Mark Knopfler is a guitarists guitar player and one of the best story driven songwriters ever. This song is about a soldier dying on the battlefield thanking his brothers in arms for not deserting him in his last few moments. He knows he will live in the low lands because that is where he will be buried. All in all, I have a hard time reconciling the deep sorrow this song, this guitar conveys to me and your reaction to it.

I was probably already older than you are now when this album was released (yes, I am only about 5 minutes younger than dirt). Mark Knopfler made the then-revolutionary decision to release only on CD without also releasing on vinyl. That decision was responsible for hundreds of thousands or millions of CD player sales (including me!). I'd already seen Dire Straits live once and no way was I going to miss out on their latest album. I've always thought the lyrics in this song are the words of the heart and the guitar is the song of the soul. There's no single word in English to express the emotion, although there is one in Welsh: hiraedd. Hiraedd meaning a deep, tormented longing for something you know you will never see but yearn after with all your heart; homesickness times a million. We are indeed fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

It's the most emotional performance of this song the singer/songwriter/guitarist/all-round musical genius has ever given. Before it begins he says 4 words that still resonate 35 years later: "One humanity. One justice."
Mark is a Geordie boy from just down the road from me, working class areas sent a lot of of the soldiers there, a good number never came back. People who have suffered hard things in growing up make good soldiers. He wrote a song that echoes with the pride of his people.

It was actually written after the Falklands war or conflict in 1982 between the U.K. & Argentina in the South Atlantic . It’s about the futility of war & conflict , & the fact that those that bear arms be they on the same side or the opposing side , share a common bond as Brothers in arms .
There is a very beautiful song Your Latest Trick. While having a break in the mid of working day me and my colleagues used to go to the "BBKing" cafe with music automat and listened to Dire Straits. The most beloved were Brothers In Arms and Latest Trick.

And I apologize beforehand, if I sounded like a Teacher, or a wiseacre, if I sound like a smartass, I am not. I am just trying to help. Only a free Tip: Maybe... Perhaps... you can react to the original Video without showing it. i know it's common that when you make a reaction you show the Video on a Picture in Picture. But if RU-vid keeps telling you that you violate Copyright, maybe you then just have to react to the Music only. Or: You show a Symbol Photo. In Place of the Video you show Pictures. Like... screenshots. Do not show the whole Video but make Screenshots and show them. Or you do show the Video, but you lay over a layer with.... a Picture. Some other RU-vidrs make a new Layer with a transparent Picture over the Video. The Picture could be a Prohibition Sign, or a RU-vid sign, or whatever... or the Name of the Band as a Big Sign. Something similar like that. Maybe you will get away with it, when you make a transparent Picture over the actual Video you review. Or you review the Original Video without showing it at all, the Video, but instead just show another Video. Of course a Video of this Song... but there are other Versions out there. Videos of this Song, but like Lyric Videos or Videos of this Song but with a Picture only, like the Video you used. So maybe, perhaps next Time review the actual Video but do not show it but... show something else instead. Or show the Video but with a new Layer over it. Maybe that will help. Or show part of it, not the full Video, but only Parts of it and the other Parts are either black or Pictures or whatever. Maybe I am too nitpicking. Maybe this does not really matter. And yes I know, this is a first world Problem. There are other more important Things than that. I know. I just notices and wanted to give advice on how you could get away with it.
