First Time Hearing - George Jones - If Drinking Don't Kill Me | REACTION! 

George was the best but he did have a problem with the bottle. He earned the name No Show Jones because he was often too drunk to perform. His wife Tammy Wynette loved him but couldn’t take the drinking so she left him. One of the most well known stories is when she hid the car keys so he couldn’t buy more booze. He drove his riding lawnmower to town to the liquor store.He married Nancy and got sober in his later years. He is a legend.

Nobody could do it like George. That is one original voice. Rest in peace brother.

Mike Judge, the creator of Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill, had an animated show on HBO called "Tales of the Tour Bus." It's a show where they animate the stories of singers from people they interviewed who knew them. They did an episode on George Jones. The stories they animated about him were pretty wild. Definitely worth watching. Somebody uploaded them on RU-vid in multiple short videos.

I knew his first wifes dad. He said that when George was sober he was the best guy in the world but when he was drunk, he'd try and kill you.
