There are actually kpop idols who are forced to commit suicide because they can't handle all the hardships including the hate/controversies thrown on them. So this song is actually more than just a diss track. It's an eye opener to those haters who throw hate for fun.
@@echo6159 I agree with you. At the beginning I was surprised because everyone was throwing hate at him AND JHOPE who didn't do anything but give a like to Crush's apology on IG. I watched the video in which it was implied his "racism" but it didn't look like that to me. I saw people getting so raged at him, throwing hate all over and started to spread even false rumors just to realized at the end that the girl who started the fire is just a toxic problematic attention seeker. I felt bad for him because he had to put up with all the hate, despite the fact he didn't do anything wrong but worry about his fans.
@@0oHikari44o0 a quick possible misunderstanding (from someone who HAS done racist things in the past) compared to the serious mental health and constant bullying by media and citizens is much different. Bffr. Y'all cannot be serious crush and jhope were not that affected by this
@@0oHikari44o0 exactly, thank you 💜 it reminded me of what our boys have had to go through in the past and obviously still to this day. I was heartbroken for him. People, including ARMYs wanted to absolutely end him. He was on the Bangtan bomb asking ARMY to watch over him well and I saw so many disgusting things said by a lot of them. The hate our sunshine received was completely unwarranted, but then it always is! People/ARMY shouldn't rush to judgment and rage so easily. UGH!
The tragic events that happened in Kpop, were the suicide of the lead vocalist from the group SHINee in December 2017 and the suicides of two other young actress shortly after. I’m not sure if there were any other Kpop deaths, but all three of those deaths were linked to severe online bullying from haters towards performers who were already suffering from depression. Those deaths led to changes in Korean laws about cyber bullying, and now people who leave certain kinds of comments can be prosecuted under the law. Suga and singer IU honored their friends who had taken their own lives in their song Eight. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TgOu00Mf3kI.html
No no no. Jonghyun’ passed many years before this song and he did so due to his long time battle with depression. The incident this video is addressing is the suicide of Sulli, who took her life after enduring years of malicious hate comments and cyberbullying. The following suicide was Hara and she passed a few months later but that was again due to her mental health battles and the abuse she was enduring in a relationship at the time. I understand some ARMYs might not have been around during the time so they don’t have all the details but please try not to conflate the three. Each life was precious and deserves to be respected.
these tragic events don't only include idols but also actors and actresses. I remember when I was watching the kdrama "Love With Flaws" and hearing about Cha In Ha's death. 2019 was a heavy year for the Korean Entertainment industry, we lost 3 precious people in a span of 2 months because of hate comments, harassment and mental health.
they should since they claim it's now their favorite song. They should react to Ugh Busan Concert.... 50+million people watched the concert. We need them 2 added to that list of viewers :)
Today BTS announced they will all be serving in the Korean Army to fulfill their mandatory military service for 18-21 months. Jin will enlist after his solo is released at the end of October and the other members will enlist after their own individual activities. All members of BTS are expected to be done serving in 2025 and will reunite then. Show them all the love you can until they comeback as 7 again. Also check out their concert they just did in Busan, South Korea it was incredible and very emotional knowing it will be their last OT7 concert until 2025.
@@kkuznetsov2424 Here's a video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q_653LAeTtE.html about it and someone suggested NASA to add-in Moon by Jin.
South Korea is one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world, and they are very addicted to the internet. SK also has the highest suicide rate in the world. These two things go hand in hand because of an epidemic of cyber bullying. Many idols and actors in SK have committed suicide as a result of the online hate. This includes BTS’s friends and colleagues.
#bobbyrocksnasa I gotchuuuuu! their latest concert was insane, they performed this song live and the live band arrangement is chefs kiss, I genuinely think that this concert is the best concert they've ever done so far, they were also throwing shade to the media during their speeches and don't give a single fuck.....love the energy
I knew you were going to love this song. It's funny to see every new song you listen by the rapline becomes your favorite 😂 You definitely should watch them performing live. It's just FIRE 🔥 I recommend you to listen to BAPSAE (or SILVER SPOON). Both the rapline and vocal line are dope.
