I am truly glad you did this one first! The song you were looking for is “all my rowdy friends are coming over tonight”. Totally different song, but later in Hank’s life. Both are great songs! Hope y’all check out the other one.

I’m salvadorean and each time I hear this old country music reminds me back when I was child with a lot of work in my dad coffee plantation and never had money and now living in Clarksville Tennessee is make me feel home the back woods and the country music is based on truth stories I fucking love the country life style

This song is so country and so nostalgic it gives me goose bumps. And I'm so appreciative that you kids, who weren't even born when all the excitement in Bocephus' life took place, really do get it. And how great it is to hear ol' Hank give a shoutout to Kris Kristofferson, one of the most talented men who ever lived. I'm just a lonely old white guy and we come from different worlds, but your reactions give me something to look forward to each evening, so thank you.

I saw Hank in concert last July. He still kills it. He has so many popular songs to list them all. Family Tradition and The Conversation are some of my favorites from him.

One of MANY great hit songs by Hank Jr that I never get tired of listening to. His dad's song that he referenced "Lost Highway" is a pretty good song by Hank Williams Sr. I love the message in it.

Hank was the face of Monday Night Football with this song for years. He was removed from the broadcast in 2011 after he compared President Barack Obama to Hitler, and described Vice President Joe Biden as “the enemy.”

Age Means literally less than nothing. This past Tuesday I stayed up drinking with my 75 year old mother her 73 year old sister and her sister's 85 year old husband. Till 2 AM just sitting around drinking and arguing about politics... well....THEY drank. I quit after I left the Navy. But I was as close to smoke stoned as they were liquor stoned as I could get. Most fun I've had in ages.

Country State of Mind, Gonna Go Huntin, Now I thinking I know how George feels, Two Dot Montana (cuz I’m from Montana), Born To Boogie, and Attitude Adjustment are just a very few of my favorites that include almost the entire range of his music type.

We always sat in the garage with the music going and a couple of 12 packs. Then the 12 packs turned into coffee. But we always watched the neighbors and the cars going by. This summer we lost our neighbor that came over almost everyday. My brother and I haven't just sat in the garage since he passed. All of our childhood friends have passed on as well. Cherish your friends and close neighbors as much as you can.

My first concert was in 1966, I went with my folks. Hank Williams Jr was the headliner with his mother, another one of the names was Waylon as his music was just taking off. There were many other performing that night. This was back in the day when people were able to go down front take pictures and return to their seats. When I went to Hank's Hog Wild concert, i took along a camera, went down front to snap a few, you might have thought I was there to assassinate the guy the way the ushers started coming for me. Took the pics anyway and when I turned around they were already heading back to their post.

saw hank live in Peoria Il around 30 years ago. a party from first song to the last. thank God i wasnt in settle down mode then lol. he's definitely the real deal. great show. I listen and subscribe to a lot of folks, you two are by far my favorite. This is part 2 of his Rowdy songs. Wish you had gotten the video. 'All my friends are coming over tonight' is his party song & video. They used that one for Monday Night Football & the video is corn but cute. The videos have Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson, Kris Kristoferson (who he sang about in this one how he went off to be a movie star in LA) & other old country stars in them. Check out the fun one, becuase his rowdy friends DO come over & it's a fun video.
