They are from my home country. Candy and Ulco (the guitarist) have been a team since their (and my) teenage years. Ulco can be an absolute beast he puts that Gilmour style soul and melodic development into his solo's that has been an inspiration for my own playing. I've seen them live many times: always rock solid. and candy is a personal friend of my sister, she played at my sister's book release recently. Thanks for your reaction.
Definitely file that under that under the: Holy Shit category! I have played the sax (badly). I'm a lifelong fan of Richard Elliot and seen a performance of his from within 6 feet (EPIC!) but this was FIRE! TY DramaSyde for bringing this to us, though we're not worthy!
I have watched your reactions for a long time because of the variety of music you play I'm old but grew up when the best music was made people could really sing and play real instruments went to many concerts saw all the greats in person I love watching young people seeing real music being played when they react maybe real music is coming back god bless 🙏
I know I'm way late. Ulco Bed one of Europe's finest guitar players we in the states don't hear about. Chance Howard on keyboard, Nick Johnson on drums, and Candy were all part of Prince's NPG at one time or another. Jan van Dierkeren on trumpet is also one one of Europe's finest. Fantastic concert, actually all of hers and theirs.
Love me some Candy. Been a fan for years. I'd love to see you react to Les McCann & Eddie Harris live at Montreux doing "Compared To What" and Joe Bonamassa live at The Greek Theater doing "Cadillac Assembly Line"
Performances like these make me wish I was good enough at the instruments I "play at" (or the ones I want to play) to get this lost in the song. This is why talented artists are important... they carry us away with them. Thanks Dramasyde!
Hard to focus on the music when she's running around in those hot little outfits. But I did it. I did it. That guitar solo and then the sax / guitar interplay at the end. Wow!
Cool, it was nice to hear some of her music. I often found it as pop-jazz or smooth jazz which is not a style of jazz I listen to often. Wish there was more saxophone but it was a showcase for the guitarist this time around.
@@realbser1956 I grew up listening to a lot of fusion stuff, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return To Forever, Weather Report, Tony Williams Lifetime, etc. Also a lot of different eras of Miles, he had so many. The 4 albums he made in 1956 to get out of his recording contract are great. That was the quintet with Coltrane. Anyways too much stuff to list here.