About what happened in kpop a few kpop artists took their own lives (3 that I know of, but I won't name them here) after getting endless hate online. Sometimes it's just too much for one to handle and in South Korea mental health is a joke.
I think only 1 of them offed herself because of the hate she received, the other 2 was because of depression and mental health. Jonghyun was really loved in the industry and by everyone, he didn't receive that much hate. Sulli on the other hand, the amount of hate she received by kmedia and neithizens was astonishing 😕( may they all rest in peace)
Hey Guys, Please React to the recent yet to come" in Busan concert. They performed Micdrop, Run BTS , UGH, and Cypher 3 live..I think y'all would love it. Love your reactions 💜💜 #BobbyrockNASA
Love this! I don’t normally recommend this for “new” reactors, but I think MAMA 2019 would be a great intro to the full group, each individual, and some of their non-rap Songs. As well as the scope of their Asian Award Show performances! Also one of their greatest live stages of all time.
They recently performed " "UGH!" at Busan Expo concert last Oct 15, followed by "Cypher Pt.3" it was massive! Please watch it. "MIC DROP" was their opening song followed by "RUN BTS"
Pengsoo the giant penguin is very famous Korea. BTS loves Pengsoo so it’s not quite random. The bad things in kpop/acting were the suicides due to cyber bullying and the BTS members were close friends with some of these stars. This song is one of my absolute favorites because it’s so dang hard and intense but the underlying message is so very very important and I dearly wished more people understood it. Another song that is amazing like this that needs the DkdkTV explanation is Baepsae one of the more political songs also a total banger. I’m not sure Bobby rocks NASA lol 😂
21:00 Others have mentioned that David from DKDKTV is referencing a cluster of suicides that occurred before this song was released. I'll add that one major reason that David (& the song's lyrics), don't state it directly is that S. Korea has strict rules & customs re: mentioning suicide or self-harm in broadcasts, both on TV & online. There's also a general taboo in S. Korea around discussion of mental health issues, which is part of why BTS' lyricism isn't just clever and/or poetic (ofc, it's both), it's revolutionary & transgressive: 1. By talking as openly as they do about mental health, esp. depression & anxiety, they're showing the way through for countless others. 2. By questioning the efficacy or value of suicide for the sake of others, they are challenging one of the core values of Confucianism in a deeply traditionalist, conservative country.
Since you guys have already listened to mic drop and runbts you guys neeeeed to watch their latest performance of the two. This is the first performance for runbts and the choreography is just crazy. Here’s the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XigGbzte8Wg.html. I personally like this video better than the actual recorded performance because it shows it more clearly plus you could hear the crowd better.
One thing that DKDK mentioned in the explanation, you asked for a little more clarification on...so I'm not sure if anyone has told you this or if u even know, but k pop started actually in the 90's with a group called Seo Taiji and the Boys. A very well respected group for a lot of people in Korea. And as k pop started to grow in the country, fans started to grow, as in the number of them. And as the number of fans started to grow, as well as the number of groups, certain types of fans started to show their true colors. In Korea these fans are called Saesangs. These are the over the top, obsessed type of fans that have a lot of things to idols. Weather to get their attention, or to make the idol love them back. There are a lot of documents and even videos of these obsessed fans, a few examples, Video proof on this one, a group called Girl Generation was preforming for a festival and in the middle of their preformance aan out of no where walks calmly up to the group and actually tries to kidnap one the girls out of the line they were in...he literally grabbed her hand and started to walk off stage with her, thinking that she was actually going to follow him. Another, an idol walk out of his housing and went to a bath house to relax a bit...while there he was unaware that a saesang had followed him. And because this fan dressed like a man, followed the idol in and when the idol fell asleep, the fan started taking photos of him and even took a selfie of herself kissing him. Example #3: another idol went to a restaurant for breakfast and order his meal, the server brought him his orange juice that he order, and when he drank it he said that the taste was a bit off but he thought that it may have been the toothpaste fighting with the taste of the drink. He said that he didn't think to much about it and drank half the glass before he started getting violently I'll. You a saesang that they believe was angry at the idol for not responding to her decided to take "action." She had put super glue in his orange juice. It literally almost killed him. These types of fans follow idols, take jobs in utility