You ought to watch the beatboxer, Adam Rupp, in his " Drum Solo" video. Look up Home Free Adam Rupp drum solo..IT'S INSANITY. That man sounds like he swallowed drums, a DJ turntable, Star Wars effects, a robot, and a bass subwoofer!! It's awesome!!
you totally get these guys. it's so rare now days when most entertainers strive to be "celebrities", these guys strive to put out the best music they can without letting ego get in the way. They are truly thankful for their fans and are just good decent people. Mr. Adam Rupp is a force of nature. World class beat boxer/vocal percussionist. Tim is their super bass. Chance is baritone/bass. Austin is the sky high tenor with a voice strong enough to bend steel. Rob is the lower tenor with the voice like sweet caramel with a side of soul. We Home Fries love our guys to pieces. The more you listen to them, the more you will be impressed. We promise.
Adam's sound effects are unbelievable! This entire group is so immensely talented. They all beatbox to some degree but Adam unbeatable. With this song, everything in the background is to sound like a train, from the beatboxing to the other singers accompaniments. I'm enjoying your reactions to the group and look forward to more from you.
Adam, the beatboxer is one of the best if not THEE best. He has been doing beatboxing since Home Free started 2000, and has expanded his abilities almost every song!!!
There is vids of Adam's Drum Solo. He's amazing. He's a 2X world champion beatboxer. It's my understanding that he didn't learn how to beatbox until he was in college with his brother Chris when they decided to form the band.
Home Free felons! Nice cover of Johnny Cash classic! All Vocals!! They’re all about six foot tall...did you notice the height chart? They love to mess with their fans!! Listen to Your Man” (onstage performance); “How Great Thou Art”; “American Pie”; “End of the Road”; “Helplessly Hoping”; “Castle on the Hill”; “My Church”; “Seven Bridges Road”!! Nice to see you becoming a Home Fry with each reaction! Can’t wait for your next reaction!!
Written and made hugely popular by the great Johnny Cash. He wrote it in 1953, and recorded it 1955-and re-recorded it in conjunction with the live concert he (and others) gave in FOLSOM PRISON on January 6, 1968. The album with this song came out in May 1968.
also their cover of End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men) is exceptional, it give more time to Rob (guy with the beard) and have you tried/attempted VoicePlay yet - My Mother Told Me used on both Viking and Assassins' Creed
This is a cover of Johnny Cash's 1950's song. The sounds are all vocally done. The beatboxer, Adam Rupp, (he swallowed an entire orchastra when he was a baby) is incredible but the other guys do some sound effects too, like Adam Chance, who they just call "Chance" since there are 2 Adams (did the "jaw harp" sound in "Man of Constant Sorrow"). You need to watch the youtube video of Adam Rupp's drum solo! You'll be amazed! Just found & subscribed to your channel & glad I did so I can go on the Home Free journey with you! They're THE best!
Adam Rupp… Yes, made the rifle crack sound !!!! He Is AWESOME !!! On their “Sea Shanties”video, he sounds like castanets !!!! The man is Unbelievable 🙃❤️‼️ Oh, for a note, You are the first reactionary who caught the Rifle Crack right off the bat !!! Good on You !!! Oh, yeah, Tim goes LOW…LOLOL..One of the lowest basses out there !!! I loved his little smirk…LOLOL 🙃❤️‼️ “WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN”…..you will love it…..Austin shines as lead on this one.!!! He’s a classically trained high tenor in musical theater!!!
Home Free is: Earlier Years Chris Rupp (usually wearing a Cowboy Hat & always smiling) and Adam Rupp, the Beatboxer founded the Group. Chris went Solo in 2016 with which he is doing Very Well! Adam Chance who goes by Chance was brought in to replace Chris! Chance is the Baritone that has a 4 Octave Range. He can replace Tim, the Group's Bassist when needed as Chance was the Bassist in his previous Group before Home Free. Back to Adam Rupp, he's the incredibly talented Beatboxer and can sing well too! His Beatboxing is above and beyond any other Beatboxer that I have seen! He's also won several Beatboxing Championships to boot!😁😁 Now to Tim, the Group's Bassist has a 5 Octave Range so he can Lead the Group as a Bassist or a Tenor or something in between! He's Phenomenal and he's also taught some other Bassists from other Acapella Group's to be able to do certain things that allow them to get Lower and hit Notes they weren't able to before now. The Bearded Singer is the Group's Tenor and he is Awesome! Such a Creamy Tone and at times his Range is incredible too! To end the Group's Members is Austin the Group's High Tenor. This man is unbelievable! He can hit the highest of the highest of notes and he still can do Low Notes almost Baritone standards! Now hopefully you can get caught up with the Group's Members!
