First Time Hearing Dimash STRANGER 

I am a DEAR for 2 years and I still cry... I was crying through out the whole concert In Prague, three hours of amazing Dimash!!! Greetings from Greece ❤️❤️🇬🇷

Sometimes when you hear someone who is so unique and different it takes a minute to wrap your mind around it. Dimash has a fan base (He calls us dears) and we can be very protective of our Dimash. Don't let anyone make you feel less, we are just so used to seeing people go nuts , but I could tell by your reaction that you saw the unique quality in Dimashs voice. Just keep listening and you will see how talented he is, every song Is different and will take you on a journey. Your girlfriend gets it, Dimash makes her cry, he does that to alot of people even men. The more you listen , the more you'll get addicted, and he does songs from every area of music sometimes combining several together. In the song (The story of one sky) he even goes metal at the end. Dimash is out of this world so talented, no person sings like Dimash and you will never be bored. Listen to his range, his tembra, his runs and riffs, his ability to change from octive to octave so easily without detechtion, his vocal and breath control. Oh and p.s. he is 6 foot 3 inches and slim but built. He swims to sustain his breath control, he also does teakwood though not as much now. Good to see you back. I am a 60 year old guy and very often get emotional when listening to Dimash. Just one note or sound will make my eyes tear up and random chills go down my legs. I am taking my wife to his concert in Kuala Lumpur in June, our first one. We are from Melbourne, Australia.

I cried spontaneously for 4 months as soon as I heard his voice. It doesn't even matter what song, genre or language it was. Thanks again for another wonderful reaction. Dimash is absolutely amazing. I’ve been a fan ( Dear) for almost 6 years now, and I’m still in awe when he comes out with a new song. And there is not a day since I discovered him that I don’t listen to his gorgeous voice. I saw him perform live back in 2019 when he did his first solo concert in New York City at the Barclay Concert. It was electrifying to watch him perform live on stage. What is awesome is not only is he the best singer in the world today, but he is also a very humble and compassionate young man, who wants his music to help bring people together so we can bring change to the world. His message is Peace. Don’t take offense to any negative comments, there are always those people who will say something negative, but a true fan will never behave in a negative manner. Stranger was premiered at the New Wave 2021 competition for young pop singers where he.was invited as one of the judges. He premiered three songs Stranger, Fly Away and Ave Maria (New composition by Igor Krutoy who also composed Stranger for Dimash). Each song different as night and day. Since you watched Stranger, it might be good to see the other two songs he premiered a few days apart in the same order. An insight into his versatility.

Your reactions were more than fine. Do not worry. If you are not an emotional person do not worry about that also. Better to be real than fake. Dimash is not metal but he has a few songs that are more rock vibe such as Dudaraz, and Kieli Meken, both of which are in Kazakh, which is his native tongue. Also Golden from the 2021 digital concert is more rockish and in English. You will find a host of genres including that he sometimes raps and plays multiple instruments. Just glad you decided to do another Dimash. Dimash Love Is Like a Dream is a good one for the lady... trust me. Doing one day of the week for like International stars is a great idea. There are some seriously talented artist I found when I found Dimash. Hua Chenyu is going to be one you will like. He is another one that does anything he wants, any genre and often in one song. Hua Chenyu, Nunchucks is a good start.

Igor Krutoy is the man who wrote the music for this song. He came out of retirement to work with Dimash & his unique vocal abilities. You might want to look Igor Krutoy up he is very accomplished in his field. Writer, producer ect. If you watch Sinful Passion with English subtitles at the end you will see shots of the audience the man who is up front wearing a white shirt standing up is Igor Krutoy. His was his first time seeing Dimash preform. Dimash also adds traditional & folk sounds, into his music.

Dimash's voice is mesmerizing and adictive. And gives goosebumps everytime. I discovered him three years ago, during the nightmare of Covid, and he became the one and only ARTIST for me to hear every day. His voice calm my pains and gives joy to my life. And I cry each time I hear him sing,his voice is so pure and angelic...

It is not necessary to cry to show that something excites you. I consider myself Dear and the only time I did it was with Ave Maria. I like some more than others, but there is no Dimash song that fails to capture me at some point. You say what you like, always with respect and that will be more than enough.!!!

He is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. been listening to DIMASH for about 6 years now, and have heard all his songs several hundreds of times and it still doesn't stop the emotion of goosebumps and leaky eyes, once you are "hooked" you have little control over your emotions when he sings.

Why? Because it’s Dimash. He doesn’t touch everyone but when he does it’s an emotional pull. I’ve been listening to him every day for the past 3 years and he still gets me. The Stranger performance is from 2021; the SOS performance you first reacted to was from 2017 when he was 22. Dimash turns 29 in May this year. Next, maybe one of these - may need tissues - Love is Like a Dream, Sinful Passion, Ikanaide (Japanese for “please don’t go”), Ave Maria. It was very sweet of you Taylor to defend your man and I look forward to more Dimash reactions from you both. I liked and subbed on your first reaction. If you want emotional, try Ikenaide in Japanese in the Tokyo jazz festival. Or Quaragym-ai which he sang as a tribute to his beloved teacher who died of covid. If you want something from Dimash with a folk rock vibe, try Kieli Meken or Durduraz, in Kazakh from his digital show during the pandemic 2021. Dimash does it all including the occasional metal scream.

Dimash has even included heavy metal screams in his recent work. And everyone has their own opinions about music. I love heavy metal (Judas Priest, Metallica, iron Maiden, etc) Dimash’s voice is something I now have to listen to every day. His tone is so pure and soothing - no matter what song he sings. Hey I am a rock guy from the 60's and 70's and I been following Dimash for 7 years now and he still brings tears to my eyes. It those perfect frequencies he is able to send out from his amazing vocals. You have a lot of catching up to do from this Vocal Genius. He does Rock, Pop and of course Opera :) Keep going so much more to see and hear:)

Great reaction! I think you were perfectly reasonable on the SOS reaction. You let everyone know right off that it wasn't your type of music and gave us fair warning. You said nice things about Dimash's abilities. Like you said, we all want people to love what we love as much as we love it and that's not the way things work. None of my friends care about Dimash's music at all while I listen to it every day and am learning some of the Kazakh lyrics! Interestingly several metal reactors have said that Dimash would be a great singer in a metal band! So far that's one genre he hasn't really done. As for crying to his music, it does affect some people that way. I think it's just that it's so pure and some of those notes he hits are absolutely beautiful! Two especially beautiful songs are "The Meaning of Eternity" which was recorded as a promotion for a Chinese play and "Ave Maria" which is a new version with no words but which is amazing!

Thank you again for your appreciation of Dimash’s insane talent! It was Dimash’s idea to incorporate the beautiful and haunting sound of the Qobyz, the traditional Kazakh string instrument: what a brilliant addition to the composition! It gives much more depth to the meaning of the song I think. Also, listening to Stranger is in and of itself a musical journey where we’re accompanying Dimash through this “stranger’s land” with each and every vocal technique and singing style which denotes a different culture and path in life. Dimash does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story; like in his latest masterpiece that he composed himself, “The Story of One Sky” (we are divided into different countries, races and faiths, but we all share the same sky: this song is a cry for peace and unity). By the way, STRANGER is his original song, composed by Igor Krutoy specifically for Dimash. Whenever you see Igor Krutoy accompanying him on the piano during a live performance, it means that he composed the song for Dimash.