companies just to find out their favorite idols phone numbers and addresses. They get jobs at the companies the these idols work for just to get schedules of where they might be doing in Korea, and even the schedules for overseas and airplane info so that they can take the same flights. No matter where they be going...a lot of photos like those, idols can't run anywhere on a plane. Several groups have even gotten into really big accidents because they have been followed by fans. Some have lost their careers because of it. And the reason I am explaining all of this,is because a lot of saesangs and some called anti fans believe that idols belong to them. And when these idols don't return the affection that these types of fans are seeking, they get mean, and I mean cruel and demeaning. These fans terrorize the idols with phone calls, following them, and even making some idols fear for their lives. More recent example. An idol for a group called EXO decided that, God forbid, he fall in love, get married and actually have a child. When that happened, fans of the group protested outside their company, demanding for him to be removed from the group. That, Chen, that is his name, Chen was basically tainting the whole group because he fell in love and had a child. So, the reason I'm telling you all of this is because back in December of 2017, an artist from a group called Shinee had done a live stream with his fans, the idols name was Jonghyun. But what we were unaware of at the time is that he was severely depressed. Mental health in Korea doesn't get enuf attention in Korea, so a lot people do suffer in silence. In idols cases it is due to a lot of these obsessed fans. And because of that, we lost one of the most talented idols of the 2nd generation on December 18th, 2017 after his live with fans he went to his garage, and never came back out. But it doesn't end there. You see on October 14th, 2019 we lost an idol by the name of Sulli of a group called F/X. Then on November 24th of 2019, we lost a member of a group named KARA. That idols name was Goo Hara. Now all three were amazing artists and kind, beautiful, and very depressed due to these saesangs and anti fans torturing and terrorizing them for years and they did the only thing they could think of to make it stop. Goo Hara and Sulli were the best of friends and Jonghyun was also one of their best friends. I do sincerely apologize for such a long post. But I wanted you to understand what a lot of these idols, when they start making waves in the music industry can go through and why BTS doesn't hide from hard subjects in Korea. Why they decide to speak up, even in the beginning when it's not a good idea to speak up too much. But they knew it was the right thing to do. I do hope you forgive the length of the post. Oh and one last thing: #BobbyRocksNasa!
And as everyone else is recommending, BTS opened their Busan concert with Mic Drop and Run BTS. Then they also did Ugh! Followed by Cypher 3. They went hard. JHope really shined, IMO, but they all killed it.
@@springbloomb895 I believe it is built into the mic. Is it a synthesizer.?.. Sort of like the instrument that is used on electrical guitars .You cant speak or even breathe wrong. SO he is ding his voice like a wind instrument. pure art
26:09 speaking of boomers BTS made a song a diss to the boomers you should check it out "baepsae" and please react to "baepsae explained by a korean by DKDKTV" as well 💜💜
And their company (Big Hit, which the guys partially owns themselves) do sue on the regular. Hate commenters, stalkers etc. Not even all fans are Army. The biggest "rule" is: BTS are Seven, and if you're Army, you love and respect all!
Not sure if anyone has given you guys specifics yet but the incident this video alluded to was the suicide of former kpop idol Sulli. Sulli was a popular idol from the group f(x) but soon after leaving the group revived constant and incredibly malicious hate comments and cyberbullying for YEARS before she took her life. Idk if I can explain the lengths korea go to harass ppl online for those who are abt familiar with how they get down but I will say that it was very commonly known just how many attacks Sulli regularly had to deal with online. Her passing came a few years after the suicide of fellow idol Jonghyun of SHINee and was followed a few months later by the suicide of Hara from the group Kara. They both were known to have struggled with mental health and in the year leading up to Hara’s passing it was known that she was abused and taken advantage of by a man she was formerly in a relationship with.
These make more sense ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cm_Mbqog9RA.html, be SUPER extra careful with the color coded ones: MANY times are not human made :_) You can trust this channel (Dial 6137) and Enjoy BTS More for accurate lyrics (or as accurate as real translators can be, since there are always nuances to languages). Glad you liked this one too :P They performed this and Cypher pt 3 ("you can control my shit") in their recent concert, right before saying they are enlisting. Power move :) So far there is no legal recording, their channel has uploaded only Mic Drop+Run BTS so far, so I can't recommend one video.