@@taylorfamilyreactions Geoff Castallucci from VoicePlay also did a vid for that song (title expanded to "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold) which is just as amazing. I love playing them back to back on a loop, along with "My Mother Told Me" in a playlist I call Valhalla.)
Great reaction. It is going to be so much fun watching you learn about them, they are full of surprises. If you want to check out their humour try "All about that bass" or "Butts medley".
@Steve_Anderson Definitely don't do "Mayday" until you know everyone's names, skills and their placement within the Group! Probably 15-20 Song Reactions before "Mayday"! Seriously! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOT TO DO "MAYDAY" YET! You will regret it, if you do it too early!
@@taylorfamilyreactions Please make sure that you DO NOT REACT TO "MAYDAY" until you have Reacted to at least 15-20 of Home Free Videos so that you can learn more about the Group, the Singer's, their skills, their names, and their position in the Group! You won't regret it unless you do it sooner! The we all will regret it! IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY!
Truly wonderful gentlemen! Home Free is the absolute best! Can hardly wait for the next one! I'm going to enjoy Watching you on your journey down the Home Free rabbit hole! It's very deep! However, it is so beautiful and literally life changing that you will never want to get out! I still would like you to react to "ADAM RUPP LIVE SOLO" Apprx 2015-2018 Beatboxer and Vocal Percussionist Thank you! It is a pleasure seeing you watch our favorite guys!I think you should consider yourself a Home Fry now! Welcome to the Home Free family! God bless you!😃♥️🍟
Welcome to the world of the Home Fries! This is an old Johnny Cash song. Home Free do have a few originals though, you'll love them. The beat boxer, Adam Rupp, one of the original founders of Home Free is beyond awesome - check him out on RU-vid, there is a video of his live performances :) The Bass singer, Tim Faust, another legendary member can go down to A0 (lowest note on a full 88-key piano) and there's a fun video on RU-vid where he blows out the sound system at a gig - Tim has a vocal range of more than 5 octaves, which is unheard of (Others are Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Freddie Mercury, Luciano Pavarotti - Quite an exclusive group) I think you got some really good base feedback about these guys; one of the reasons I love them is that they are so down to Earth, they are both really talented, and fun, and really nice guys. They deeply respect their idols, and even perform with them from time to time (Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, Don McLean, Charlie Daniels, and fun fact, after Diana Ross heard their performance of Love Train, she asked them to perform at her 75th birthday)
it's a cover of a 1955 Johnny Cash super hit. Adam (Rupp) is a magician on the beatboxing. I am confident in saying he is among the top 3 best beatboxers in the world. He is just amazing. Tim can go even lower than that. Was glad you also got to see Chance take the lead even briefly, as in Man of constant sorrow, he doesn't get to have a solo part. To hear Chance sing solo or leand I should say, these three are where his star shines : *DIVE BAR SAINTS, BORN IN THE USA & SOME GIRLS DO*
Thanks Kevin for your comment! I’m still struggling to tell them apart at the moment but I’ve been given so many recommendations I should be a Homefree expert by the time I get to the end of the list! 🤣
@@taylorfamilyreactions If you do Some Girls Do there are two bonuses. 1) it’s a country classic cover. 2) Chance’s real life girlfriend is the girl in the video. You can then do Cover Me Up where Chance proposes to her at the end.
Great reaction! You look like you are really enjoying your Home Free journey! Thank you for taking us Home Fries with you! They are so talented! And down to earth. Beautiful souls! Thanks again!
You are so right about Folsom Prison facts. Yes, Adam does the shotgun click and he's amazing. Love Home Free and am enjoying your videos. I will say Helplessly Hoping is one you don't want to miss.
@Kelly Williams...Thanks for the info, it's nice to have behind the scenes stories on these songs. I've seen Chris Rupp's video reaction to Ring of fire and he gave lots of info in that song. I've got lots more to watch! Thanks!
Written by Johnny Cash and performed at Folsom Prison in 1968. The song went off the charts and has been a favorite ever since. A great song for bass Tim and baratone/base Chance. Adam has a repertoire of unhuman sounds. If you'd like to see him unleashed on his own, see his drum solo. Oh, and welcome to the Home Fries.
