I'm 72 years old woman and I;m from the 60s and up , I've lived throw that time and my life has been just like that but I found the real love, it last 16 years and it was the happiest time of my life , we had the same age , he was a professional drummer , dye do to cancer and right now I'm feeling the same pain waiting to be reunited with him , I know he's waiting for me , is getting closer , in the mean time I'm doing the best I can do with his love in my heart guarding it like the best treasure I ever had and have keeping me worm in this cold time until we finally be in each other arms and become one for an eternity and for EVER , shinning like a star for others to find the REAL ❤LOVE .💥

This is one of their softer ballads and a fave song of mine! But they also have a lot of real high energy bangers like Jukebox Hero and Cold as Ice and more. But damn you miss half the video, that great choir coming in etc not paying attention to the actual video.

Foreigner was the product of 6 musicians from the UK and the USA joining forces... the band was led by British guitarist Mick Jones and fronted by American vocalist Lou Gramm... their debut album in 1977 would sell 5 million copies in the US w/ huge singles 'Cold as ice'... 'Feels like the first time'... 2nd album 'Double vision' in 1978 was a bigger hit, selling 7 million copies w/ singles 'Hot-blooded' and 'Double vision'... 🔥🔥But there were problems in Foreigner w/ the 3rd album 'Head games' in 1979, despite massive success. In 1981, Foreigner parted ways w/ 2 founding members and released the '4' album, which became a massive hit (6x platinum sales) w/ the single 'Waiting for a girl like you'... 'Urgent'... 'Juke box hero'... 🔥🔥The next album 'Agent Provocateur' (1984) was another success selling 3 million copies w/ the single "I want to know what love is" becoming a hit (inspired by guitarist Mick Jones' wife) ... Foreigner saw decline in 1987 w/ the album 'Inside information' (1987) selling platinum (1 million copies) in the US w/ the hit single "I don't want to live without you" ... and tensions between Mick Jones and Lou Gramm led to Gramm leaving Foreigner by 1990. Jones recruited singer Johnny Edwards for the 1991 album 'Unusual heat', but the album was a commercial failure... Lou Gramm returned to Foreigner for the 'Mr. Moonlight' album in 1994, but it sold poorly as well. After 2000, Foreigner's music was getting popular again, so Mick Jones and Lou Gramm reunited to tour again as Foreigner, but differences led to Lou Gramm leaving once again after 2003... Mick Jones is the sole original member of Foreigner today, touring w/ singer Kelly Hansen and releasing 1 album "Can't slow down" (2009)... Recently,Lou Gramm retired from music... Foreigner announced a 'farewell' tour in 2023.

Next time why don't you just get into the song? Yeah, one of my top ten favorites of all time. Not only is it a great song to just listen to but the lyrics hit home for an 82 year old who has been through his share of what he is talking about. I loved this song when it first came out before I went through half the crap life had for me, it's just a classic great song.