The performance to it is fire too!! They performed it in 2020 on Map of the Soul ON:E concert and again on the Busan concert that happened this Saturday!! Both are amazing and if you can would love to see your reaction to both!!! 💜
The squeaking sound you heard was the sound of twittering birds, basically he's shading the people who always talk sh*t and spread hate on twitter. Also not long before the release of this song there was a tragedy of an idol who took her own life after being subjected to many hate and criticizm from the netizens. Not long after, her best friend (another idol from another group) followed her step. They both were known to be very close friends and the second girl already had an attempt on the previous year but fortunately failed. When the first girl took her life, i think the second girl got triggered again (she made an IG live where she cried and apologized to her deceased friend), and decided to follow her, unfortunately she really did it this time. It was a sad year in kpop. There are more cases like this, that's why many entertainment agencies actively pursue hate commenters and sue them.
Every quarter Bighit Music has an announcement on Weverse about the latest legal proceedings against those who post hate comments, malicious rumors and make threats against BTS. They do not ever settle out of court and prosecute to the extent of the law. They have a hotline email to report any cases of abuse. They take good care of our boys. The latest was Sept 29, after which Jin immediately made a snarky post- “what did the hater even do that they’re being sent to the prosecutors office, theyre asking for trouble..”. 😂
They have just performed ugh and cypher 3 in Busan concert. You should react to that since it was the last time they performed cypher 3 live. (RM said at the concert).
#BobbyRocksNASA lol. Great vid! They performed Ugh in the Busan concert a few days ago too! With Cypher pt 3! That's fun to watch Re the kpop issue that happened: A kpop idol committed sui/cide.
#bobbyrocksnasa and #nickrocksthesnapback 🤣 glad you guys loved the song! Thanks for watching the explanation video too 💜💜💜 they did this song live in their online concert last year (MOTS ON:E) and in the concert on Saturday and both performances are great. I can’t wait for you to react to RM’s Persona and AgustD’s AgustD songs one day! I’ll be patient 😅💜🫰🏻
21:30 a friend of BTS an Idol, k!lled himself. And other Idols too. And yes BTS's Company and Army are suing hate comments and threats. They have an Email or Wabsite were Army can send them the accounts so that BigHit can sue them
i hadn’t suggested anything yet because you guys are doing a great job at selecting songs. but i don’t think i saw anyone suggesting a banger from their most recent work + self produced album “BE”. they released it in 2020 during the pandemic. it reflects how they felt/endured/tried to power through it. YOU MUST REACT TO “DISEASE” by BTS. its all of the members and i know for a fact you guys are gonna love it. it’s old school hip hop. jhope produced it.
17:50 btw here it was RM not jhope, don't know how he got it wrong lol, doesn't change much but wanted to clarify this to you guys 20:42 and this was Jhope not Suga 😂
Please react to bts tomorrow lyric video than live, house of cards lyrics than live, blood sweat and tears mv than dance practice, On kinetic manifesto, airplane pt 2 japanese mv than dance practice and dimple and pied piper live with eng sub
If you react to the full performance at busan could you wait until you've reacted to the introduction first? I feel like such a monumental moment for them requires a basic understanding of who they are as people. Which the introduction covers😉. And either way if you decide to put it on patrean instead of RU-vid, could you make it free by any chance? I swear its so epic and I really want to watch it with you guys but I don't have the money😟
I LOVE you guys’ love for rap line! Their lyricism and flow is unmatched, and it’s fun to watch you “fan boy” over their music with the rest of us- especially the RM bias over here! Hahah 👏
#bobbyrocksnasa Stayed to the end 💜You should definitely watch and react to the live version of Ugh and Cypher Part 3 from the recent Busan concert. They KILLED both of them!!!
bobby rocks nasa 💜 unlike other reactors I can assure u that armys really appreciate more ur choice or preference to focus on bts lyricism as much as their musicality bec RM's and BTS' genius, sincere and relatable lyricism is one of the main reason of army's high loyalty to bts... so thank u and excited to see which song next u will dig 💜👍🏼
I'm sitting here watching the replay if last week's BTS concert........they're on stage doing UGH! and fucking killing it LIVE! Now, they're rolling right into Cypher 3. Just thinking of you two!!!!!!!
