Ha! I just posted about it. I knew the second this guy started singing that it wasn't Garth Brooks. I'm from the country (Georgia) and I know my Garth Brooks. Lol!!
Y'all gotta watch a live version of "Ain't going down til the sun comes up." HIS LIVE CONCERTS ARE INSANE AND MASSIVE. He once had a concert in Louisiana where the crowd went so nuts that it registered as an EARTHQUAKE on the richter scale! No exaggeration!!
I’ve seen him 4 times in concert. One of the best performers ever. Amazing performer. You have to hear the extended version/ last verse. Makes the song. You cannot go wrong with any of his music!
Listen to "Low places." It is a fun song to get stupid with your friends and sing along. Btw...love watching y'all. I teach and wish more of my students had your healthy curiosity about the world. Keep it up! Knowledge is power!
I may be wrong, unless this is a version I’ve never heard but I don’t think that was Garth. He does a good job of keeping his music off the internet. He is a ghost on Spotify and other music media. The singer sounded a lot like him but I don’t think it was him.
I’m not sure that was actually Garth as he doesn’t let his songs be on RU-vid. You need to check out his actual videos. As for this song there’s another verse at the end “She runs back down the hallway And through the bedroom door She reaches for the pistol kept in a dresser drawer Tells the lady in the mirror He won't do this again 'Cause tonight will be the last time She'll wonder where he's been”
Garth actually started in a metal band at a young age. Then changed to country. Best songs imo include “friends in low places” (that put him on the map) “unanswered prayers” “the dance” “rodeo”. He probably the most popular country singer at a particular time that I’ve ever seen.
Since u know so much you should realize this is NOT GARTH BROOKS. It’s a cover. This is Garth: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mT56hZhmP9E.html
@@wildboy365 glad you said it. I haven’t heard Garth in years, since you got to pay for it on Amazon music, but it was obvious, right away, this isn’t Garth Brooks.
Y’all really need to listen to live version of this song. There is another verse that he only sings at his concerts. The same with his song Friends in Low Places. If you haven’t listened to that one y’all should!! Other good ones: Ain’t Going Down Till Sun Comes Up, Shameless, The Dance, Standing Outside the Fire, Not Counting You (my favorite).
Yall gotta do a live version. Garth won't allow his music on RU-vid unless it's a live version. All the lyrics videos are covers. This song live is mind blowing
@@Joe-lc3sv you definitely don’t have an ear for music. Any fan of Garth can tell this isn’t him live, acoustic, studio, etc. The actual video they watched is a cover and has been proven so if u will just investigate. Good luck with whatever tone problems you have.
Definitely not Garth singing. You'll probably have to watch a live performance to post something that's actually him. He's very protective of his music.
It's impossible to find his music without paying for it. You HAVE to listen to the studio version honestly there's so much more emotion in it. His stuff isn't really on RU-vid...just covers and live versions. But please listen to the studio version, you won't regret it. 💯🤌🏻
The first time I've seen you actually play a song all the way through without pausing it-about time! Wished you had chosen "Friends in Low Places" to listen to -now, that's a fun song!
Friends in low places. I was in the Marines, in the barracks, they used to get drunk and blast Garth Brooks' Friends in low places and put me on country music. Man those were good times.
I remember when the video for this song got banned for violence. Great song and a great video. I never requested this Garth song but I did suggest once that you do Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) and The Dance.
I watch y’all every day and I’m so glad I went far enough back in y’all’s videos to find this! Y’all have to listen to Garth’s live performances though, this didn’t really sound anywhere close to how amazing his performances are. Garth was born in Tulsa but grew up in Yukon. Toby Kieth was born in Clinton and moved to my county in Moore when he was young and lived there until he passed away a few months ago. RIP to the man who made red solo cups famous all over the world! ❤ Reba McEntire is from McAlester. Blake Shelton was born in and still lives in Ada. Carrie Underwood is from Checoteh/Muscogee. We also produced Ronnie Dunn from Brooks & Dunn and Vince Gill. Speaking of Brooks & Dunn, y’all have to look up the video for the song “Believe”, but only if you want to cry like a baby lol Honorable mentions who are not country singers- Brad Pitt (side note: his movie stunt double lives in my hometown and is close friends with my mom), Chuck Norris, Dr. Pill McGraw, Gary Busey, Kristin Chenoweth, Troy Aikman, Sam Bradford, Blake Griffin, Mickey Mantle, Billy Sims, Barry Sanders, Barry Switzer, Wes Welker, Trae Young, Sam Walton (founder of Walmart), Bill Hader, the Hansen Brothers (group from the 90’s), Skip Bayless, Kathy Lee Gifford (we don’t claim her 😂), Elizabeth Warren (or her), Cornel West & Kathleen Zellner who was the badass attorney for Steven Avery (from Netflix’s Making a Murderer) Just naming a few that I thought y’all would recognize. There are so many more. Not many people know about Brad Pitt and Dr. Phil, so I think it’s pretty cool. The Great State of Oklahoma has produced our fair share of awesome people, including two of you guys ❤❤
very good!!! ya'll have to hit Friends In Low Places from him. it's the song that put him on the radar for me..I am not a big fan of country but it made me one
Hi 👋 you have the reach to not let such artists forget! I'm sure there are many young Americans who don't know these great artists! I was born in Turkey and live in Germany and have known Garth brooks for 31 years.....
My parents listened to country when i was a kid. Thunder Rolls by Garth Brooks and Goodbye Earl by Dixie Chicks are two songs I enjoyed the most. Didn’t realize until i was an adult that those songs are metal af.
Garth Brooks is a country legend! I saw him many years ago at an indoor San Antonio indoor stadium. It was a sold out show and the feeling in the air was amazing, it was electrified! So amazing!🔥🔥 I am from Ohio but I was visiting with my Aunt, Uncle and brother when we went to the concert.😁 Love watching you guys reacting!!👏👏👏👏
That's not Garth Brooks when doing a Garth Brooks reaction it's best to do a live version. To get the real deal. Cause the lyric videos are mainly covers cause Garth don't like his music on RU-vid or any music platform. And the live version of the the thunder rolls has a 3rd verse to it.
I was waiting for you to do this. I figured alot of requests had been posted for him. He and The Judd's dominated the early 90's. The Dance - live in concert - it's what makes him 2nd Best behind the Beatles ‼️
Yo, love the channel! Em is my favorite artist also. All your fans want you guys to do a Q&A and tell us lil about yourselves. How’d you guys meet? Etc… Do more Weezy reactions too and Eddie Murphy’s stand up called delirious and RAW. from the late 80’s.
Garth Brooks put on one of the best concerts I've seen. I've seen him twice in concert. You have got to hear the last verse he added to this song. Oooooowweeeeee! Friends in Low Places with the extra verse is awesome too.
I'm from Norman Oklahoma where Tobey Kieth lives. And yes Garth Brooks is also in Oklahoma. Reba , there is a lot of country star's. From here like Carrie underwood. God bless
The last time he came to Baton Rouge he played in Tiger Stadium and all the people there stomping their feet and screaming caused the Richter scale to measure an earthquake in Tiger Stadium. He is absolutely awesome.
As many others have said, there’s a third verse to the song that he sings live. Also, there’s a music video to the song. You should check it out as well.
