This is actually one of my favourite tracks on the Album. To me, it feels like this is one of the tracks that are made "for the culture" it feels old-school and fun, but more than that it pays respect to the greats that influenced em and made him and hip hop/rap what it is today, having it set on a busta sample was fantastic as well. If you notice Royce mentioned Slaughterhouse. That's the group that Em formed with Royce, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, and Joe Budden. You should check out these couple songs from them: Lyrical Murderers, Microphone, Hammer Dance, and R.N.S.

EM didn't form Slaughterhouse. He's not even in the group. Slaughterhouse was formed after those 4 did a song together on one of Joe's albums after Royce an Joe had a little beef. EM just signed them to his label after their first independent album with some of those songs you have listed on it.

@@hanch3664 yep from what I heard Joe Budden formed Slaughterhouse at first. He put together the group initially and that might have contributed to him getting upset because Stans do what Stans do. They give all the credit/ praise to Eminem and belittling the other amazing lyricists in the Group.

I’m a 35 year old white guy from Detroit…and I’ll even admit black thought out rapped Eminem on this track. But they’re my two favorite rappers anyways so just having them on the same track is a win for me. Also, Black thoughts funk flex freestyle is the greatest display of emceeing in hip hop history. Em’s verse on this is more appealing to the average listener because Thought went a more esoteric route due to the theme of the song. Unless you are a hip hop head familiar with the all the references you can’t appreciate it. Whereas em makes his more palatable for the masses.