#bobbyrocksNasa So glad to watch you react to this one. Two years ago I simply couldn’t have imagined myself listening to this song, now I absolutely LOVE it. It’s spectacularly good when they perform it, too.
UGH is such a good song. 🔥 You guys should react to the performance of this song and Run BTS at the 'BTS 'Yet To Come Busan Concert' bc it was insane 🔥🔥. By the way, this is their last concert until they fulfill all their duties in the military service. BigHit said that they will probably be together as a group in 2025. All the members of BTS will eventually release solo albums and while some of them are working on that, the others will be in the military service too. They just announced that Jin will release a single really soon (Coldplay gave him the song and I'm not sure yet if it's a collaboration or not) and after he finish his promotion schedule, he will start the process of enlistment at the end of October. We don't know yet who are the members that will enlist first but my guess is that Hobi (J-Hope) will definitely do it since he was the first and the only member that has released an official solo album, and the next ones will be the other members of the rap line since they have hinted us for a while on social media that their albums are almost done, so yeah.. Idk if you guys know this or not but BTS has release some content and has repeatedly made comments promising that they will keep continue as a group and making music for many years. All of that gave ARMY strength and helped work our emotions. That made this news feel so much lighter and more bearable. That's probably why you will notice that we have taken this news calmed and there's even so many memes on twitter lmao 💀 I've been an ARMY for more than 6 years and discovering Bangtan completely changed my life 💜 and I have to say these years flew by 😭 and I really hope these two years feel like the blink of an eye. I trust them and love them so much. We will definitely miss them a lot, but we will still be here looking forward to them until they come back as a group in 2025! 💜 + we will have their solo releases and a lot of hidden BTS content that they have prepared when this moment arrives. Fun fact: Other companies and politicians used BTS' name and discussed for years whether they should be given special treatment or not, it made the general public have different opinions and throw hate to BTS when they and BigHit never asked for that or for an exemption and they did not participate in the meetings that the other companies K- pop did... The government had all the time in the world to make a decision but they didn't, they just turned the matter over and over. BTS is has an immense influence and have brought a huge amount of money to the country and they just use BTS for their own benefits and don't really take in mind what the members think or feel. SO, the fact BTS announced their enlistment after they hosted this concert for the Expo ( without the government economical support) and then left all these politicians burdened and embarrassed is pretty iconic if you ask me. 🔥🔥 KINGS BEHAVIOR... My respects to BTS for making their own decision. 💜👏🏻 BTS have always said that they're ready to serve when they're called upon. But, it looks like the government never listened and kept this discussion for years, they took too long and never came up with an official decision lmao. For me, this was a way of BTS saying FCK ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST USING US FOR THEIR OWN BENEFIT. Like Yoongi said: "We’ll go serve in the military when the time comes. I hope all those bastards who tried to get a free ride by selling our names shut their mouths up." -What do you think?, Agust D
Can you take a look at another group? The group is called Stray Kids. Very talented guys, where three members themselves write songs for the group. And there are some great rappers in the group. Could you make a reaction to such clips as "District 9", "God's menu" "Easy", "Helevator", "Thunderous", "Miroh", "Case 143", "Maniac" and so on. At your choice. I would like to see your reaction🥰
React also some more jhope staff base line and hangsang, and also he has a live performance video of " base line", cypher(his verse), hangsang on their youtube channel I'm sure you'll like it, but also I'll recommend Agust D give it to me
More rapline songs 1) RM- persona, trivia:love, MONO( album) 2) jhope- MORE, hope world and Jack in the box are his two albums, ego. 3) suga- agust d and D2 are his two albums also that that by psy feat. Suga, interlude shadow, seesaw
23:20 yes, let's just say the rapline have a philosophy & creed they try to follow, but it's not just being preachy coz they themselves would express how hard sometimes to follow.