I'd love to see your reaction to, Adam Rupp, Drum Solo. That will absolutely blow your mind. Adam will be wearing a red plaid shirt in the video. Make sure that, that's the one you watch.
Adam is the best! Though all of them are, really 😊 My recommendations are Hillbilly bone, Woman, amen /Female, Blue ain't your color, Flowers on the wall. Or just anything!
Folsom California State Prison is a California State Prison in Folsom, California, U.S., approximately 20 miles (32 km) northeast of the state capital of Sacramento. It is one of 34 adult institutions operated by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.[2] Opened in 1880, Folsom is the state's second-oldest prison, after San Quentin, and the first in the United States to have electricity.[3] Folsom was also one of the first maximum security prisons. It has been the execution site of 93 condemned prisoners.[4] Musician Johnny Cash put on two live performances at the prison on January 13, 1968. These were recorded and released as a live album titled At Folsom Prison.[5][6][7] He had written and recorded the song "Folsom Prison Blues" more than a decade earlier.
Great reaction. You are the first reactor to acknowledge Adam Rupp making the sound of a rifle cocking. These guys can be very humorous too. Check out Never Gonna Give You Up if you need a good laugh. Austin’s dance moves are hilarious. Also check out Helpless Hoping and Where Art Thou if you want to hear Adam(the Beatboxer) sing.
@@taylorfamilyreactions Thankyou for going down this rabbit hole!! I fell down it earlier this year and its wonderful, just please do NOT react to Mayday until you know each member of the band and what they normally sing, because you will appreciate that song all the more! New subscriber and looking forward to this journey with a fellow brit.
@@taylorfamilyreactions In an interview, the beatboxer (Adam Rupp) said it was just easier to do with his own shotgun cocking. He probably can do it. I haven't seen many sounds he can't make. Whether you do a reaction to it or not, look up "Home Free Drum Solo." He's phenomenal.
You definitely have taken a fall down the rabbit hole with us.. enjoy! Not sure there is a bad Home Free song... just close your eyes and pick .. you cant go wrong.. Christmas is coming.. listen to Do You Hear What I Hear.. O Holy NIght.. Snowglobe (Tim the super bass wrote this one and sings the insanely high lead) Warmest Wishes (Austin wrote that one.. makes me cry every time) Thanks! Philly Fry here..
How many caught the little joke of the heighth boards behind them. T his.seems to be a group who are having fun, enjoying each others company and life itself. Since I began listening to them this damn thoughtkeeps.rolling through mind: These are the kinda guys you just naturally say hello how's it going and acting 2an a know hows it going friends.
This is one of their quarantine videos. They were constantly putting out new videos throughout the pandemic & quarantine. Each band member recorded his audio & video in his home, then their amazing audio & video producers would put it all together. The only one you won't hear sing lead is Adam Rupp. Adam has a great tenor voice, but he prefers to do the beatboxing. You do hear him sing a little every now & then if they do a song that doesn't have beatboxing. They have an amazing version of "How Great Thou Art" where Adam sings a brief solo part. They're all incredibly talented & they seem to just keep getting better.
“Can’t stop the feeling” is a good toe tapper, they make their own rhythm section with their voices. They can sing any genre, listen to their version of Boys 2 men “ End of the Road”. And Keith Urban’s “ Blue ain’t your color”. “ Helplessly hoping “ is a great one that really shows their vocal ability, some call it ear candy😊. The best acapella groups out there today are Homefree, Pentatonix and Voiceplay. Pentatonix won the sing off in season 3 and. Homefree won the sing off in season 4. Voiceplay also competed in season 4 but they got eliminated. Homefree are my favorite because they are the most versatile
Oops I will let Alice know another one is going down the rabbit hole LOL loved that video you can't go wrong with any of the songs that are recommended that song was a Johnny Cash cover the man in Black he performed that song there in Folsom prison also and recorded it live another one from Johnny Cash is one of his covers Ring of fire that features Avi Kaplan formally from the group Pentatonix which is also a great acapella group
After Ring of fire you should check out their cover of voice to Men song end of the road it will blow your socks off then go back to a country song done by cam their cover called May Day have a great fun keep up the good work can't wait to hear and see other country reactions besides home Free and other ones you have done
@@joecantu8131 I think he should probably get to know Home Free and the individual singers by name, and the part they play within this group before tackling Mayday. If he reacts too soon the surprises in the song will be lost on him, and he will think it's just another song. What do you think?
