Until Dan did it we didn’t know this is how Amazing Grace should be sung. I love the baritone. I think one of his strengths is his instinct for artistry.

This song has been special for me from the day I committed to now, but with all the versions I have heard, I never considered it a victory song until now! When all the verses are sung together, Dan takes you from humble broken new believe to powerful Spiritual warrior who has been seasoned through the fire of the Holy Spirit and transformed from a simple Believer into a triumphant Knower of God's promise. Breath control - Dan's father gave him that harmonica at a young age and he took to it like a duck to water. Harmonicas are used in C.O.P.D. as a therapy for expanding lung capacity. One as large as the one his father gave him requires more air than the child size ones so I would imagine Dan had a head start on breath capacity when he began his voice training. Not at all a metal fan, but this is one of the most powerful and moving versions I've ever heard. His voice is incredible, and his vocal skills impressive. One reactor pointed out his posture and diction, as well as his technique. He has obviously had extensive training.
@larrywright3132 hardline classicists have some bits of contention with it, as his delivery is in a more open and contemporary/musical theater style and his vowel shapes could be tightened up, but the emotion and confidence he exudes is incredible and i find it no less enjoyable or powerful than Pavarotti at his peak.
Dan Vasc has one of the most incredible voices I've ever heard!!! This version of Amazing Grace is THE best, fullstop!! You really do need to check out his channel and all of the other covers he's done. EPIC rendition of a song we have all heard a million times. As he sang, as familiar as I am with the song, I still got goosebumps, chills and tears. He will bring many to God with this song. Boys got pipes and knows how to use them. I am more than a little bit in love with him.