#bobbyrocksnasa - Also I'm sure ppl have already told you but you should check out live performance from last week's concert of Run BTS, Cypher 3 and Ugh.
Do you guys know that BTS have done a song with Nicki Minaj? She had a verse on a version of their song IDOL. search IDOL ft. Nicki Minaj. Its a hype song fr.
did they already reacted to "HIPHOP LOVER" or "WE ON" by bts? if not, please do react to it! you can see there who's their hiphop artist inspirations. ;)
Like many have said, please watch the Map of the Soul ON:E concert live performance! Promise it doesn't not disappoint in the slightest. It's honestly probably one of the best and coolest performances. The concept just by itself was fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Oh yeah and...Bobby rocks NASA, lol
There are 3 lives to this song and all are great, like wow... Hmm I don't like this lyric video bc it shows wrong person sometimes... Like first part to RM part us Suga he only changed his voice, I don't why person that did this video if even know when who sings... But not important, the important thing is you loved song 😉 It is my favorite rap line song...😁 When I heard it first time I was like wow and go listen 3 more times. Best... I saw that people wrote about incidents that David was talking about. Actually BTS from like 2016 maybe ealier started sue haters/stalkers/people that spred wrong info, like their company really take care of it and they don't care who what think about it they think that this shit should be left alone and they take care of it in legal form. They were one of first to go this way with hate bc they had enough. They are actually honest about it, that they will not take it and let people talk shit. And they remember everything, I don't want to say they are vindictive, but it close to it. Like if someone did them dirty they will show it. Like some award show in Korea did that and they never showed again on this award shows after... Also Suga said when someone asked him how he deal with hate "I don't look and I don't care, I don't have time for it, they can write what they want company will sue them". And you would thing bc they are big they might be not aware of some things ohh NO they know everything, like sometimes - wow.
Context: The sound behind is birds chirping bc Twitter was angry at them. The other guy in this channel with a “journalist” well known to dislike BTS who often wrote articles dismissing them and twisting their words and sincerity said that BTS was overrated and they need to get out of the way. So army got angry. They gave out a non apology. So many army refuse to watch their videos. While before people used to give them more traffic. This video came out around that time. And instead of acknowledging why army were upset they claimed to be victims. That’s why you can see this guy talk about this song like this. The reason army got angry is bc to this day people in kpop fandoms and in Korea do not give BTS any credit. Using them for clout but dismissing them on the next breath. To this day they downplay and hate BTS for absolutely no reason. So their comments were not welcomed. Which is funny bc the comments in this channel are examples of the dismissal BTS get. The song is exactly about this topic. And these guys have made it about themselves. These explanation videos are good tho. But to this day I refuse to watch anything in their channel
RM and Suga were underground rappers. When BTS was formed they were criticized by other Korean underground rappers for being in an idol group because they wore makeup and looked like girls
Please make your section of the screen smaller, if possible. Even on a tablet, the content you're reacting to is reduced so much that the subtitles are too tiny to read. While watching you bob your heads has its charm, it's not necessary to see you on 75% of the screen. On the positive side, it's refreshing to watch reactors who don't mumble and curse incessantly. Using common use profanity is okay, but don't rely on it as the major part of your descriptive vocabulary. It takes away from the otherwise intellectual flow of your commentaries. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and is merely meant to provide some minor constructive criticism. Your in-depth dive into the meaning of BTS lyrics and your commentary on published material on same is a great lane to follow. Best of luck on your channel, you two.👏👏👏
Best songs by vocal line: 1)Jungkook(main vocalist)- My time, euphoria (Wembley performance), left and right (with Charlie puth), falling(by harry styles cover on yt) 2) jimin- filter, serendipity, promise 3)V- singularity, sweet night, Christmas tree 4) jin- epiphany, moon None of the vocalist have officially debuted as a soloist yet, these songs are under BTS. Hope you enjoy 💜
Please react to run bts live they preformed it for the first time last week and it blew up the Internet ..a bangerr💥💫💜 Ik run was your first bts song too so pls react to the live
Several kpop artists committed suicide. A few even begged the bullies to stop but were told to suck it up because they're famous so they should just take it