@@joecantu8131 Don't do "Mayday" until you know everyone's names, skills and their placement within the Group! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOT TO DO "MAYDAY" YET! You will regret it, if you do it too early!
Johnny Cash original, he's a country music icon, passed away back in 2003. Beautiful song! Home Free jazzed it up a little bit, but it made me love it even more.
Love my Adam Rupp the beatboxer and yes he makes the sounds he is fantastic. He taught Austin how to do the Nomonica as he calls it. Austin is the High tenor. You really need to see and hear Adam Rupps Drum solo. He is just excellent at all he does. He even has a honey-sweet tenor voice. He sings a short solo in the "How Great Thou Art" All acapella no beatboxing video. You also have to watch and listen to "Brother". It is so funny and the video is all Adams idea. Oh, and another thing he is a D&D master gamer.
If you want to see how amazing the beatboxer (Adam Rupp) can be take a look at his drum solo that you can find easily on youtube. He's nicknamed "freak of nature"for his talent of doing just every sound using his mouth. His skills will let you speechless.Greetings from Italy.
There is a group that is from where I grew up The Staler Brothers they have an original song called Flowers on the wall. It’s written by the bass singer Harold read after they played at the mental institution and he had this conversation with one of the patients. It was also in pulp fiction
Johnny Cash wrote "Folsom Prison Blues" in 1953, releasing it in 1955. He took (borrowed?) the melody and many of the lyrics from a song called "Crescent City Blues" written by Gordon Jenkins and released in 1953. Jenkins in turn borrowed the melody from Little Brother Montgomery's release of the same song in the 1930's. File under: art - wash, rinse, repeat or ain't nothin' new under the sun. Anyway, HomeFree is brilliant!
You are the first person, that I've seen react, to react to this song and mention the smile Tim has at 7:55. And yes, it does look like he's thinking that nobody gets that low. There is a video on youtube of him blowing out a speaker at a concert.
Opened in 1880, Folsom is the state's second-oldest prison, after San Quentin, and the first in the United States to have electricity. Folsom was also one of the first maximum security prisons.
Unfortunately, I also discovered them soon. Only 2 months ago. I quickly catch up. And I've already sunk: D: D If I have to recommend for your reaction only one of their songs, I couldn't. Everyone is my favorite already ... Ring of Fire, End of the Road, When a Man Loves a Woman, Elvira, , Blue Ain't Your Color, Sea Shanty Medley .... With Home Frey I discovered several more a cappella groups. But one of them blows the mind .... Most of Home Frey's fan group also supports Voisplay. I highly recommend Oogie Boogie's song, My Mother Told Me, Warriors, Tennessee Whiskey, Queen in 5 min, Daddy Sang Bass , Carry On Wayward Son... I promise a lot of fun. :)
that was Tim's sinister bassist look..... the equally low bass Geoff Castilucci from Voiceplay credits Tim with teaching him some bass vocal techniqes .....he does some solos where he sings all the patrs ...like Tim he has a 4-5 octave range
Search here on youtube for the beatboxer's solo performances: Adam Rupp solo He's done some extremely impressive stuff, long solo acts that leaves you jawdropping. And yes, Tim Foust (Home Free), Avi Kaplan (Pentatonix 2017 and earlier), and Geoff Castellucci (VoicePlay, also another acapella group you should check out, for instance their Ooogie Boogie song). are awesome bass singers. Also the newer bass in Pentatonix, Matt Salle is great.
Adam is the veat boxer. And he has a beat box drum battle video on the Home Free YT channel. It's pretty amazing what he can do with his voice. I 've never heard of anyone who can touch him.
I just love your reactions! I try to watch every one! You are on point with your comments! Please do Adam Lambert with Queen Bohemian Raphsody from Japan with the Freddie duet, it will blow your mind! Love you
Thanks for the reaction...it just don't get any better thenthese 5 guys...they were meant to sing together! For as low as Tim goes on these videos...he takes it to the extreme and goes even lower when he sings it live! I've been there...his low notes shake your seat and rattles in your chest! Check out Ring Of Fire live!
YES! the live version. You can actually check out the one with Avi Kaplan, the one from the sing off, and one of the live versions. Each one is done a little differently all are great.
