Yep, this song is about protecting the planet from our destructive tendencies since it's the only home we have (Maison is French for home). I'm so glad you're continuing to dive into Dreamcatcher, as you said they are very underrated, especially domestically as their rock sound doesn't seem to resonate as much with Korean audiences as it does other places. At this point you're probably due for a guide, but if you really want to "understand" Dreamcatcher and how much they worked to get where they are I recommend Dodging Disbandment and Other Extreme Sports: A History of Dreamcatcher. It's a little long but very worthwhile. Keep up the great reactions.

Dreamcatcher are sooo underrated and overlooked it's unreal! They're so socially aware and always have a message to convey; Maison is indeed referring to the environment and the damage humanity has done to the planet, and the Dystopia trilogy (Scream, Boca, Odd Eye) tackled the bullying/hate/negativity that corrupts society (especially online) with the videos and lyrics depicting and making comparisons to corruption of humanity/nature and witch hunts Their lyrics and music video imagery can be unbelievably deep, and that paired with their sound and personalities is why Dreamcatcher is one of my favourite groups in general, not just K-pop
Dreamcatcher is Amazing. This song has a really good message about how we are destroying our home Earth. As lyrics say save our Maison (home) I think it's really Amazing to convey this through music. I will also recommend reacting to Deja Vu. That song is one of their best.
I found this video yesterday and went back and watched all your reactions to DC because you seemed so happy. Thank you for being so enthusiastic and excited about them! Today they finally got their first win on a music show in Korea, 1924 days after their debut, the longest a group has ever gone between debut and a win. They cried so much. They finally won their first ever music show after 6 long years of debut. They cry their eyes out. Usually when groups never win , they often feel depress / not motivated to keep going hence a disband group, but after 6 years of hard work they finally won.

In my time zone, most comebacks happen at 5 a.m., so I get to view them when I wake up, usually around 7 or 8. The other day, when I saw this mv, I cried like a proud dad, and these old eyes of mine glistened off and on all day long. Dreamcatcher comeback days are as special as December 25th to me.

DREAMCATCHER is the best group they serving us so well. they made comeback very often , they drop content and even special clip for almost all they're b-side . not many group do that they love us so much than they film themself they're special clip . i'am so mad than our industry still ignore they're talent when obviously they're one of the top kpop group today , not many group is so well balanced they got an amazing vocal line today in a top 5 or even 3 . one of the top dance line also top 3 the most unique female rapper and the most unique concept . and of course they're all very beautifull .

Definitely recommend going back to the very start of their "redebut" journey from being MINX(2014-2015) and now as Dreamcatcher(2017-now) (they were only 5 members back then had a girl crush(meaning like badass but in kpop term)/cute concept. Yes the album is out, it's a full album with 14 tracks that include: 1 intro 5 tracks with all the members (maison included) 1 instrumental interlude 7 solo songs (one for each member). All the members had a hand on the composition, lyrics and/or arrangement of their solo songs. The album is full of diversity, there is funk/jazzy rock, retro pop, club music, ballad, old jazz, pop rock, jazzy r&b, korean traditional ballad and more. THEY also got a very versatile discographie and you're right they underrated mostly because of they're concept . we (i'am korean) usualy love cute concept or girl crush concept . and everything in between but many people don't like scary concept for an idol and DC had this unique HORROR /FANTASY /DARK concept . but in real they're the most bubbly and crackhead girls in a world they're very cute in real life . like blackpink and many other group MAMAMOO etc.so i can't accept than our music industry didn't put respect on them .

The album is out and I'm waiting for my pre-order. There are as always some great tracks on the album and again you'll find a wide range of music styles. There should be something for everyone. My favourite tracks (beside the title track) so far are "Always" (Ballad - which was also the first song in the mixed Online/Offline concert on Tuesday where Jiu was really struggling to hold back her tears), then Dami's solo "Beauty Full" and Sua's solo "No Dot"...but there is more.
I'm pretty sure every InSomia looked like a total dork and was grinning like an idiot when listening to Maison for the first time. I know I did. 😉 Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house", and they are singing about everyone's house, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. The more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear though. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. LEEZ and Ollounder have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!
About the fandom name InSomnia btw, for anyone who doesn't know, in Latin "somnus" (plural "somni") means "sleep", but "somnium" (plural "somnia") means "dream". The prefix "in-" means "without", but as a separate word, "in" just means "in". English basically copied this. So as one word "insomnus" means "without sleep", and that's what the English medical term "insomnia" is derived from, although literally in Latin "insomnia" would mean "without _dreams_". And as separate words, "in somnia" (or stylised as "InSomnia") means "in dreams" which is what Dreamcatcher means because them and us, their fans, will always be together in dreams. But whoever realised "somnia" and "maison" ("house/home" in French) are anagrams (Dreamcatcher usually usually call us "somnia" for short) when they were making a song about protecting our home.. whoever thought of that is a genius. It's like they're saying they want to protect their home, and protect us, at the same time. And knowing how corny JiU is she would probably say that us fans _are_ her home 😂 Also really excited for any future Dreamcatcher reactions! They have about.. 18 singles? I listened so many K groups but only Dreamcatcher impressed me this much. Best K-group - the most underrated K group in the world. They are awesome. They have lots of amazing songs. You should definately react them. My personal favourite is Odd Eye 🤘👍

I love this song so so much but the dystopia trilogy resonated so much with me. Odd Eye for me is the best one. The song somehow felt like it captured exactly how my mind felt at the time it came out. Odd Eye just hits home in a way no other song has before for me
Maaaan you've already seen nothing. React to their oldest titles, their japanese tracks (that are way harder! than their Korean titles) and their LIVE shows. You can check out the recent performance on Kpop Flex, it's breathtaking. They performed Maison, BEcause and Scream and goooddd the amount of noise and the epic it was!! Also there are a lot of their live band concerts (you know, in their two last concerts they performed all of their songs with a live band, real instruments) and some of their songs are rearranged. Their concerts are EPIC. They're also considered one of the best (if not the best) girlgroups in terms of stage presence, they're so emotional and eye-catching when they're on stage. Dreamcatcher has a ton of content behind the scenes. Besides their banger music and amazing talents, you will fall in love even more after seeing their chemistry and goofyness. And they make their own self-made MV's (Poison Love is the funniest imo) as well as their own K-Drama (!). No other K-group has ever spoiled their fans with sooooo much content and stuff. My first DC mv was Scream, and the instant I heard Dami's voice and saw her on screen, I said out loud "I love her". She became my bias in that moment, so I completely understand and appreciate your excitement! BTS was my gateway into Kpop, and it's been a journey I never expected to be on, but one I am so grateful for. DC was the first girl group I even liked, and one of my favorites overall. I think you'd love Stray Kids. For me, BTS is #1, but Stay Kids are a close second (their latest mini album, "Oddinary", debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, so they are really making a name for themselves).
