Diana was 15 here, but for two years she had been using multiple voices to sing songs in multiple languages and in multiple genres. She was already a master vocalist and performer - and had been since she was 13 - but over the five years since then she was been working extremely hard to develop and extend her voice and her art. Greetings from Scotland! Diana is now 20yo but this was her at 15yo Diana back in 8 Jan 2019. She was performing at the Good Wave Festival. At this point Diana had already been performing on stages in various countries for 9 years! THE most unique female vocalist on the planet! The Festival is held to help develop a culture of charity and support young talents. To create conditions for healthy children and children with disabilities to communicate; friendship and joint creativity of children with each other and the Ambassadors of the Festival. The gala concert and the Award ceremony of the winners of the Good Wave Festival took place in Kazan. I've been following her career since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she has increased her range even more since this. She also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones so it sounds like many voices at the same time! Any song, any genre, in any language, Diana can sing it and improve it! *You need a little back story to understand what helped "create" this unique phenomenon:-* Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) a passing relative found her in her home with a broken collarbone and several other injuries. She went for the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage! This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. Thirdly is Can't Help Falling In Love, sung when Diana was 18. It is in Diana's own YT channel.
