure out how "haters" justify their hate when it comes to these young men. Ok, you may not like their music, but is that a reason to spew hate? Whenever I am feeling down, I binge BTS and the day is a little better. Thank you for your video.

I really hope to join you at some point for your livestreams but I work saturdays so miss them. I love your BTS reactions because you express how they make me feel too. As I dont have any mutual Army around its great to watch others love them too. I dont know why I love them so deeply - its not just their music and lyrics, theres something special about each member and somehow theyve come together and created this beautiful thing that is Bangtan Universe and ARMY 💜
