Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 or 16 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. You must remember this was like 7 years ago so you will not believe what he can do now. There is no end to the talent or the sheer beauty of his voice. While being fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English now becoming a quick third, he sings in up to about 15 plus languages. One of his most moving songs is Ikanaide from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. It is performed for the show in a studio due to Covid restrictions at the time. He performed it in the Japanese language which of course he does not actually speak and it is just stunning.

When this first his song at this competition was aired he got fame right away because over 600000000 were watching it at a time and Jacki Chang invited him to meet right away!❤❤❤

He did this in 2017 when he was 22, at The Singer competition in China. Please see all of the competition, he has many voices. You should react to Adagio from it. He is now 29 and his voice is now very strong and powerful. If u go to his official site on RU-vid u can select anything. Just Fyi, he is no longer learning Mandarinas he no longer living there. He stayed in China after the Singer competition for 3yrs. He left there many years ago. He has done concerts in many countries, all really great so u have a lot to get to. This was in 2017, on the Chinese show called “ The Singer.” Dimash ( say Dee- mahshh), sings in 15 languages, plays 9 instruments, is a composer and almost has his Ph.D in musical composition. He is now into producing a d directing as well as story boarding and composing his own mini- films( videos.) His creative production and business company is “ Dimashali”; his father Qanat and an old family friend help him to helm Dimashali. He was recently named as Kazakhstan’s Artist, a very honorable title given to him by the President. Dimash is a fantastic humanitarian and diplomat as well as being a stalwart Kazakh Patriot. He sings in many genres. He has somewhere between a 7-8 octave range by now. He’s always improving.
